Hey guys,
I've been selling on Fiverr for about 6 months now and it's been an amazing experience for the most part. I've worked with some great clients who often come back to order many times, and it's been so fun working on all sorts of different projects.
I specialize in Mobile UI designs. My gig makes this clear in the title, description, and category, and I tell buyers to message me first. However, recently I had a buyer order my project who I'm pretty sure didn't know what they were getting themselves into. After delivering them (in my opinion) one of my best designs yet, they were angered that I didn't also "make their app work" aka, develop it. After explaining calmly that I am only a designer, how I make that clear in my description, and in my gig category, he still didn't calm down saying how I can't possibly charge so much for just design and that I was scamming him, and need to also "develop" his app.
So I'm at a standstill right now trying to figure out what to do. On one hand, I'm worried that if I accept this order, the customer will leave a negative review, but on the other I spent a lot of time in design that I would hate to go to waste. It's frustrating to me because I always go above and beyond to deliver more than I promise, but this is something totally not in my skillset that would be a massive task.
Anyone else had any experiences like this?
