  1. You're the only seller (in this topic) that doesn't fear intimidation. Wise nuggets to say the least. That's how you stand up for yourself. Yeah, sure Vickie. Don't be surprised if you see me here after a decade. I might be here for the long haul 😅 Fiverr is a great platform. It has helped me learn the ropes of freelancing, and I'm more than grateful. However, every business has its own weaknesses. But there's some kind of beauty in imperfection as Conrad Hall notes. Imperfection is more admired by people because we all can relate to the imperfection. Wonderful insights, Joy! I just felt the need to let you know that you this is a well thought-out solution. I love it!
  2. I love Fiverr so much, the only problem is that it's inclined to support the buyer more than the seller (that's my unpopular opinion). I would be extremely satisfied as a buyer on Fiverr. My advice for sellers is: Work your way up, start your own business within the next few years (five years or so), and hire from here; don't be a seller forever.
  3. From my my experience with using Fiverr, this is what you should do to see more Buyer Requests: 1. Have the Fiverr App on your phone and turn on the "Show Online Status" option. Remember to stay online as much as you can. 2. Refresh the Buyer Request page as much possible every time you login to the platform. 3. Create 7 gigs. If they're in different subcategories, the better. 4. Focus on SEO optimization in your gig descriptions.
  4. Thank you for your advice bruh. I really appreciate.
  5. Thank you so much for the advice, Vickie.
  6. Hello fam, I wrote several (more than ten) articles for a client and posted all these blogs in over 10 websites. You know it isn't that easy learning the features of all these websites, publishing all these blog posts and also adding links and images. The client reached out to me with a different username three days after the order was marked as complete and asked me to continue publishing his blogs in these websites since the blog posts haven't yet ranked on Google. Now, if it was that easy I would do it but I'm honestly skeptical about this. Please advice.
  7. Hello, I can imagine what you're going through. I have had buyers who seem to ignore you for some reason. What I would advice you to do is to market his website link as much as possible via Pinterest (at least three to five times a day). You may also want to share the blog link on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Medium and any other site that has traffic. I know that's a bit too much but I know how some buyers can be. Just go out of your way and exceed their expectations. And also remember to be as courteous as possible. At the very worst, the buyer may decide not to leave any review but that's better than a negative review. Cheers bruh, and all the very best as a new seller.
  8. You have a point, John. You should not outsource your tasks to anyone. The buyer trusts that you will diligently work on the order by yourself. But sometimes we have very busy schedules and overwhelming tasks. I really hope that you never give your client's work to any freelancer. Thank you for your insights. I also made a mistake.
  9. Thank you for your timely response, Jonbaas. I forgot to mention that I would send the completed articles to him in batches for review and he had no issues whatsoever. He would not let me work on any other article before approving the completed write ups. Also, I only have one writer and I thoroughly check her work to ensure it's in tandem with the client's requirements.
  10. I have a very bad experience with a buyer. He made an order of $100 (which is huge to me because I outsourced to another writer) since I was very busy. He wanted me to create blogs to rank on Google and bring down one negative blog link that is hurting his job prospects. The "bad link" is an organization that accuses him of gross misconduct. Now, only one blog has ranked on Google as at the time of writing (He's salty about that) and he claims that all my blogs are simply a rewording of his other blogs that focus on his research findings. The problem is that he is a health practitioner and creating blogs that don't focus on his research would be a problem too. How do you create a blog about someone's research findings and include information that is not true? My instincts tell me that he will give me a very difficult time. What do you suggest I do? Should I contact Customer Support?
  11. I can't suddenly contact my buyer via Fiverr Chat; only through the Order Page. I cannot also see his reviews from sellers. What does this mean?
  12. It's very true. But there is a belief that when your gig gets many clicks per day, the Fiverr algorithm increases its impressions. I was working with that ideology when I made that post. Could that be true or is it just some hearsay?
  13. Promote your gig in social media platforms which have a lot of traffic, like Facebook groups.
  14. Hi fam, I'm just wondering, does Fiverr hate when you deliver again after making your first delivery? Will your impressions go down? I have done that a couple times when I realize I made a mistake and choose to deliver again.
  15. I've seen multiple Top Rated Sellers and I'm pretty sure most of them would want to get to the coveted Fiverr Pro level. So, what does Fiverr really look for? Anyone with an idea?
  16. I was just wondering whether Fiverr favors your gig that has orders but no reviews yet because some buyers prefer not leaving any feedback.
