  1. Yes, so the credit card used to purchase a Fiverr gig was disputed by the buyer to the credit card company.. The credit card company charged back to Fiverr and Fiverr will charge you back as well. If you've already withdrawn the funds. Credit card could also have been a stolen one. But unfortunately, you've done the work and delivered with no pay. I've had this happen twice now and lost quite a bit of money through Fiverr.
  2. I'm my experience with Fiverr there is little protection for the seller. The website is riddled with buyers who are little more than hustlers and scam artists. Not to say that there aren't some really great buyers as well. My point is that, as a seller, the Fiverr umbrella has really no safety for the seller. Everything from fake credit cards to out and out lies from buyers.
