  1. Unfortunately I have a feeling from these and many other responses that this new rating system and unsubstantiated drops in "success score" and number of orders will drive away more good sellers than it brings in. Hopefully it wont take them long to realize this major blunder on their part. Money talks, and if they lose enough because they can't keep sellers, maybe they will change their tune. Probably not though.
  2. I actually DID have CS reply to the same question. They gave me some generic prewritten response about what you can do as a seller to improve your response times, your quality of goods, communication, blah, blah, blah... Then they told me that your score is also based on an average of how everyone else in your Gig category is scoring. So apparently Fiverr is now grading on a curve. I know it doesn't help but does shed some insight.
  3. I can say for me personally that I was one of those that had been with Fiverr since around 2011 or so and stayed for about 5 years. I got SO FRUSTRATED with the lack of help and transparency in understanding how Fiverr's system worked. It seemed that no matter what I did to improve nothing helped and no one else had any ideas or help either. In fact I got so mad with them that I cancelled my seller account and said I would never go back. Of course I did come back with more success now. But it was from researching and watching other people's trial and error that I was able to do a little better than before. Fiverr CS doesn't understand that if I am at a place to seek out help from them it is because I have exhausted all other means and resources. Instead they send me generic answers that anyone with half a brain and Google could figure out in half a second. Sorry for the vent. And for the record, this new "Success Score" system needs a lot of work. I was told by Fiverr CS they also base it somewhat on how everyone else in your category scores also. So apparently Fiverr is grading on a curve...Doesn't seem fair but it is what it is for now.
  4. Have had the same questions and issues with the new level system, however maybe not as drastic as some. I have been Level 2 for over 2 years and All of my Success Score categories are maxed out as high as they can go to reach Top Rated. Then the new system kicks in and all my orders dropped and I go back down to Level 1. All because my new "Success Score" dropped to 6 which put me down a Level and further away from Top Rated. It is one away from putting me back to the Level 2 where I was before. After reviewing, Fiverr says that I have "Strong negative impact" and "Negative Impact" on one specific Gig. I have no idea why because I have had nothing but 4.7-5 star ratings for the past 9 months. When I contacted Fiverr the send me the same prefabricated response about how to treat customers and always do your best to communicate,...blah, blah, blah. I respond that I have done all that but I am specifically looking for the reason for the "Strong negative impact" score. Which order or something that will help me understand. They send me the same prefabricated response AGAIN! ZERO help from customer support to ACTUALLY help (I've contact CS many times over the years. They always respond but NEVER have provided help) Fiverr CS did tell me that my score is based on the combined average score of other sellers in my categories...So Fiverr is grading on a curve now? Doesn't exactly seem fair for people that work hard to keep things right. I can't make things better if I don't know what the problem is in the first place. I have never had any problems with any clients and Fiverr wont tell me anything. I guess you can only get real help if you pay for their "Success Manager"
  5. That makes sense but it all happened on December 12...the exact same day all gigs went to almost 0. That's why I thought it might have been a Fiverr issue. Then Jan 4 all gigs back up to normal. Just seemed really weird that it happened like that.
  6. That makes sense, except would a bad private review affect ALL of my Gigs? I would assume that it would only affect the one the bad review was on. I have several Gigs in many different areas of work and they were all affected.
  7. I was reviewing my Gigs in December and noticed every single one of my 6 Gigs massively dropped off in clicks and impressions (down to single digits) at the same time on December 12. Then for no apparent reason they all went back up dramatically on Jan 4. Anyone else experience that? Any ideas what might have caused it? Thanks
  8. Anyone who has "figured out" the Fiverr algorithm could sell it for a lot of money. There are certain things that everyone can and should do - quick responses, on-time order delivery, social media posting, Buyer Requests, etc. But there is no magic formula. I have been a Level 2 Seller for quite a while with steady orders from regular clients. Then, for no apparent reason everything stopped completely. No orders or messages for going on 3 months now. I've tried everything I can find to do and no change. Also, FYI in case you didn't know, Fiverr also sends clients a private review for you after the job is completed that you the seller will never. But it MAJORLY affects your status, rank, and sales.
