  1. Behringer B-2 Pro: you can have good quality, costs not so much, if switched can be used as 2nd mic with omnidiretional mode to capture the room's ambience.
  2. Now my best gear is called MR4 by Edifier, these monitors are really incredible!!!! Acquired now in 2022... I thought to use for a time and switch to the Tannoy Gold 5 for the future, but I like them so much I consider to not switch.
  3. Newer answer: Harrison Mixbus v7 (because I own v7, but will for the future possibily upgrade). Intuitive, good style compressors (leveller is my favorite); analog emulated with accurate algorithms, not so expensive for what gives; accurate analysis after bouncing (if you wish), supports VST, AU (macOS), LV2 plug-ins formats running into Windows, macOS and Linux environment. Good support via phone calls, good community some options on the go like pressing shift for looking maximum and minimum LUFS things, well... my DAW of choice! PS: Other DAWs are good too, just my opinion.
  4. If not allowed second post after doing one sorry... I was this $ 5 guy, but after some time jumped to a newer stage. I believe that for a start is ok $ 5, but after some time you should value your work accordingly. Since you can deliver a pro service that deserves $ 40 or more, for example.
  5. The only thing is about the mixing part being cohesive for this trick, so the mastering project out of this technique because it's a single interface with 2x2, but works fine about songs so I process after that in the project.
  6. I finally catch one analog gear, I chose Alesis 3630 in 2021, still happy with the R1280Db (monitors) I have, using them for 4 years now and 2021 was the year I bought the H840 (headphones) and am still impressed about them. Very nice!
  7. I won't say I will keep my original price for now for too long, since I need too reviews to keep my business about fiverr ($30 converted to my currency is a very nice value for a mastering service for now). I would do $ 5? Now I don't think so, because the courses I have, the books I read and my mindset about music being not only science, but also style, art, makes me feel that ok, a lot of people think about better vs worse, but some perspectives are: they're different! Why some engineers charge $ 200 and some $ 500? Some $ 30, some $ 150? All cases with clientele, the question you should ask is not if you have to do for $ 5, but if your service worths $ 5 or more to you. To me not because my service worths $ 30, but because I am comfortable with this value for now, but things can change. Again, "I won't say I will keep my original prices", I mean, can I do for $ 5 for increase rating? Yes, but I really wish to at least wait the time for some proposals, perhaps, for $ 30, for now. My opinion by now.
  8. Steinberg too (Ur22) linked to Alesis 3630 linked to ins of Ur22 and Edifier monitors for now, working nice, getting some results, great ones using Studio One 4.6 Pro Pipeline with the gear. The D-Pre preamp is veeeeeery good, I will perhaps buy the Ur44 or another interface, possibily Ur-Rt4 is about my radar too.
  9. Well... I purchased about 2010 FL Studio, but since I decided to do more mastering than mixing, but also mixing and I feel comfort and like the tools Studio One Pro has, I choose this one. For now I own an Ur22 from Steinberg, a singular 2x2 interface and with a splitter I can send signal to the compressor I have (Alesis 3630) and from the Alesis outs to the ins of the Ur22 and my monitors. Simply while mastering I did a trick about making the 1st stage fader down and using the Pipeline about gear integration, so i can assign the master outs and the ins, working fine with the gear I have. For these questions and the great support I choose Studio One.
