I won´t say numbers ("the ideal price is this" $$$$) but I will say things you realy must consider and place in balance beforing setting your price: The first thing in my opinion that is the most important, that have the highest weight to setting price is: 1 - Efforts. If you think you will spend a lot of efforts doing this animation (or anyother service) raises your prices, you thinks its an easy job, lower your prices. Much more harder to do, much more high prices. Much more easier to do, much more lower prices. Other things you must consider is: 2 - Animation time: how long will last, longer animations requires more efforts, so more expensive. More lenght, more video editing, more expensive. 3 - Frame Rate: Much higher the frame rate, more expensive. Animating in 8 frames per second (Pokemon´s quality) is much more easier than animating in 24 frames per second (Disney´s Snow White quality). 4 - Number of characters: More characters, more efforts, so more expensive. No matter the lenght. 30 seconds with 10 characters is so much complicated as 10 minutes with just 1 character. 5 - Number of Backgrounds: More backgrounds, more efforts, so more expensive. No matter the lenght. Drawing 10 backgrounds to be shown in 30 seconds is much more complicated than drawing 1 background to be shown in 10 minutes. 6 - Original or free background music: If buyer wants an original bgm, more expensive. If he doesn´t mind you uses a free bgm, lower price. 7- Purpose of animation: Most animations is for commercial purposes. So, more expensive. 8 - Size of buyer: Much more bigger is your buyer, more expensive. No, this isn´t unethical. If Blizzard hires me to animate its new game "World of Warcraft 5" (suposing the will launch it), I will obviously raise too much my prices, Blizzard will earn millions for sure using the animations I did for their game, they can pays me whatever I asks them! If an indie developer, somebody that is just starting in game market and will develop his first game wants to hires me, I will lower my prices to fits his budget.

Just include commercial rights on your animations and don´t think about it. 90% of your buyers will uses your animations for commercial purposes. Its very rare someone buy an animation material as a gift for his girlfriend. Buyers will asks you to create animations for the following purposes: - Animations for promoting products or services videos (obvious is commercial) - Logo animations (Obvious is commercial!) - Intro animations (Obvious is commercial)! - Animations for Youtube (they will show for somebody and Youtubers wants likes, they earns with likes and views, its commercial) - Animations for streamers (Same as Youtubers, its commercial purposes) - Animations for games (Developers wants to sell their games, its commercial) - Animations for music videos (Singers and composers wants to sells their music, its commercial) - Animations for animated series, cartoons and animes... (Producers wants to sell their animations, its commercial) Rarely they will asks "Its my girlfriend birthday and I want you draws me, my mother and her familiars singing happy birthday for her"! It is very rare doing an animation for final consumer. Most of all animations done is for commercial purposes, so just set a good price and don´t think about commercial use, because they will use it for commercial purposes.

"What if a buyer places an order without any discussion?" Try to asks him what to do in order page. If no response in 1 day, and if time counter is running, so.................. ... you do job as best you can even without any information from him, do it by your own mind on your own way, based on what you think the buyer wants then deliver in time. If he asks for revisions, and is reasonable, do it. If not asks to add more days. If you delivered, and got no response, no asks for revisions, nothing... so just wait the order be completed automaticaly and get your money. This kind of thing happened to me once.

Yes, this same country asks a lot for 3D characters animations with 1 day deadline and payment of $5, "my budget is fixed, don´t bid if you don´t agree or I will report you", they requests "just professionals with Dreamworks quality, don´t bid if you can´t do it or I will report you", they want high quality job done in 1 day for just $5, and no place order until the job is done, and to make things much more worse they threaths to report you just for bidding on their absurd posts! This same country has hundreds of gigs offering japanese anime style animation with cuscenes from famous animes like Naruto, Boruto, Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, My Hero Academia... in its showcases (all dubed iin japanese)! Realy? How someone can believe that people from this country worked in Naruto!? (And if they did, they would be Pro Sellers verified, not just novice level in Fiverr). All their gigs description seens to be copy paste, with few changes. There is many other absurds I´ve seen from this country, in Fiverr!

I saw a lot of posts in Buyers Requests saying "You must deliver the job done first to me then I place order" (and the majority of these "buyers" is from same country), but I realy didn´t expect that someone would accept this condition so easily. Seens that, for this guy is so common starting the job before placing order.

I knows that. But I´m not talking about men who likes men or women who likes women, I´m talking about peoples that thinks they can lives alone. If you are a man that like man, or a woman that like woman, go on, choose anyone you like to be with. My point is that nobody can lives alone.

Well, there is women that likes to be submissive to a man, its their choices. Anyway, women´s is submissive to their bosses in their jobs, but can´t be submissive to their husbands, the ones that realy loves them. A boss don´t care about his woman staff unless she does her job. Anytime he can fire her. A husband made a promisse to love a woman, and be with her for the rest of his life, in richness or poorness, in healthy or diseasse. So let the womem that choosed to be submissive to a lovely man being what they choosed to be. Its her choice. Marriage has a lot with that. The societies that didn´t have marriage institutions suffered and disappeared. Without marriage, without a promisse of protection and provision from a man, women suffers. Let me explain: there is many factor that leads single womem to destruction withou marriage: In ancient ages, if a woman gets pregnant and if she didn´t have a man by her side, she could be vulnerable to the atack of a beast at anytime. In fact, any women that lived alone during cave ages, died. Women needed a way to make a man be with her, or herself and her children would dies. So cave men that just makes a lot of babies with a lot of women saw that their women and childrens was dying too, because he wasn´t presence to protect their women. No man can gives attention to a lot of womem. So was needed the monogamy if humankind wants to survive. Each man chooses your women and protects and provides her, or everybody would dies. Marriage comes and is working until now. Yes, it is. Lives by your choice. If you don´t wants a relationship its your choice. I`m not forcing anyone to lives like I lives. I´m just telling in this topic what is my choices, and my choice is loving God, having a lovely, gentle and submissive wife, having childrens and loves a lot my wife and childrens. I love my family. Yes, but I wouldn´t like to be in Aldous Huxley´s distopy. I realy prefer to have relationships. Love is the cure for these times of despair whose a lot of peoples doesn´t believes in relationships anymore: like feminists and mgtows. No, it isn´t! This is a very bad idea! There is still a lot of resources in earth. In fact resources are infinites, every resource has cycles. Earths provides foods as much as peoples works. So, you want that a man makes you happy but you don´t wants to makes him happy? You wants that a man changes himself to makes you happy but you won´t change 0.000001 mg of yourself to make him happy? Relationships is an exchange, you must makes someone happy, to be happy in return. We are equal in rights. But we aren´t equal in biology, psicology, needs, tastes and behaviors. You are free to choose any path for your life, but also you must takes responsabilities for your own choices. If you choosed, you are responsible for the consequences of your choices. I´m not saying that I can control women. Don´t think men is your enemies, they aren´t. On the world exists good men and evil men, exists also good women and evil women. I´m fully agree that everyone is free to do their own choices. If a woman chooses to live doing b d s...m, its her choice; if a woman falls in love for a bandit man (syndrome of stocolm) its her choice; If a woman wants to have 50 cats inside her house, its her choice. If a woman wants to spend all her life working and making money its her choice. If a woman wants to be single for the rest of her life its her choice too. I can see Buyer´s Request in pc but not in app anymore. I hope these new system brief can filter scammer posts and posts who asks to deliver job before placing order.

Well, humankind survived for 10,000 years because the traditional way of life. Everybody was born from a marriage (with exceptions, but vast majority are from marriages). The life of the most of all peoples on earth started because a man and a woman loved each other. No love, no babies. No love, no structured family. No family, no society. No love, no good life. Every society that tried to live in a non-traditional way, was self-destroyed. And what is the problem about a woman being gentle? No man likes rude woman.

Everything associated with feminism is wrong. The beliefs that man and woman are equals is completely wrong. Don´t get me wrong, I´m not saying mem and women doesn´t must have equal rights, it must have. But the truth is that men and women are biologicaly and psicolicaly diferent from each other. Men and Women has completely diferent needs, tastes, desires and goals in life. Don´t expect a man will act like a woman would act in same situation. Don´t expect a man would be satisfied with what would satisfy a woman. Or a woman would be satisfied with what satisfy a man. We´re completely diferent. We are not equals, but we are complementary to each other. None of us can lives alone.

Somethings very important that I learned in my life: 1 - God is the most important. 2 - Nobody can lives alone. Forget any ideology that says man can live without a woman, or a woman can live without man. God created man and woman to be together and have happy relationship to each other. 3 - Marriage is the most important institution in life. 4 - Money doesn´t brings happyness. 5 - Don´t work too much until destroying your health and relationships, but also never be lazy and stops working as you had infinite money. Be balanced.

There is many things I regret 1 - I regret a lot leaving my church for 2+ years. 2 - I regret a lot not taking my marriage so serious. Yes, a marriage is the most serious relationship in life. A wife is thousands times more important than parents or kids. Thanks God I´m still married, but I´m realy doing things completely diferent from before. 3 - I regret a lot lying to my wife, telling her that I was working while I was playing games. 4 - I regret a lot not studied for serious when in University. 5 - I regret a lot the fact that I was a comunist and feminist man before. Thanks God I´m safe from these evil ideologies. 6 - I regret a lot not being disciplined before and waking up around 12:00 midday. I won´t do it anymore, never more in my life work during late night. Sleeping well is very important to reach prosperity. Sleeping during day and working during night was destroying my health. Now when sun falls and night comes, I stops anything I am doing and go eat then sleep. I just wake up when sun appears again. I don´t start any activity before sun rises.

This is just the truth. Every new artist (or just somebody that thinks that being a graphic designer is an easy job), trys to start doing logos. In terms of art, I will tells you what is easier (and consequently more saturated) to the hardest (and consequently less saturated and less competitive, but also you must prove your skills and that you realy can do it.) Ok letst go: Level 1 artists (Gennins): These are Graphic Designers (specialy logo creators) - Being a graphic designer is a so saturated branch that I advise you: go to the next level or give up being an artist and do another thing to live. Level 2 artists (Chunins): These are illustrators in any styles: cartons, anime, realistc... - Being an illustrator isn´t easy, you must have techniques but the branch isn´t saturated, if you are medium illustrator you can gain something. (being honest, even the worst illustrators I´ve seen can charge something...) Of course if you are one of the bests illustrators you can charge a lot from buyers. Level 3 artists (Jonins): These are 2D animators - Now you can see a branch much less saturated. The oportunities here is realy good, but of course doing any animation isn´t easy, you must study a lot, train a lot, and of course you can´t be an animator if you don´t know how to draw, so it is impossible to reach level 3 without being an illustrator first. Level 4 artists (Special Jonins): These are 3D animators - Now we are talking about realy good oportunities! 3D modeling and animation isn´t saturated, but of course to survive here you must learn and study a lot and have a very good equipment as well friends working with you. And you don´t need to necessarily knows illustrations and 2D animations before, although it is much better you had steped in early levels. It is realy hard being a 3D animator, that´s the reason this branch isn´t saturated. The only problem here is that in Fiverr is a lot of nigerians scammer offering a price too much cheap for 3D jobs. Avoid nigerians, if you can get buyers from other countries they realy can pays what you deserve for 3D animations. Level 5 artists (Hokages): If you knows how to do everything in other levels in high quality, you are realy a Hokage!!!! Congratulations!

And what would be their purposes? If not to receive orders, what is their goals?

Well, this is free market, anyone can buy or sell anything for any price. The same occurs to me, I have a 3D modelling and animation gig, learning how to model and animate in 3D is realy hard, and I receive offers from some buyers (most of them from Nigeria) to do it for $10-$30 for a complete project. And when I say to them my real price $100-$200 most of them asks me to do the job before placing order. I just say "no" to these "buyers". I saw some gigs selling 3D animations for low prices too, I know that someday those that are selling for low price will bankrupt or they will raise prices some days. It is impossible to survive doing 3D and selling for low prices.

I will show you how you are wrong when you say that we are "sensitive folks getting awfully triggered by what others are doing, as opposed to just concentrating on making their own services top notch". Having a good service matters, or course, but having good neighboors matters too. I will prove how you are wrong. There is 4 variables (The 4 P of Marketing, by Jerome McCarthy) that can directly influence your sales: 1 - Product: as we are Fiverr sellers, product is our services. 2 - Price: doesn´t matter how good is your product or service if your buyers doesn´t want to pay for it or doesn´t have enough money for purchase it. 3 - Place: Yes, the place wich you are selling is important too. And your neighboors counts. For us, Fiverr sellers, our place is Fiverr plataform. 4 - Promotion: Just let people knows you have a service to sell. I will focus now in the variable 3: Place. Yes, it is realy important what others are doing. Imagine you are a very good citizen, you are a very good guy, you go to church, you don´t smoke, you don´t drink, you are a respectfull person, you are honest and work hard everyday, (yes, you are an exemplar person, you concentrated all your energies to make yourself a top notch). But you walk with bandit friends and all your friends are rogues and junkies, but you are no like them, you are "top notch". You are being seen walking around with all kind of bad people. What other people would think about you? They will think you are a good citizen and a good guy? Do you realy thinks that when you find the girl of your dreams, she will believes that you are not a bandit or junkie like your friends? "I want to find a good boyfriend, a good guy, an honest man handsome and hardworking, I will search in that group of bandits there." - Says the girl! Really? Do you realy think a good girl would say that? I don´t think so. Now lets apply the same concept to our business: A person wants a 2D character animated in anime style. He has a lot of money and he is willing to pay a lot for a very good animation, original and beautifull. You are the right guy to do it, you know it. You knows that when this person sees your gig, he will hire you for sure, because you are competent, you have a very good service, you draw beautifull, you´re amazing, your service is "top notch". Then this person goes to Fiverr and types in search "2D anime style animation" and what he finds is a lot of fake gigs using famous anime cutscenes in its showcases. More than half of these gigs are fake gigs. He clicks one gigs and see a Dragon Ball scene from an episode he just saw before, obvious this gig is a fake, then he clicks another and sees "My Hero Academia", then "Atack on Titan", he also found "Sailor Moon" in one of these gigs. All gigs that he thinks has a good quality animation is fake. In the fifth click he will just be thinking "Whats going on?", in the eighth click he will be thinking "Enough, everybody here is scammers!" He won´t think "Oh, maybe someone here is a "top notch", I will keep searching these 270 fake gigs one by one until I find the "top notch". Let´s be realistic, he won´t keep searching until to find your "top notch" gig service! It is almost useless to be a "top notch" in a sea of fake gigs. The chance to someone has a hope to find someone so good like you is almost 0. What a person willing to spend so much money will think is: "Fiverr is a place full of scammers, I won´t risk my money there. I will find another freelancer plattaform, with more credibility and hire someone there." You would give up searching too if you see a lot of scammers sellers in any sales plataform like Shopee, E-bay, Ali Express... You don´t go to a marketplace that is known to have more than half sellers as "scammers". If you go to a supermarketing, and all products there is low quality, except one, you won´t keep going there just to buy one product. And supose you remember that you need some specific product, and you don´t know if that supermarketing has or not, you won´t go there because you just know that that supermaketing has just low quality products. You won´t have any hope to find a "top notch" product there. So, this argument of "focus just on your service and don´t care about others" falls now. Your 3 P, (Place), realy counts. I don´t want to be seen among rogues. I don´t want to have my gig seen among 200+ fake gigs. I don´t want to be in a plataform full of scammers. So, just focus in my service isn´t enough. Remember the 4 Ps to sell: Product, Price, Place and Promotion.

I just reported the Boruto gig, and someother gigs, days ago and these gigs is still active. I don´t know how many days is needed to Fiverr do something, but I hope they do.

I understands your point. Offering 2D character anime style animations here is being a pain. Search for "2D anime" in Character Animation category and lets see: I found 507 gigs, between these gigs, 272 (more than half) is created by nigerians and most of them is using famous anime scenes in their fake gigs. I think this number is realy high. This isn´t good for serious sellers. Everybody that is looking for anime style animation would give up to find a serious seller among this ocean of fake gigs. You all can check by yourselves. Fiverr realy should do something about this ammount of fake gigs. Ps: I knows that some nigerians is trying to work honestly and hard, but a lot of them isn´t.

Nomuffinsforyou, let me explain exactly why I´m upset: I draw my own logo, I create a gig selling solos and used the logo that I myself designed and Fiverr didn´t aproved it saying that my logo isn´t original. Then I needed to prove to Fiverr, sending source file that I created all logos in showcase of my gig. But... A lot of nigerians creates a lot of gigs using famous animes cutscenes in its gigs showcases. So I´m asking: How couldn´t Fiverr knows that these cutscenes isn´t originals? I see a lot of famous anime cutscenes being used in a lot of gigs (most of these gigs created by nigerians), and Fiverr just aproved all. Even Boruto is in that gigs. As you can see in this print, there is Dragon Ball and Atack on Titan in these gigs! Fiver, you must be kidding! Do you realy believe that these Dragon Ball scene, and Atack on Titan scene dubbed in japanese was made by a nigerian freelancer? While real artists with their own original artwork is having problens with copyrights, someothers has no problem using materials that is obvious and incontestable that has copyrights. This thing doesn´t makes any sense for me.

And what is the parameter to aprove a gig? Why gigs with obvious famous japanese industry anime cutscenes is approved? Seens like Fiverr never heard about animes. I just saw a gig with Star Wars cutscene before!

Yes, but, what parameters Fiverr uses to say "your logo isn´t original" and to the other guy from from country "N" Fiverr says "Oh yeah, you´re using Boruto japanese video and images, we believes that your video and images is 100% original, thats ok!"?? What is the Fiverr´s parameters to say what is original and what isn´t? The other guy didn´t have to prove that he worked in japan drawing Boruto´s episodes, asks that guy if he has the source file of this cutscene, go on, asks him...
