  1. To be safe, I wouldnt do it. Just today, I had a client try to send me their book to record with a google drive link and they got a warning from fiverr for violation of TOS. Put all your questions in the order requirements, that's how I handle it 🙂
  2. Wow, that's awful. Do you think there is any appropriate way to say to them "Please communicate with me before continuing to extend the review period"? or do I just need to shut up and wait? lol
  3. Is there a limit to how many times a buyer can extend the review period? I have a buyer who has been totally silent during our order, never responding to any message I sent. Now that their audiobook has been delivered, they just keep extending their review period. I was able to get a single response to make 1 correction, when I delivered the correction, they just extended the review period again. it’s just super frustrating that they’re basically holding the order hostage and not communicating with me, so I wanted to see if they can just keep doing this indefinitely.
  4. With the recent wave of people having their accounts flagged for "inconsistent location" and stuff like that, you should ask fiverr customer service or your success manager to be safe. Honestly, I am paranoid and I would ask them both. And I also agree with what @newsmike said. Make sure you enjoy your trip, ya workaholic! lol! When I am going on a trip or a holiday is coming up, I extend my delivery timeframes and change my auto-reply message, then just check messages when I can. (Which is still probably more often than I should. because I am also a workaholic) I hope you'll update this thread with the answer you get direct from Fiverr and have a wonderful trip!
  5. I would get someone to make my website look nice and professional. I’d have a pro demo produced. Hire a marketer. I’m sure I could think of more!
  6. I’m glad I saw this! I just got a review from someone who gave me 4/4/5 and said I needed improvement in delivery time (it was delivered early), communication, and quality of delivery. But their review said they loved the audio and it was what they wanted. UGH….. fiverr get it together please!
  7. When I deliver an order, I always include this message: "Also, if fiverr sends you a survey regarding your experience working with me, please take a moment to fill it out if you can. It helps me and lets them know I am taking good care of my customers :)" I phrase it this way because I know I am taking good care of them and have done my best for them. Even sometimes when people are difficult, I'm pretty good at calming and brightening the situation (Thanks, 18 years of customer service work!) If it has been a couple days and the client hasn't reviewed their delivery, I send the message: "Please don't forget to review your deliver before it auto-completes!" I mean for them to listen to (review) their audio and make sure they're happy with it, but I'm not sure how better to phrase it than "review your delivery". So far it hasn't caused me any problems, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to re-phrase it. @vickieito you're a Word Wizard, maybe you would have an idea! No pressure, lol!
  8. Me too! I’ve had around 10 orders completed with 5 star reviews since 2/14 and my score hasn’t budged at all. Every time an order is complete, I check my score hoping to see it has gone up, but NOPE!
  9. What I got from the transcript you showed is: "If your value for money rating is low, explain to every buyer every single step of the process! Beg them to understand why you deserve to be paid!" If they're using 2 years worth of data, Im screeeewed. My husband has had several health emergencies during that time that caused me to either miss deadlines or extend them drastically, so good to know that. But also, since this new system rollout, I have completed 5-6 orders. All on time or early, all with 5 star reviews, several with tips. My success score hasnt moved. So the system isnt fully live til 3/14 to give us time to improve, but HOW DO WE IMPROVE THEN?? (obv this is not me yelling at you @emmaki just commiserating.)
  10. 100%. This feels like a gut-punch. After being level 2 for a couple years, I'm now dropped to level 1 and my most popular gig is a success score of 6, but I have had no negative feedback from any clients. I have several gigis showing negative impact from "communication" but I have no idea how since I respond immediately to anyone who messages me and haven't had anyone say their work wasn't what they wanted. I know private reviews are a thing, but come on! I work so hard every single day and this has really made me feel like giving up. I mean, if I've been bending over backward already and it hasn't been enough, why bother? I dont know what more I could do aside from time-traveling to deliver immediately and having dollar store prices. I guess I just really didn't need this today. Or at all. Fiverr Team, i hope you're all paying attention to our response to the new system.
  11. Im having the same issue. Several of my gigs are showing "strong negative impact" for communication, but I dont understand. I havent had any clients say that their work wasnt what they wanted, I respond almost immediately to any messages, Im polite and clear. I just dont understand. and now I will be dropped to level 1 after being level 2 for a couple years!
  12. I need to learn how to market myself better. I started working on this a few months ago, but I have a loooong way to go, lol! I guess knowing I have a problem is the first step, so at least I have that down!
  13. I tried using upwork this past year and hated it. There were lots of scam jobs or tiny $5 jobs. On one $5 job, I delivered the recording, never heard back, and months later received a message that the person wanted a refund of their $5. So, while I do have a profile on there, I just let it sit
  14. Unsure if this has been said, but fill out your profile to the maximum! People need to know that they can trust you, especially if you are a new seller. Really write a great and passionate bio. Your profile pic should be a pic of your smiling face so that people know you're real. I use different pics of myself in my gig images to create trust that people can be sure I am who I claim to be. Go all out on your gig descriptions and check your grammar and spelling. Start your prices low in order to get orders and get some great reviews to support you. I have been complimented by other sellers on how well I put together my profile and I really just did it because I am neurotic and love filling out forms, but it has helped majorly in getting and keeping clients. Good luck to you! ❤️
  15. UPDATE: just in case someone else ends up in this position, I wanted to update. I lost my Top Rated Seller standing, but did remain at Level 2. So not as devastating as I was afraid it would be!
  16. Evaluations happen today and I know that I’ll be demoted due to not having 90% on time delivery (I’m at 89%). My husband was in the hospital at the end of April and we found he was in heart failure. Life spiraled out of control for a few weeks and I missed several delivery dates, dropping my stat. I have been working like crazy to get my stat up, but it just hasn’t been enough. I just want to know how bad the demotion will be? I’m currently a top rated seller. Will I be demoted all the way back to no level? I’ve worked so so hard to get to this point on fiverr, I’m devastated that I’ll lose my standing. It feels like an extra kick when I’m already down. Any info is appreciated. Thank you.
