  1. Why would we use social media to bring clients to our fiverr profile? There's 20% fee on our end, buyer will have to pay extra fee as well. There are no incentives provided to sellers for referring new clients. Fiverr should look at it's competition. If a seller brings new clients to platform, there should be no fee from seller for the first order.
  2. Hi @Kesha, Do auto-completed orders affect our gig success score and position of gig negatively? If my competition is getting rated orders while my orders are marked completed automatically, it will impact my gig success score negatively? Percentage of my rated orders has seriously decreased since the new rating system came, buyers are more reluctant to leave reviews than ever and I can see its impact on my position in search algorithm. What can we do to make sure buyers understand and leave feedback in this new system. Looking forward to a clear answer from you. Thanks.
  3. This is what I got from CS after asking for more clarification: Autocompleted orders do not affect your account negatively since orders are completed and not canceled. Please bear in mind that your performance is based on your order processes and your relationship with clients. It is not just about autocompleted orders.
  4. Just got clarification from CS: Automatically completed orders do not affect your success score negatively.
  5. I asked the same question from customer support and this is what they responded: I have been reading different posts on this thread, and I have seen many responses from customer support and fiverr representatives, I dont think that anyone mentioned about this that recent orders have a more weight in calculating the success score of gig. Even though the response I got is generic and it didn't answer my original questions, we learned something new.
  6. Adding 'Value for money' in the overall review calculation is a bad decision. I work on shopify stores issues and bugs. Before the confirmation of order, price is discussed and order is only placed if buyer agrees to the price. Sometimes, a solution will take hours and sometimes its fixed in few minutes if someone is experienced in the field like me, I have been working on shopify stores from last 3 years so most of the problems are solved within an hour. How a buyer decides if the price offered to him is a good value for him? What goes on in the buyer's mind? > If I work on a bug for few hours, and per say the order is for 50 usd. He decides the value is good because hours of work was put in to resolve the issue. > Now, if I am experienced, and I solve the same issue within an hour. Same buyer can say, 'oh that was a quick fix and he shouldn't charge 50 usd for a few mins work'. And now same buyer can unknowingly affect your overall ratings. Even if fiverr wants to add something like that, they should not make it part of rating. They can keep it there for the sake of search and recommendation algorithm. I will give you an example, I recently worked for a buyer. I fixed the issue. The experience was great. He wrote an extensive review about it. And he's already in contact with me to work on more tasks. But the review given to me is 4.3, why? Because he thought the price could've been lower. That should be part of a review? NO. Fiverr should make it private ASAP.
  7. An update: Review has been removed by fiverr customer support. 1-star review for a cancelled order, which should not be there originally, was on my profile for last 26 hours only. Still I would say, it's a big no if customer support is going to handle these issues manually, it will be a mess. Sellers will be waiting for hours/days to remove a review.
  8. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED AFTER RECENT UPDATE BY FIVERR Fiverr's new update says an order should meet following criteria, only then a buyer will be able to leave review on a cancelled order: > A delivery was provided to the buyer to complete the order. ✅ A buyer won't be able to leave review if: > First-time buyers who purchased for the first time in the marketplace. ✅ And > If a cancelled order is eligible for a review, the buyer will have 5 days to leave the review. ✅ After the update I received a review on a cancelled order. 1. Buyer was first-time buying on fiverr. ❌ 2. There was no delivery made to buyer. ❌ 3. The cancellation was made on Jan 29, 2023. I received review yesterday, so buyer had around 7 months to review on a cancelled order and not just 5 days. ❌ When this happened to me, I came on forum and spoke about it. I filed a complaint to fiverr customer support. It has been more than 24 hours and I have received no update from CS. I am 100% fine with other updates made by fiverr. But this ability of a buyer to leave review on a cancelled order with such bugs is a BIG NO. First of all, if buyer wants to leave a review then the seller should be able to keep the funds. What is seller getting here: 1. Order is cancelled, so it affects completion rate. 2. Seller spent hours, in some cases days to get a thing done, so a big time waste for a seller. 3. Then seller is getting a negative feedback, a buyer will never give a positive feedback on a cancelled order. The buyer should only be able to leave a review if he is spending something, is seller is not getting fund, he should not be getting review for something he didn't sell. Then, there are many things which are not being decided automatically. If a review is left on a cancelled order which is against fiverr's rules, it can take more than 24 hours to remove the review. Don't you think it will have effects on sales/rankings in those 24 hours?
  9. Thank you very much, @Shiran.M, for your reassurance. The ticket ID is 10191119. I'm hoping that you can address the matter as quickly as possible. The longer it takes to resolve an issue like this, the greater the negative impact it has on my profile.
  10. May be they are sending emails to buyers, reminding them to leave reviews on previously cancelled orders. But that's not sure as of now. I have contacted fiverr customer support. Hopefully they can clear the situation asap. I am also waiting for a reply from @Shiran.M I am confident that these kind of reviews will be removed when CS will manually check everything but still, a feature should not be implemented if its not 100% done.
  11. The order was cancelled 8 months ago. It was placed in Dec, but delivery date was extended to start of Jan, and order got cancelled at the end of Jan. There was no delivery made as solution suggested/requested by buyer was technically impossible. It took more time than expected, but the end it was cancelled because I couldn't get it done.
  12. As a seller if I look at these new updates, they look great and are welcomed! I genuinely believe these updates will be more beneficial for sellers and platform as a whole in the near future. But still, fiverr has to improve a lot in this area. My biggest concern is ability of a buyer to leave a feedback on a cancelled ordered. On my account, an order was cancelled around 8 months ago, in Dec. And I received feedback from buyer on my gig just one hour ago. If I look at the article published by fiverr: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/17120664805521-Reviews-for-canceled-orders- It clearly says, the first time buyer can not leave a review, and a buyer will have to leave the review within 5 days after the cancellation. But in reality this feature has not been implemented yet. In my case, both conditions were met. The account was a first-time buyer on fiverr, and he/she got the ability to leave feedback after 8 months, not 5 days or 14 days or a month. But 8 months old cancelled order!! So, I hope fiverr team can take a look at this. Because it will be a bad impact for sellers profile if buyers get ability to leave reviews for years old cancelled orders just to get some kind of revenge from sellers.
