  1. I've had that happen intermittently, and ended up sending messages on the order page and within the order chat just to be safe. Sometimes it seems as if you have to reword things when reaching out to CS. Screenshots can help, but what I've experienced more often than not with tech issues is them requesting a short video.
  2. It's probably on the Seller Plus forum. I only have Standard, so I don't get to see it. It sure seems like another fun thing to wonder about, though!
  3. Your not alone if you are feeling overwhelmed, helpless, and defeated. I don't think any of us know what to do, although some of us have enough focus to just keep doing what we've been doing to maintain the metrics that we have. Seeing as we were told we had a 30-day grace period to 'do something' about it, which might have made us assume something could be done about it in that time span, one of the things that I've been looking out for on these threads since the announcement is if anyone was able to do just that. I haven't seen anyone mention anything other than decreases in Success Scores, but I could have missed something.
  4. The only way we can tell if our gig descriptions help with traffic is if we have a Seller Plus subscription and the advanced analytics that come with it. If he has it, then he can experiment with it. If not, then, my suggestion would be to write descriptions for humans and not algorithms. I love your username.
  5. They are reading the thread. I've seen familiar names as well as users without names browsing though it.
  6. It got a little wild where Staff was interacting in the original announcement thread that was closed after about as many pages. So, here's where people vent and new announcements automatically have comment capability shut off. You could just ignore everything but the news section of the forum.
  7. I suspect maybe that's why Fiverr staff recently posted about urging clients to leave reviews. I think you might be recalling Kesha's post. That was a big part of the discussion in one of these extensive threads, and I'm recalling it was as a result of Staff trying to clarify an element of the Success Score documentation. I think the unconfirmed conclusion was that AI probably does monitor order chats. We truly don't know for sure, but it makes sense...yet doesn't at the same time. A return client on their 10th order with me who never (publicly) leaves reviews ordered from my newest gig and the curious part of me wants to not get another order on it for a while so I can obsess and lose sleep over the stats. (sarcasm)
  8. In other words, it doesn't work as intended and has nothing to do with you.
  9. I noticed that you had a not-so-great (public) review in the past week. That can drag you down. Hopefully, if that's it, you rebound quickly.
  10. You aren't missing anything. They're pretty dysfunctional.
  11. If you've been here for around 3 years without any orders, and took your own advice about marketing on social media that didn't work, then why would you want to recommend doing the same thing to someone else?
  12. The updated version of the app has a little note in the level area stating you qualify but manual selection is done based on need within specific categories, and that list gets updated regularly. So, basically, you and I have gigs in categories that Fiverr is not looking to add more Top Rated sellers to.
  13. You can check marketplace profiles just like I did. So, my experience is that descriptions used to matter, but now they don't. If you have Seller Plus and the advanced analytics that come with it, you can do your own experiments, though.
  14. At least you have a social space to help set the stage for off-platform ventures. Change can be scary, but that helps. Tinkering with Fiverr can be kind of addictive, too. I'm sitting here contemplating if I want to create a new gig video or join Hub Spot and venture into uncharted territory.
  15. Well, that was exactly what I was thinking. I already do voice over work, and "Mandy-izing" scripts has become a part of it, but not here--yet. I just have to keep focused on the acting part of the voice over work and I won't get "a)-ed." And apparently women with deeper voices are more valued outside of the US, so that would be where "b)" and direct marketing comes in. Although, I'm in this continuous cycle of improving things on the periphery of my website that connect to it before I actually update my website. Having a venture in the physical world would probably be wise, in terms of "a)." I was thinking about peddling tasers and starting a home brewery. I'm just kidding--kind of. I would probably be growing basil and mushrooms if I had my own land. That isn't the goal, from what I have seen/heard and am too lazy to link to, but who knows how successful that will be. If we're to own nothing then...we'll be using our UBI to rent everything from corporations. Didn't OpenAI just create a robot? I just hope that people will always (know that they) need human connection. It's quite amazing what groups of people can be made to believe they think they know what they want/need, even when it's to their own detriment. I agree! My experience with grant writing and administration showed me that governments--so, corporations--attach all sorts of conditions to receiving funds, and it isn't uncommon for those conditions to be unrelated to the program the funds are sought for. I do not doubt that there would be a great deal of surveillance as well as control over what we do, say, and maybe even think tied to UBI. It's been a while, but, yes. Maybe that's the only part of FAQ sections that people read. They clearly don't read the part about me not offering free custom samples because those inquiries are all that I've been getting for the past two weeks. Needless to say, my conversion rate's sinking. But, back to the voice cloning inquiries, I think a lot of times people asking don't understand that at some point--maybe not so much now--we could be competing against ourselves.
  16. Meanwhile, I was thinking about humanizing ChatGPT scripts for people so that they don't all look/sound identical.
  17. The only thing that I could find in the documentation for order breakdown is "see where your orders originate from and where you can potentially get even more orders." I'm not a Pro seller, but I do have "Fiverr Pro" orders. So, this is confusing me. Or, at least I don't think I'm in the Pro catalog. I received an invitation a while back that I assumed was a glitch in the Matrix and meant for me as a buyer, but now I don't know. Any help would be appreciated.
  18. Did you do a lot of editing to the gig(s) recently? Do you search using terms in your title or tags? I dropped off the face of Fiverr in ads and organic searches for a while but it was hard to tell if it was because our clients generally take time off for holidays, I overhauled some gigs in the downtime, they changed the way our gigs are indexed (or how we're profiled, because I was getting traffic [and orders !] for being a 'race' that I never mention anywhere), maybe I was being reprimanded by the algorithm, or all of the above. The most edited gig was reverted back a couple of months ago, but I'm still not getting the same traffic I was before.
  19. "I'll tie your hands and deprive you of sensory input, just to spice things up." (in reference to the lower visibility in search and therefore means to gain more reviews, as well as a true understanding of what exactly needs to be done by that time to rectify the situation) It's a crazy-making situation. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/counseling-keys/201403/how-handle-crazymaker
  20. It's all fun and games until the lights go out and you can't pay for anything digitally. I've gone two weeks without even being able to get anything out of an ATM before. It's not that I like Paypal, and I'm sorry that you had your account frozen. That's stressful. Did you join a protest somewhere or say something online that the company didn't like?
