  1. Hello! Pleasure to meet new faces and learn more about those I'm already familiar with. My name is Clark, another voice actor. I'm based in the greater Nashville, TN area and when the weather is warm, I'm pretty much out of the office every weekend hiking or paddleboarding our legions of lakes/rivers here in the south. I've technically been on Fiverr since 2018, I think, but didn't start pursuing anything with it until 2021 or so. Just hit TRS in April and looking forward to growing it more. It has definitely been a frustrating experience gaining traction, as I do really well outside of Fiverr, but its getting there! I look forward to getting to know more of you, especially in other categories... and absorbing your knowledge like a sponge. Feed me Seymour!
  2. All great ideas here. A bulk editor for the most commonly shared gig elements would be so incredibly helpful for updating pricing or going on vacation/extending delivery times due to workload. I also think mikecolevocals hit another great point with gig elements like FAQs that also tend to be shared among gigs. Whether editing current gigs or creating new ones, creating the FAQ elements and copy/pasting the information in them for every gig and every time a new gig is created is a time consuming hassle. Great points everyone! Clark Casey clarkcaseyvo
  3. I can certainly see where bethanyvo is coming from with the issues that stem from the private reviews and I do agree with some of the counterarguments presented as well. Vivkieito's suggestion seems like a fantastic solution to a lot of the problems
  4. 100% agreed with both David and Trevor. The 'commercial' term in commercial usage consistently creates confusion with buyers. I know some of us have resorted to just lumping commercial rights in with our base price (and increasing base price accordingly), but that then creates its own set of issues with price visibility vs other talent. A more clear term such as the aforementioned "Business Use" would be incredibly beneficial. With Trevor's comment, this is something I actually brought up to my SellerPlus rep awhile back (who said it was something they are looking into). But mandatory questions regarding use and automatic selection of the appropriate rights associated with that use, would also help to mitigate the buyers who try to 'game' the system and place orders then argue against the usage when you catch them on it. An additional point, to somewhat touch on some of the points newsmike brought up, would be market breakdowns and duration breakdowns for broadcast use. While I think with Fiverr's format and the blanket ownership for sellers outlined in the ToS once the product is delivered would make usage duration difficult if not impossible to implement, I think it at least does deserve consideration. In contrast, allowing distinct rates to be set for market usage (local, regional, national, worldwide) would allow us to fine tune our rates and more directly target rates that are somewhat more in line with industry standards without pricing ourselves out of competition with base prices or a single Broadcast Rights option. 5. Periodically refreshing the Dashboard should keep you Online, also having the Fiverr app installed on your phone tends to also keep you online all the time.
  6. Absolutely! As someone already gave a great response on how to do so, I'll leave a bit of different advice. While you CAN change it, do you necessarily need to? A way to evaluate that is by looking at your Analytics for that particular gig. Impressions are a good indicator of your gig settings like keywords, descriptions, etc and how those are working together to place you in the search algorithm. Clicks tend to be a good indicator of the.. draw of your gig image itself. How much you stand out from the horde. What percentage of click-through-rate (CTR) is 'good' is going to depend on your category and/or for you to decide based on your short and long term goals. But, of course, in general--the higher the better. I'd personally say try to aim for a CTR that is better than 60+% of other sellers in your subcategory. Lower than that is a pretty solid indicator that maybe the gig image needs to be improved!
