  1. wow that's super super interesting. thank you!!!!
  2. also your suggestions are completely right, i have thought this for many years
  3. Also one thing I'd say is - it's not all its cracked up to be. It's validating for sure, but look at your clients, earnings and orders. TRS isn't going to dramatically impact this - and you can be very grateful (as im sure you are) for your success on Fiverr. It can definitely be frustrating, but it really isn't the most important thing - people will go to your gig because of your brilliant reviews and number of orders - not because of your level. For example, if a new person comes to fiverr, they don't really know what Level 1/2/TRS means, they just place orders based off portfolio and reviews!
  4. Ouch! That's very unlucky. I don't know what to say! EDIT: turns out i did
  5. Ok! It's also a little confusing that it says "no human input" - because surely the prompts that you enter should class as "human imput"? Anyway, super interesting thank you for sharing!
  6. That's hilarious - so....no one has the rights to AI-generated work technically? Is it the same globally ??
  7. Animators on Fiverr - how has AI impacted you? Fiverr embraces AI-generated content, providing you have all the rights to use the content - and definitely not fake stuff! Animators: 1. are you using AI in your work? 2. has AI negatively impacted your work?
  8. I can only apologise. This is horrendous. Only thing to do is just ask customer service to cancel the order for you - you won't get any money but you also shouldn't get a cancellation against your account.
  9. "I'll give you lots of work" - don't believe a word of it! Have you ever had that message from a client saying "work on my project for cheaper, because I'll give you lots of orders in the future". It's very easy to fall into this trap. It sounds great - the client is promising consistent work, and they want a discount because they're promising further work. However, it almost never happens. The best piece of advice I ever saw was that - "why should I discount the first order, just because you are going to place further orders...?" They suggested the following advice: "charge the first order at your normal price, then the next order 5% discount, then the next order 10% discount". That way, you're both winning! What do you think?
  10. What's the weirdest, most unique request you've ever had from a client? Have you ever had to turn down a project because it was too...."weird" and didn't align with Fiverr's community standards?
  11. What tools or software do you use to streamline your Fiverr workflow, and would you recommend them to other sellers? Do you use AI, do you use and special software to help you streamline your workflow or speed up your process??
  12. That's fair - I guess it's just scary when customer support contact me! I worry about getting warnings etc., when actually I'm not in the wrong! You're right though - probably not a necessary feature.
  13. Haha - great points. I think my purpose was that if the client had any issues with the order, it might look like I've just been trying to avoid them!
  14. The post was just a bit of fun - every order gets treated the same.
  15. You can currently block users entirely. However, you can’t block specific users from placing orders. I have had some HORROR clients, that I would like to prevent from ordering with me ever again. However, I wouldn’t want to block them entirely as I don’t want to cut off their communication to me. Therefore, I suggest that you have an option to prevent a user from ordering with you again, without fully blocking them.
  16. I don't think it's fair. Fiverr holds funds as a middleman, meaning the client can get money back if there is a dispute. A partial payment just puts too much power in the buyer's hand - and can result in the buyer holding the seller ransom for their work.
  17. Hey mate - to be on the safe side, never click links in Fiverr messages. There's no real reason that you should need to receive links from a client. I suppose, when the client places an order they might attach some links - but this is already less risky as you know they're a legit client. Fiverr lists some information about links that are allowed in Gigs/messages, check them out here: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011421218-Gig-policies They are: ammyy.com blogspot.com flickr.com mixcloud.com reverbnation.com soundcloud.com spotify.com teamviewer.com tumblr.com vimeo.com wetransfer.com wikipedia.org youtube.com
  18. Who's the most famous person that you've done a Fiverr order for? I haven't had toooo many famous people - other than some big record labels like Universal. I want to know - are there any celebrities buying on Fiverr?
  19. No shame in that!! 💛 Any particular revenue goals?
  20. A question for sellers: What do you want to get out of Fiverr - whats your goal? When I started Fiverr, I just put up a Gig to see what happened. That was 2019 - the year is 2023 and it's been a 4-year whirlwind. Whether you're new to Fiverr, or have been selling for a long time - what's your goal with Fiverr in terms of revenue, orders and career?
  21. I made a Fiverr account about 5 years ago to use as a buyer. A year or so later, I decided to set up my own Gig, just to see if it would work... A few years later, I'm now a Top Rated Seller - and I absolutely love the Fiverr platform. BUT - I'm stuck with the username I made about 5 years ago!! It would be amazing if I could change my username - perhaps this would be a feature only available to a certain seller level? Let me know what you think?
  22. If Fiverr is your only job - how do you structure your work day? Do you work set hours, like 9-5 - or do you just complete orders as you get them? I'm interested to hear!!
  23. Hey guys! What tips & tricks do you use to focus whilst doing lots of Fiverr orders? Is it coffee, music... let's hear it!
