  1. I don't understand, my best performing gig financially has a success score of 6, and my others (1 reasonably active the other with literally 1 order) have a score of 8, and I have only had 2 order cancellations, both of which were not my fault and CS resolved them, yet "conflict free delivery" appears to be what's dragging it down (does this include revisions and extended delivery times that the buyer is happy with and has agreed to with no problem?). It's so confusing... I don't know what to suggest, but surely if a gig is repeatedly bringing in revenue and getting solid reviews, it shouldn't be the lowest scoring one...? All in all, i think the system still needs ironing out some errors and I personally wouldn't stress too much about the score. I would hope that potential buyers would look at my reviews and previous work to see if I'm worth working with, not the arbitrary level, i've stopped worrying about it 😁
  2. Personally I believe having an open dialogue between buyer and seller, with revisions, is a key part of the collaborative process. The buyer might initially say the want a voiceover to be delivered in a certain style, send your first delivery to their client, who decides they want it to sound deeper/faster/more or less [adjective]. You cant provide hundred of takes of whole deliveries in your initial delivery just to avoid revisions, which could bamboozle a buyer. Also, life happens. Sometimes a seller needs to extend the delivery. Honestly, if a buyer has said ok and you have a good communication record with them throughout the process, if I, as a VO, have a cold, I don't think it's wise to record audio that is substandard, I would explain to the buyer I am ill and will deliver a few days later than expected because of my illness and recovery. If both parties are in agreement and have an understanding and expectation of new delivery date, why on earth should this be a problem?
  3. Not a fan of the new system. I don't understand how my scores have been calculated - my best performing gig has the worst score (a 6) and it's bringing me down to level 1. And yet I don't understand how the score has been calculated in the first place. If I knew what went wrong specifically I could do something about it, but this doesn't seem very fair. It's like driving in the dark.
