  1. I've had a similar problem with some of my gigs being visible to me (not all). - Can you find your gig if you are logged out/on another profile? - Are your promoted gigs turned on? When I queried why 2 of my gigs were not appearing to me (even if I filter everything, not searching. It is as though I do not exist on the platform in those categories), CS said it is because I have my promoted gigs turned on and promotions will not work on me. I pointed out that promoted gigs are turned on on my other gigs and they appear fine, and if I turn promotions off the gigs do not appear. Additionally, promotions work by pushing your gigs to the top of the page/to the first page, your gig shouldn't dissappear if they aren't on. But this was a back and forth that took so much time to continuously explain to CS, who kept changing agents who wouldn't read the thread and I would have to keep repeating myself and they would purposefully misunderstand because they clearly didn't want to admit there was a problem, that I just gave up.
  2. Very possible... I haven't had a buyer convert to normal from being "promoted" but it could be an appearance error as my account is fraught with appearance bugs. In any case, $100 for every $1 sounds pretty worthwhile. I was making maybe $5 for every $1 spent before I turned the caps waaay down.
  3. My issue with promotions is the way the system reflects. I have earnings from repeat buyers who I received through promotions literally years ago reflect in the sales amount data, which is not an accurate depiction of the ROI. In other words, every single sale from a buyer who you've received through promotions reflects as sales on the promoted gigs page, despite them being repeat buyers for YEARS. I've also had situations where repeat buyers happened to click on a promoted gig after buying from me multiple times, thus turning that buyer's sales into promoted sales. I should probably take the time to see how much I am actually earning from new sales from the promotions function, as looking at the stats the way Fiverr has depicted them is inherently flawed to make you think you are directly earning from the money you put into promotions each month, where that is really not the case.
  4. There is no real solution here where you come off unscathed. You can either cave, and continue to give free work for the rest of eternity, or you can stand up for yourself. If I have a problematic buyer that is clearly just taking advantage, I hold my ground and remind them that the order comes with x amount of revisions, after that they have to pay per revision. I normally just send an offer for the revision and then redeliver if they don't want to take it. Unfortunately, you can't protect yourself against buyers like these as Fiverr doesn't help much, you just have to brace for impact with the reviews and whatever effect their negative feedback will have on your profile. Reach out to CS again, and continue to redeliver if he keeps asking for unpaid revisions. In the future, try to screen as much as you can. The more thorough and detailed your consult is and your requirements are, the more you cover yourself. Try not to ever work with a buyer that's obviously using Google translate, or have extremely bad communication off the bat. And, if my gut ever gives me a weird feeling, I've learned to trust and rather forego the work or cancel the order as soon as possible. I've learned through dealing with buyers like these that that's really all you can do
  5. What does he want done in his revisions/what is his reason for revising? Are you saying you haven't even delivered anything yet? How is he asking for revisions?
  6. It is absolutely a guessing game right now... maybe you got negative private feedback that adjusted your score? Who knows.
  7. I asked CS about this and they said that there is a "strong positive impact" option that scores above "positive impact". They also said that your gig's score is generated by comparing it to other similar gigs from other sellers. When I asked how exactly the score is calculated they said that they "can't disclose". Gotta love the transparency
  8. This is why I can't trust the statistics on the promoted gigs page. I have buyers that have been repeatedly buying from me for years but they are still marked as "promoted" and all my earnings from them, years later, are still reflected on my promotions page as if my spending on promotions for this month directly impacted my revenue from them. I've suspected that I'm making hardly enough from new buyers from promotions to cover my promotional spending each month (on avg I'm spending $250-$300 on promotions each month which is an absolutely wild amount for me)
  9. "Radical level of transparency" - I asked CS "in the spirit of transparency" how the gig success scores are calculated. This was my response:
  10. Completely true. Every new system that they introduce is full of bugs. My earnings page has looked like this since the new earnings page was introduced and I'm just gaslighted by CS "we assure you nothing's happening to your money". And, my stats are always weirdly off, so hearing that the app has something to do with it makes a lot of sense
