  1. Yes, he was very helpful. I only had one meeting with him, but he did provide me with some valuable instructions. He asked me to fully revamp my profile. Including the gigs. He commented that my profile wasn't professional enough. He asked me to adjust my services to stay competitive from the rest. For example, reduce the delivery dates, add more extras, change gig images, use a similar theme for all the gigs, keep the gig descriptions short and to the point, complete relevant skill tests, and maintain the response time under 2 hours. Those were his feedback on our first and last session.
  2. My experience was awful. I mean the features and the success manager was very good. But, I almost lost my gig, so I unsubcribed from it. There was no need for me to buy that service. My gig was performing really good. It was a 'Fiverr's choice' gig. First gig in the first page. But, I was really curious to find out what difference will happen from the seller plus program. So, I bought it. The next day mn gig started going down and eventually disappeared from the first 10 pages. After two months I unsubcribed from that service, now after a lot of struggle I have my gig back up. 😂
  3. It's not available for the services you buy from other sellers. This promotion is valid only when you spent $40 buying a subscription service (eg. The seller plus program), or a course that Fiverr offers.
  4. I think it doesn't matter how many gigs are best selling. Whether, you have one or two, you get the promotion every time you spend $40.
  5. Absolutely❤! Here's why 👉 https://fb.watch/dDcPuxF2_2/ Your point is clear. Both parties are to blame. Considering the vast majority, not many people live a fruitful life. There are so many rural villages in Sri Lanka, where people don't even who the president is. Not everyone has the same level of education or understanding of politics. As I see it, many are helpless and hopeless. They are blinded by the desire to fulfil the needs and wants in life that they struggle to find every day. They settle for less, they fall for lies, and these vulnerable people can't see what difference a simple vote would make. Politicians have mastered the art of taking advantage of the vulnerabilities of people. Making people aware of what should be done in future is what matters now. Definitely, not an easy task. Each one should be addressed in a way that they understand. Plus, unknowingness doesn't make them stupid or silly. Of course, there are some bad nuts here and there. However, categorising 'an average Sri Lankan' as silly or idiotic over an election vote is not something I agree with. That 'average Sri Lankan' can be a great father, an incredible mother, an irreplaceable employee, or a wonderful human being. They all matter. Because only they can put an end to this. Whatever the status is, whatever the education level is, wherever they come from, we should stick together, look after each other, and stand up for one another as our national anthem says, එක මවකගේ දරු කැල! (As children of one mother) We all learned some valuable lessons during these difficult times. Let's make sure that we don't make the same mistakes ever again and do what it takes to overcome this challenge. Having seen so many young people losing their jobs, lives, and dreams, worrying about being unable to provide for their families, having to drop their degrees as they are unable to pay, struggling to buy the daily essentials, and having to sacrifice the best time of their lives, I feel so sorry about all of us. We can not turn back what has happened. However, no one deserves to live a life like that. Let's stop blaming each other and patiently figure out a way out of this misery. Sri Lanka will rise again! ❤🇱🇰
  6. That's true. Majority of politicians doesn't encourage this action, because they don't get massive commissions from it. It's the sad reality.
  7. Your kind words are very much appreciated. Thanks a lot ❤️ Thank for these kind words and blessings ❤️ Let's be hopeful and stay positive ❤️ We are facing a severe shortage of fuel, people have to stand in hours and hours to get some fuel. That is also limited, sometimes we stay in a que for many hours and return empty handed as the fuel ran out. So, generators, not an option. You are 100% correct. It's a mess, and we can't predict what will happen next. Even the foreign countries have declined Sri Lankan work and student visas due to the massive debts.
  8. A message to fellow community members, For those who don't know Sri Lanka, it is a country that one is lucky to be born in. An island circled by pristine beaches🏖️, white sands, and land that is brimming with greenery🌴 and a place where you'll find the most generous human beings👩🧑. Unfortunately, due to corrupted politicians, Sri Lanka has come to a state where people are suffering to carry on with their lives. It is with so much pain that I leave this note😔, and I want to raise awareness of this matter among the Fiverr community. In short, as a result of the financial crisis, Sri Lanka is going through a chronic stage of foreign currency shortages, inflation, constant power cuts, and severe shortages of medicine, fuel, and other basic goods. Due to inflation, the cost of living is extremely high. Food prices are skyrocketing. Power failures are affecting office workers and remote workers. Generators are also not an option due to fuel shortages. People are stressed, and their lives are filled with uncertainty and great fear about what the future holds😟. The point that I'm trying to make: Above things are just a glimpse of what's happening in our lives. A year ago, I joined Fiverr, and now it has become my full-time job. I know that there are many talented Sri Lankans on Fiverr who make a living out of it. When I say this, I speak for all my people. If you are a buyer who has worked with a Sri Lankan seller before, are currently working with one or wish to work with one in the near future, this is a time we really need your orders🙏. You may not have any idea how much it means to us. Many sellers are failing to deliver their orders due to regular power cuts. So, please be patient with your seller. They are trying their best to provide you with exceptional service. Please be kind enough to communicate with the seller about the delivery time before placing the order, as they may need to extend it. Your flexibility is invaluable to the Sri Lankan sellers at the moment. Whenever you are going to purchase a service on Fiverr, you can find a talented seller from Sri Lanka and give them a try. That way, not only will you get your work done, but also you'll be helping a vulnerable individual who is struggling to make a living🥺. Finally, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for taking your valuable time to hear me out. Help us make a contribution to the economy of our country and survive in these difficult times using our skills! Pray for Sri Lanka!
  9. Thanks for your reply. I spent $58 on purchasing Fiverr seller plus services. Then I noticed that I've received $10. It says Fiverr promotion, you can't withdraw it. May be we can use it to buy more services. I searched a little about that promotion and it says when you spend $40, you get $10 back. I don't know much about it.
  10. Hey guys! Have you received the Fiverr promotion of $10, after spending $40? How did you guys spend that money? Share your responses on how you utilize that money to improve your Fiverr profile even more. Many thanks, Anjalika
  11. Hey, I think you will be best person to get some feedback and ways to improve clicks and impression on my profile.
