  1. That is a fantastic idea - to set a limit to new account messages that do not have an active gig or payment method set. As I am writing this reply, I have received my fourth spam message for the day... (sigh)
  2. Hi fellow Freelancers! Are there any other Fiverr users that are seeing an increasing amount of spam messages? I am getting anything from 2 to 5 spam messages per day from seemingly new users who don't know how to use the platform. I have contacted support about this and it was said that if I report these messages, it counts as a response and will therefore not affect my response rate. However, my response rate has now fallen from a constant 96% to 83%. I respond to ALL my messages in a timely manner and am very diligent about this. I even went over all my messages to ensure I didn't miss anything. I know how the response rate system works so it truly does not make sense why my response rate would plummet like that unless the spam messages are to blame. I would like to find out if anyone is having the same issue since contacting support was not able to provide answers. Regards
  3. I would like to know who has opted in for the order briefs and what your thoughts are regarding the option. At this stage, I find the order brief option to be irrelevant to the services I offer. It would be great if we could have more options to fine-tune the order briefs section. You can adjust the setting to receive briefs from a certain rate but even with that adjusted, the briefs usually have a ridiculous amount of work attached to them with a budget that does not suffice applying for the project. Any thoughts or suggestions?
  4. Hi Texvox! I really love your idea! I am promoting my gigs with an auto cap as Fiverr recommends but I feel that the amount spent monthly overrides the sales generated from those promotions by a long shot. Also, it would be great if we have Q&A session on Zoom so sellers can ask questions and get insight to get the best out of their promoted gig settings.
  5. Good day fellow fiction ghosties! With Fiverr giving us an exclusive forum to help each other excel, I thought it might be a good idea to call all fiction ghostwriters to this thread where we can connect, exchange tips, tricks and answer each other's queries. Because, let's face it, ghostwriting fiction comes with its own set of frustrations and learning curves. So, to introduce myself: I am a full-time fiction ghostwriter from sunny South Africa and have been part of Fiverr since 2014. Being a Top Rated Seller, I am looking for tips to get more sales. Currently, I am: Promoting my gigs on the Fiverr website Regularly sharing my gigs on social media Opted in for receiving order briefs Any additional suggestions are welcome! I am looking forward to connecting with you and exchanging ideas! Regards Ansie
