Starting from today - Now all sellers will be able to use the subscription feature for their satisfied returning buyers. If you think everything perfect from your end according to buyer's requirement and as he approved, I suggest you to contact fiverr support, explain everything, share screenshots that buyer approved. Fiverr support team will help you. However, it's your business so you can decline the cancelation and support will not make any issue. Feel safe and free to contact Fiverr support.
  5. There is no reason to deposit to buyer for guarantee. Also, Fiverr never encourage to follow this. I can say that your buyer is trying to scam you.
  6. It's usual that sometimes customers don't respond in different scenario or confirmation about the requirements when freelancer come up with a question with the initial requirement. If a freelancer initiate a partial delivery/false delivery, then when a customer report it, freelancer get a warning for that as well. So Fiverr make it better to support freelancers by reverting it with the time extension. And time extension doesn't apply automatically. So as long as the customer is happy with extension, then there shouldn't be any penalty. So it's all about discussion!
  7. I'm sure. I got the official information, tested by myself. So when you miss your first deadline, order status could be late but it will not affect your delivery on-time metrics. The wise choice to extend the time and the order will get back to the in progress status. Then you should initiate delivery. Means when the order status is late and you initiate the delivery, only that time your delivery on-time metrics affected. However, late status in revision doesn't affect it.
  8. Also, please note that, if you missed a deadline, don't initiate delivery when it's in late status. Discuss with your customer and extend the deadline then initiate delivery. So missing a deadline is not the reason of delivery on-time drops. Initiating the first delivery when the order in late status is actually calculated. So extend deadline first, then initiate delivery.

  19. I had same experience for once. And I let the customer go away as that 5.5% is nothing related to the deal between a freelancer and a customer. That's mostly a charge related to using the platform service. Freelancers already deal with Fiverr 20% and same way customers had to deal with fiverr with their 5/5.5% charge. I believe when a customer ask to cover that fees by freelancer, it means more critical situation coming along with the project soon from the customer.

  22. @theratypist @cpettyss I am happy to let you know that, Fiverr is working on to avail the video calling option for all users within the message before placing an order. It's in trial stage now and will be available to all soon.
  23. complete more orders and let your customer rate on your project by themselves. Never ask for review or ratings. If so, you will get warning from fiverr.
