, I just came home and I have to turn on my laptop so I can open the new order on desktop as well because if I wait until tomorrow I will get that stupid REVIEW THE REQUIREMENTS NOW email that has apparently been messing with my SS.

Ive discovered it will recognize you’ve looked at requirements if you review requirements thru the new order email notification (because you’re viewing in desktop mode from your phone email)

Requirements need to be viewed in desktop mode on whatever device to register they’ve been viewed.

Can you please clarify if the score system itself deducts points for revisions and time extensions- or if it is a buyer that could possibly rate poorly due to revisions and extensions?

If the buyer doesn’t like the fact that there were revisions and or extensions- and rate us lower because of that- then ok fine. That’s their perception of their satisfaction.

HOWEVER- if the score system is automatically dinging us for each revision or extension- then that is completely different. That is literally like putting a thumb on the scale of the satisfaction rating and a completely inaccurate way of determining buyer satisfaction!

Please trust buyers actual satisfaction responses and let buyers and sellers do business freely with revisions and extensions as a normal/necessary part of any business transaction. (Because it is)

As has been said multiple times- many buyers need revisions or extensions due to their side of the transaction. It is completely wrong to AUTOMATICALLY score a seller lower due to revisions and extensions.

So could you please clarify that it is ONLY an actual buyer score that could be effected and NOT an automatic ding?

AND IF IT IS AN AUTOMATIC DING- please consider changing that aspect of the scoring policy.

Thanks for trying to build a better platform- and thanks for attempting to listen to freelancers with boots on the ground 😊

I definitely like knowing my score and where I stand performance-wise within the marketplace- but from what I’m reading, a lot of sellers are mistakenly being given poor success scores due to random things that are beyond their control.

For instance- there is a long standing bug that if you only review requirements and respond to the order within the app- and do not review order requirements in desktop mode- you will get a reminder email to review the requirements- which is apparently now affecting the communication score.

But many have no idea this bug exists- and in my own question to CS about it- I was told not to worry about it. There may be many other things as well.

Possibly starting everyone out with a detailed report of how they are currently doing (similar to the year end report that is given) detailing where they excel, and where they can improve, etc- but give a “clean slate” and score of 10 to ALL sellers with a 60 day rolling evaluation for all actions moving forward would make it more fair, reasonable and encouraging for all sellers across the board.

It gives all sellers an opportunity to build on their successes, and work on areas that may need improvement with a fresh start.

Additionally, openly listing each item we are dinged for (revisions should not be one of them due to clients often changing scope- and value for money should be re- worded) would help us all understand how to perform to the best of our ability- which is a win for buyers, sellers and Fiverr.

Thanks for listening to us all😊

I used this feature recently as I had to take a break from my work. I took a break for around 21 days as a treat to myself and I visited abroad and explored different places and things outside of my work. Then when I came back to work and turned the vacation mode off, everything seemed normal to me. New buyers started to knock again and I didn't feel any difference due to my vacation.

I really appreciate Fiverr for having this vacation mode option which works really great for the freelancers. This option actually gave me a very positive feeling of being a freelancer rather than being a 9 to 5 job holder.

This had been my same experience each time I’ve gone into “unavailable” mode- but I’m glad they are saying they have given it some refreshing and more stability.

As far as the 30 in 120 days as a max amount to be unavailable before changes may happen- it seems pretty reasonable I think.

There are of course extenuating circumstances where you’d need to be away longer- but then it’s possibly sort of expected to have that affect things and need to build back somewhat.

According to the Pro page, gigs with a lower price tag should not be Pro branded, only the sellers profile would be.

@smashradioYes- but can non pro branded gigs offered from a pro branded seller appear in the pro catalog at an under $100 price point? I didn't see that explained in the info and for the last few weeks, newly pro branded sellers WITHOUT pro branded gigs above $100 were appearing on Fiverr business as "pro verified".  I wondered if this would remain the same or change to ONLY +$100 gigs able to appear on Fiverr Pro.

But at least they haven't lowered the minimum price for Pro gigs (still 100), so that's great.

@Shiran.M Do you know if the gigs need to be PRO gigs (over $100) to appear on Fiverr Pro?  During the last few weeks after the first Pro 2.0 roll out- as long as the seller themselves had a PRO profile, their under $100 gigs were still showing up in search as Pro Verified in the Fiverr Pro Catalog- do you know if that will change to only $100 PRO gigs or stay the same?

  7. I’d like to see:

-the ability to customize the dates you want sales data for similar to promoted gigs but for overall sales. Such as- what did I make this day or week last year.

-what keywords are resulting in messages. Don’t know if this one is possible. Currently we can only see what gig it relates to but it would be nice to receive the keyword used to find you and message you.

-ability to schedule your auto message and maybe have more than one.

  8. @uk1000 Yes- that came up with 2 results for of the same seller - it’s likely because the sellers standard package is above $100 but the basic is $70 and it may only take your standard price to be over $100 for the gig to qualify?

it may also be that some have accidentally slipped through the vetting due the standard price being over $100

Fiverr might fix that and change that to $100 minimum for basic package starting price.

But- as my seller plus manager tells me.. all shall be revealed eventually 🫣

I attached a screenshot proving that there's a $70 Pro gig on Fiverr so that $100 min must be inaccurate currently.

I went to the search your screen shot indicated- (writing and translation/book editing) and did not find any gigs with a PRO badge on the front of the picture listed under $100. Regardless- it will be interesting to see how this all plays out 😊

They are accepting more sellers yes. I saw a seller selling entire marketing strategy for 20$ getting the Pro vetted badge in one of my categories. The prices will go further down as more "professionals" are getting in.

There are currently NO gigs priced under $100 with a PRO badge on the front of them. The sellers themselves may have PRO status- which means they can have both an under $100 gig with no badge and an above $100 PRO gig with the badge showing.

just spoke to a VO seller (TRS) who got Pro oted to Pro without applying. He said he didnt have to charge a minimum of 100. So they're clearly lowering (or removing) that requirement.

So far, NO gig under $100 has a pro badge.  A seller who does not have $100 gigs but was promoted to pro has pro on their profile but still does not have an under $100 gig with a badge.

just had a look around my category and there a few new Pro sellers with 40-50$ gigs.

Currently- I don’t think any gig under $100 has the actual pro badge on the gig. Only that the seller is pro verified in their profile.

Very possible! I just hope they don't accidentally set it up where those lower priced gigs show up on a Pro search. That would be an unfair competition situation.

I agree! I hope that doesn’t change- the pro toggle should only show badged gigs

  14. Maybe they have decided to have some sellers that meet their criteria be “pro” verified and have the choice to have $100 price points on gigs with the badge that focus on Fiverr Business and if they want to have a lower starting price gig with no badge in the same subcategory they can?

That would still keep the integrity of the pro prices and badges while also letting lower package shoppers know that this seller is verified.

Particularly as Pro is now being awarded to some top sellers without them having to apply for it.

This happened to me today and a few other sellers I know of also. I’m thrilled to now be PRO but definitely curious what this all means

  16. I agree completely! 3 of mine have been turned to “pending” with an email saying they need more information. They are Fiverr orders with the order number included! What is really strange is that the ones that were accepted had the company name within the script and that script was pasted in the requirements instead of being in a file.  After talking with CS they asked me to upload supporting docs via Google drive or similar.

Are they not able to open files in our requirements to verify the company? Hopefully they fine tune this outsourcing task because as @e_benincasa said - it only benefits Fiverr to have more vetted client clout among its freelancers. There are SO MANY big name/Fortune 500 companies that subcontract smaller businesses for this VO work and that is a great marketing avenue for Fiverr!

    • 1) Yes, I'm satisfied with the delivery, 2) This order could've been better, but I approve the delivery, 3) I'm not ready yet
    • The first option could automatically give the buyer 5 stars (privately).
    • The second option could give the buyer an option to choose the star amount on a slider scale (also privately).
    • This would then make the private reviews mandatory (but very easy to do).

@Yoav.MThank you- this idea above from @vickieito of 3 button options at delivery was really good so I’m reposting 😊

I think it took me a month to train the AI when I first started, after that's it's just ongoing training.

Interesting to think about it as training the AI- and it makes perfect sense!

Does anyone know if the AI takes the comments we can write for the “other” box into consideration? I’ve had to explain why it isn’t a fit a few times (they need more than one person, a different accent, etc.) and I wonder if it’s worthwhile to do so or if I should just click “I don’t offer this service”.

  19. I really like the auto reply for new buyers- it works well and seems to make them feel acknowledged even when I can’t reply to them immediately. A way that it could possibly be even better would be to have multiple message options.  For instance, one for during the day and one at night to create better expectations of when I will get back to them.

A preset automatic schedule for each message would be great also!

But it's clear that any bad review will have a MAJOR impact on your business, and it can haunt for a long time.

That’s why I every time I speak to my seller plus manager I campaign for somehow implementing a (quick and easy) mandatory private review system.  Most satisfied buyers simply don’t follow up with the private feedback- and your seller plus managers suggestion of contacting recent buyers and asking them to leave a private review is not a good solution. My manager’s most recent response was that they are constantly looking for ways to improve…so maybe there is hope they will come up with something that works better.
