  1. Based on fiverr help article: Link: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413134063633-Using-My-Portfolio#h_01GFNC9KYTE494ZFY26JD7150K
  2. Hey, His gig seems to be in the category: Programming & Tech Game Development Full Game Creation Same as mine, and yet I don't see the option to add "How it works?"
  3. Look around where? This system is bugged, I haven't made any changes only kept pressing "save" and after 10 times it happened I no longer get the notification. So there was nothing wrong apparently.
  4. Hey, I've noticed a gig with a section "How it works"(which is not a description). How can I add it to my own gigs? The gig where I found it: https://www.fiverr.com/attishno1/design-your-game-and-create-a-gdd Can someone tell me how I can add this to my own gigs?
  5. The problem with gigs is that people can create an offer directly without your consent, I'd rather avoid having to cancel it due to not knowing what a buyer expects when they read "includes animation"
  6. Hey, As the title says, in my game dev gig I have an option to "Include animation" which says "You will animate the game." What does it stand for exactly? Does it mean that I will draw art + animate or do I just animate using a game engine(or by other means) by using the art I get from the buyer?
  7. Fiverr did not suggest any price change specifically, it is a vague message that doesn't help me as it could mean a lot of things and I have no clue when the system will be satisfied.
  8. Hey, I keep getting this message for some of my gigs. How do I update the pricing factors? What does that even mean? Nothing I change seem to fix this issue.
  9. Same issue, I assume it is for specific categories only.
  10. You are right, I don't know. Just checked and my posts were also removed by reddit spam filter without giving me any notification. No wonder I got nothing out of reddit. I can suggest DISCORD servers then, those work best. On reddit, I would guess not using links, just account name maybe. Or none, just wait for a DM on reddit and then give them fiverr link. You can talk about the job before you give them any link. Fiverr is a way for them to pay you after all.
  11. The same as always. Good thumbnail, description, title. Set of skills that are needed. Go through discords/reddit etc and post your job offer with fiverr link on various job boards. Don't spam job boards and follow their rules of posting(they usually have a section "for-hire")
  12. Edit your gigs to "refresh" them...you will start getting more impressions and maybe clicks. To get more clicks, make your thumbnail look good. Do some research, go to a buyers account and search for what you are doing, look at what other people have in their thumbnails etc.
  13. Hey, I am just curious. What are the requirements to be eligible for the seller plus?
  14. You edit the gig in the place where you create it I think. Then just change the description a bit or the title, update the thumbnail maybe. Well, the problem with competitors is that everyone is trying to undercut everyone else. When I need a website or something, I avoid $5 gigs, because I know that I won't get much out of it. But it's up to you.
  15. Try to increase gig price to $15 or $30... Also update your gig once in a while, fiverr has a hidden game mechanic which requires you to update gigs once in a while to keep them "alive". Lastly check your analytics, do you get any impressions?(If you are ranked on the 1st page then you should be getting quite a lot of impressions)
  16. Your main post definitely covers a lot of good points. Most of the time people should go with their gut feel. If the work seems too easy for the money(or the opposite) then it might be a scam. If they offer too many "benefits" then I would be suspicious. If they need "time" to figure out if they can afford you, even tho your offer was something like $100...then you are talking to someone that has an issue spending $100 which is a red flag to me. (not very good long term, but not necessarily a scam) Simplest rules in the whole world: Nothing is free, so don't work for free. If it seems too good to be true, then it's 99% fake.
  17. This seems so wrong... Don't go low budget, just go for what you are worth. If you want "low budget" then create a gig for something simple that doesn't require much work. Don't undervalue yourself just because you are "new", this is why scammers go after new sellers. It's not like you were born yesterday, you might be new on fiverr, but you came here with some skills to sell, that means you are not new, but you have experience in your field.
  18. This might apply in many cases, but not all. Nothing is that simple and obvious. I had similar messages and have been working for 3+ years. When someone promises a lot of work/more work in the future, that simply means they might have more projects that needs work. Doesn't mean you should work for free/cheap just because of that tho... Just do your work as usual and get paid. If they like it, they will come back.
  19. When I had a bad time on fiverr. I would say something like: "It's ok..." and simply not leave a review. So I wasn't satisfied with other peoples work, but didn't want to make it hard on them since it seemed like fiverr might be their main income. So the buyer in your case, probably didn't want to bother explaining/talking any further as he saw no chance of it being better and just ended the conversation. Or maybe he didn't feel good about paying $5 or $10 and expecting more. I personally avoid giving bad reviews unless the other person did something nasty... And if I didn't like the work then I just don't give any reviews.
  20. I will also add that I've seen a lot of "experts" on fiverr. When I tried to order something from them, NONE was able to do a simple scripting job for excel/google sheets. If i had spent a bit of time reading through a documentation, I would have done it... Had to search for someone on discord to get this done instead. Fiverr has tons of "experts" that work for $10, but my experience with them was terrible. They have 5-10 years of experience(apparently), but can't do the simplest of things. Seems like if someone offers such a low price on their gig, that they don't believe in their own skill. Don't offer skills you can't provide is the easiest way to put it, don't say that you are an expert if you are not confident. The word "expert" lost it's meaning after I've seen it on fiverr too many times. I'd rather see examples of your work that will convince me.
  21. I wouldn't delete them, because you lose reviews on those gigs. Just edit the gig, update some description, pricing maybe. Add better thumbnail if possible etc.
  22. Never offer unlimited review/support till satisfaction. You are asking to get eaten by people who will abuse this. "Bring unique in your gig" is easier said than done... Never offer Short delivery time unless it's with extra payment attached(gig extra) Basically, just do your job that you offer on fiverr and don't offer impossible(unlimited review?? How does that even work? You get paid $10 for a gig and you have to be ready to review this gig forever for free?) Don't say that you are "very fast, have unlimited support, money back guarantee" etc... Tbh I am surprised that the "unlimited revision" still exists...How does fiverr even imagine this to work is beyond me.
  23. Update your gigs, apparently it's a hidden thing on fiverr that you need to update gigs so fiverr thinks you are still active...
  24. Never accept work like this. This is ridiculous. I've seen this a lot in Briefs offers where people want an Online Multiplayer game for a browser + mobile for like $30... Tbh those kind of offers should be reported imo, because this is just a scam. If you really need work, then I'd go a bit lower from your usual prices, like 20% lower maybe...but that's the extent of it. Also consider raising your prices, this might actually give you more offers than you think. Even if it seems counter-intuitive, people tend to think that more expensive = better. And make more gigs. Lastly, I don't understand the appeal of using gig thumbnails which use stock photo of random smiling people. Did u consider a thumbnail image which has a wordpress logo + bullet point list of what you can do?
  25. Hey, In this article: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360017140717-Seller-Plusoverview?segment=seller It says: What does it mean (fee included), does that mean that the ability to withdraw money instantly due to having premium costs me extra? So on top of paying for premium I have to pay extra fee to withdraw money faster? I am confused. Anyone can explain? Thanks EDIT: Found this: https://business.fiverr.com/support/articles/4402267122449-Early-Payout Guess it really costs extra to withdraw money earlier 😮 It says that standard fee is 1% Are there non-standard fees? Also it says: It's been a while for me, but that means it only speeds up 1 part of the process, you still have to wait some time to actually withdraw? I don't remember how it's done, is it 1 week for clearance by default + 1 week before you can withdraw?
