  1. Hello @mubashirburfat Welcome to Fiverr and the community. We are happy to have you here with us. This is absolutely normal and part of freelancing. When you are new, sales will be uneven. Some days, you will have so much work that you will find it difficult to cope up with, and some days you won’t have work for a few days straight to maybe a week. As you gain experience and work with clients, sales will stabilize as you will have repeat clients.   3. Hello @emeralddesigns9 Welcome to Fiverr and the community. We are happy to have you here with us. When a client places a order, you’ll get an notification in app/website along with an email. This confirms that client has paid, and you can get started on the project. Once you deliver the work, the client can accept the delivery and the funds will be released to your account. If they don’t accept the delivery, the order will be automatically completed 3 days from the delivery time and funds will be released to you. In case a clients requests a revision, you have to deliver modified work and the same process starts again. Either they accept the delivery, or it will be automatically completed within 3 days. The #1 reason why people don’t succeed on this platform is that they offer a service that is already full of competition. For e.g. Logo design. Is your gig for a service that already has a lot of competition? In that case, chances of you being seen are very less. This is a story of my friend which I recently shared, it should help you a lot if competition is a issue for your gig: Become a blacksmith of your success - #2 by peaksolve When I was getting started, I set up the initial price of my service as $10 and offered value which was a lot more i.e. over-delivering until I had about 15-20 reviews. Then I was able to increase my price with no negative impact on sales, they grew gradually all the time. Being kind and communicative with buyers also helps.   5. Hi @irfabatool I’m sorry to hear about this and would like to share some insights. Can you open an incognito tab and enter in the buyer’s profile URL. For e.g. if the username is ABC, then the URL will be Fiverr.com/ABC If you are able to see the buyer’s profile, then it has not been deactivated. It is just that you are not able to contact the buyer because of what all happened. The Fiverr team should definitely help you in this case. Can you ask them what software or website they used to judge that the content was plagiarised when the buyer complained to them. That way, you can get a report from that particular software and send them to verify. Please keep us updated in this matter. Thanks and regards, Shashant

  8. Hello @glastudios A similar incident happened with my friend who sells Web and Mobile Programming services here on Fiverr. The order was delivered on time and according to the buyer requirements but the client was a little unsatisfied for no reason and wrote a negative review. A week after, a chargeback was filed by the buyer’s bank and Fiverr cancelled the order. The buyer’s review was also removed automatically. When my buddy reached out to support they stated the same thing that work wasn’t delivered as agreed but that’s incorrect. So maybe this is a loophole and some buyers take advantage of it. They place a order, get the delivery and file for a refund from their bank and eventually get their money back. I believe, we should move on and let karma do the work.   9. Hello @omar016408 If you’re getting impressions and clicks but no orders, then you gig has a conversion issue. Meaning that buyers click on your gig but after seeing your images/description or packages, they don’t message or place an order. I had a look at your gig but I’m not technical enough to understand it. My recommendation is that you have a look at your competitors listings and model what is working for them. Maybe you can write a simpler description that helps potential buyers understand what is being offered. Thanks and regards, Shashant
  10. Hello @ahmad_khan It’s great to know that you’re learning more skills. This is crucial to growing your freelance business. Creating more gigs in a category would have no effect on your currently ranked gigs. This only benefits you with cross-gig traffic meaning that a client who orders a WordPress website with you might happen to check your profile and when they see that you also offer React JS services, they may place a order for them too.   11. Hello @lazybot This is highly unlikely and has never happened with me or any of the sellers I know. If Fiverr systems suspect a message as spam, it might not show up in your inbox and would be automatically put in the spam folder. With this client, what might have happened is that the message would have been suspected as spam and was put to spam folder automatically but it was later removed so it shows in your inbox. Nothing to worry about, these type of occurrences are very rare. Regards, Shashant

I recommend that you start at a lower price and gain some reviews after which you can increase your price. Think as a buyer yourself, would you pay someone $450 for a website who has not social proof, i.e. reviews.   13. Hello @tenebres_telrei Thanks for sharing your thoughts, they will help a lot of people. You have emphasized on research and that’s very crucial. If you enter a category that is full of competition, for e.g. graphic design, then chances of you being seen are very less. But they are many sub-categories in graphic design where you can get noticed. I’ll share a story of my friend. He is a graphic designer and wanted to get started with Fiverr. Now, he was able to design logos, postcards etc. He did some research and found that the logo category already has 100,000+ sellers so there is no point in entering it. He knew how to design postcards, so he researched a bit and found out a service that was fairly new at that time. It was designing ‘Thank you cards’ for Amazon sellers. It is basically a postcard that goes inside a product packaging and thanks the buyer for the purchase and asks them for a review. He targeted the keyword ‘amazon thank you card’, and since there was little to no competition, his service was an instant success. Today, he has become a top player in this niche. So, the point is that if your skillset is already full of competition on Fiverr, it does not mean end of the road. There are many sub-categories which have high demand but low competition - it’s just a matter of research. Thanks and regards, Shashant

  16. Why would you want a buyer’s real name? While addressing them, you can just mention ‘Hi there, Hello there’, that works great. I only ask a buyer’s real name or any other personal details when filing a patent or trademark application as it is required to be submitted in the application. Regards, Shashant

Don’t care about your competition spoiling the market with rock bottom prices, that’s the rule of the market. New sellers try to grab a piece of the cake by offering a rock bottom price at start and eventually increase their prices by up to 100% in a year or so.   19. Hello @allisoncruise This is extremely rare and haven’t happened to me or any of the sellers I know. Reading through, I can make out that the order was mark as complete by the buyer. Please note, neither buyers nor sellers can cancel the order by themselves. For a seller to cancel a order, a cancellation request has to be created by visiting ‘resolution section’ on the order page. Once the buyer accepts the request, the order gets cancelled. Similarly, if the buyer wishes to cancel the order, a cancellation request has to be created, and unless you, the seller approves it, the order cannot get cancelled. Their is a exception here. If the order is late 24 hours or more, buyers can cancel the order from their side and it won’t require your approval. So you see, in your case, the order is cancelled by the support team. You can create a support request with Fiverr Customer Support team, and ask them the reason for cancellation.   21. @janeeditor gave some great advice. If you are into graphics, you can show samples of your previous work (with permission from client) or you can make some quick samples to show to prospective buyers. That should be enough. You don’t need to do some preliminary work to prove your competency. Don’t start working on a project, unless you have a order in place. Regards, Shashant
  22. This is exactly what happened to me. All of my gigs were pushed to the last page of search results and I was disqualified from Fiverr Ads. I had no cancellations, no late delivery, no negative feedback, no warnings, nothing. I created a support request with the CS and they emphasized it was gig rotation and search results are personalized to every specific user. They suggested to promote on social media and check the buyer request section. Additionally, they suggested that you can add upto 3 images, a video and .pdf file to showcase your work to potential buyers. They also suggested to deliver great work on time and be responsive to buyers. After hearing this from CS, I realized that I haven’t updated my gig in months and this was bound to happen. I immediately updated my gig and added 3 images, 2 pdf files. I already had a video, but I made another one and uploaded it. I had one or two buyer messages, I responded to them quickly and converted them both into sales. Doing all this, I got a notification after 2-3 days that my gigs were promotable again. I checked my rankings, and they were restored. Best, Shashant
  23. Your perspective is everything. A few months ago, I too used to think of the negatives in the platform and would often get disappointed for the uneven sales. Some days I had too much work and sometimes I had no work for an entire week. But as the time went by, I learnt some valuable lessons and my perspective changed. Uneven sales isn’t a glitch in the platform, it’s a part of freelancing, so get used to it.With Fiverr, you spend majority of your time working on projects rather than bidding on projects. You create your gig once and just need to tweak it only a few times a month.If you really put in the time and efforts in your gig, you’ll do very good.When asked, a wise woman said me - be overly kind, communicative and over-deliver and you’ll succeed on Fiverr. I followed along and have seen significant improvement in my sales and the satisfaction level of clients. My repeat client percentage has gone up significantly and I’m seeing gradual increase in my overall business. Recently, I have also seen a significant increase in competitors offering their services for pennies and creating multiple accounts and gigs for same service, but hey, everybody deserves a chance.
