after completion when I sent delivery he said he couldn't access the file so sent in an attachment as soon as he received the attachments of source files he declined and asked to cancel the order,

When he mentioned that he couldn't access the file, it would have been better to use the "deliver" button instead of sending the files as attachments. Sending attachments for delivery can cause confusion and lead to order cancellations. This is because attachments are mostly used for drafts, edits, or to show examples of work. As a result, I am unsure whether Fiverr's support team will close the order due to the delivery being sent through the attachment section.

  2. I think that most sellers encounter a common issue where buyers purchase the basic package but request additional items, such as source and vector files, as well as high-quality artwork that is typically included in the standard or premium packages. This raises the question of the purpose of the basic package.

  3. Hi everyone,

I hope you're doing well today. I wanted to discuss an issue I'm facing with my inbox response time on Fiverr. Fiverr flagged me for a red flag as my response time was 9 hours, which is not ideal. Here's what happened: at 12:51 a.m., a buyer sent me a message, and my auto-reply was sent in response. However, as it was late at night, I was sleeping and couldn't respond immediately. I replied to the message as soon as I woke up in the morning. I also contacted Fiverr support to explain the situation, but unfortunately, it didn't help.

  4. Hi

Everyone I hope you are all doing well, and having a great day.

I think, instead of the buyer request reopening, Fiverr should send the briefs properly, as I bought seller plus packages, and optimized my gigs according to that. but I realised every time whenever we edit the gigs, impressions drop down faster, and then it takes time to recover, and the loss of "impression and clicks" results in "No Briefs".

Once upon a time there was a guy named Bob. Bob ate some soup at a restaurant and saw lots of people enjoying it. Bob decided that he could make a killing selling soup. So Bob got a space and a hot plate and set about making soup. Now Bob had no idea how to make soup. In fact Bob struggled with Top Ramen. But undeterred, Bob hung a sign up to advertise his soup which read "EXPART SOAP." A couple people came in to buy soap, but Bob gave them soup instead, and then complained when the customers gave him lousy Yelp reviews.

Frustrated by this, Bob posted his woes to social media and his friends were swift with advice.

Axel, his best friend tried the soup and told Bob that the soup tasted like grey water from a washing machine after a load of diapers. He was trying to be nice. It wasn't actually that good. The suggestion was made to improve the recipe and learn how to actually make soup.

Bob's friend Jamal made a different suggestion. He told Bob to just "be patient" and keep doing what he was doing and somehow business would improve.

Hans told Bob that the key to success was simply to remain open 24/7. Hans even suggested a sign that read "OPEN" even when the store was closed.

Phoebe said the big "SOAP" sign was not good enough and suggested that he put a picture of soup in the window to reduce the confusion of the customers looking for soap. So Bob went to an nearby restaurant, took a picture of their soup and placed it in his window. He also removed his portrait from the window and put a photo of Gordon Ramsay in its place.

Pierre, the SEO expert gave Bob advice which said to change the keywords on his website to low competition keywords. So Bob removed Soap and replaced it with "ashtray".

Minsky told Bob that the way to get business would to to pray for success.

So, what happened? With the passage of time, Bob tried all the suggestions. He prayed, he took pictures of soup from even more competitors, he eventually changed his keyword to "please help me", he kept the sign that said OPEN even when he was home sleeping and he remained patient. Yes, he tried every suggestion, except the suggestion that he learn to make good soup.

Nowadays Bob spends most of his time on a park bench, telling anyone who will listen how unfair the Soup game is. He goes on at length about how none of his competitors helped him get business. How he tried all his friend's suggestions even though not one of them has been successful, but most of all how rude Axel was. You see it was Axel who focused on the "Quality of the Product." But that hurt Bob's feelings, plus it sounded like more work as opposed to shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.

    The moral of the story.

    1. Don't take advice from people who are not successful.

    2. If you are not successful, don't offer advice.

    3. Bob should have had smarter friends.

    4. Don't do dumb stuff to fix your gig. Improve your product quality.

p.s. Axel now lives in Switzerland with a beautiful family and drives a Ferrari. Sometimes he chuckles about Bob when he has a bowl of Soup, but it passes quickly.

Great 🙂 It's a best advice for those freelancers who try everything, except learning more and improving.

I'm getting several briefs a day. None of them are for something that I actually offer, but I'm getting them.

Most briefs don't lead to orders anyway.

As for the future, freelancers will either need to figure out how to make gigs that get found in search by buyers (and that convince buyers to place an order), or they will need to find something else to do in their lives.

Agreed, but If we get the briefs we may easily convert them into order with good dealing and according to the buyer's requirements and instructions.

  7. Agreed,

It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently.

In nutshell, Avoid hate speech, always try to deal with "Good Behaviour" that is the basic key to build the good business,

I mean, as a web developer, I am perfectly able to add a shut-down backdoor in case they refuse to pay me.
    now your main page shows:
"I did not pay the developer who built this site"

...good luck finding someone to fix it.

Perhaps I need to start including this.

Exactly, But I think so Fiverr will investigate the case first, then will refund, If the buyer would be right, and got the delivery which wasn't mentioned in the gig description or in the mutual conversation of the discussion.

Not sure whether Fiverr is talking about spending their money on refunds or ours.

There should be equal rights for buyers and sellers both, both are important for the business, If buyers take the work and hit the option I don't like then what will we do?

I also suggested previously that, Fiverr should upgrade the delivery system, such as buyers shall be able to see the delivery check on only fiver's platform but should not be able to download the deliveries,

Once they are satisfied then They should be able to download the deliveries, if they are not satisfied, then they deserve a refund and move on to the right seller.

I don't understand the question?  You mean 'who thinks buyers request should be re-instated' ?

In that case my answer is No.  Business have to evolve, and this is what Fiverr is doing to make itself a competitive marketplace, which is free from spammers and scammers.

People need to embrace the change and accept that buyer briefs are the way forward. Saying that, I haven't used either, and i'm sure that the other L2, TRS and Pro freelancers are all in the same position.  We built our businesses from the bottom up through hard work and tenacity, and not relying on chance that a buyer brief/request comes our way.

I agree with you that "People need to embrace the change and accept that buyer briefs" But in this case, Fiverr should send the briefs on daily basis.
