  1. So, the order stays in purgatory indefinitely? I wish Fiverr would have an order placement expiration date and then delete orders that buyers abandon and refuse to answer the requirements for. Can we block buyers that repeatedly do this?
  2. I've already messaged the buyer, twice. Plus, he has a history or not responding to other sellers and has poor reviews. I'm just wondering how long these incomplete orders stay in our inbox.
  3. Hello Fiverr Community! So I've been on Fiverr for a few years now and I have NEVER had a buyer purchase a gig and then ghost me. Thankfully I have requirements in place that have to be filled out, otherwise the order would be active already. So my question is, what happens to orders that are left incomplete? Does the order simply go away? Or can the buyer come back at the last minute and request content? I'm thinking that I may need to contact support about this buyer. He has some nasty reviews and a history of poor communication. Any insights would be appreciated.
  4. So, I went ahead and withdrew with no problems. Thank goodness!
  5. I'm wondering, has anyone has had any issues depositing their funds via Payoneer?
  6. News outlets say that Payoneer was a depositor with Silicon Valley Bank - which just failed on Friday 03.10.2023. It may be too early to tell what the outcomes will be. Here are 3 articles I found about the situation: Payments players caught in SVB fallout | Payments Dive, Payoneer CEO Comments, Payoneer, Unity Software, BILL disclose exposure to Silicon Valley Bank | Seeking Alpha

  8. The Payoneer issue may have something to do with the Silicon Valley Bank failure that happened Friday.
  9. What does the orange "5" next to the username represent?
  10. Hi @songbirdcottage, Yes, there is and the limit is set to 20x. The buyer will be given the option to choose the amount of multiples during the purchase of your service. If you were going to use it, I would advise to set a low word count and a delivery time which you would feel comfortable working with in case someone ordered the max. gig multiple. For instance, if you set the word count to 500 per gig, the max gig multiple will be 10.000 words. How long will it take you to work on that amount of words, and deliver the order, if someone purchased it? (Always add 1 extra day, just in case). That’s how you’ll set the delivery time. The only way to turn it off is by adding the word-count option (“Add Extra Services”) to all your packages. Gig multiples will only be disabled by setting the word-count option in each package. There’s no other way. If you decided to walk this path, you could either set a higher price for X amount of extra words, or offer less amount of extra words for the same price shown in the package. Any of these should be done in each package. As @vickiespencer, I also charge more on my basic package and less on the other ones. But I only do it with the extra words - not by pricing them higher, but by offering a lower amount of extra words for a set price of $5. Hope this helps you! 🙂 So you’re saying that by adding extra words it prevents “gig multiples”? A recent buyer of mine was able to buy five gigs at once, which gave them 5 times the amount of words, and half the time. Thanks for your feedback.
  11. Hi Vickie. It’s a new buyer and I have no previous rapport with them. I will just finish the order. Thanks so much for the info Imagination.
  12. So on a single gig page (without the tiers) there is no option to order multiples?
  13. That’s good advice. Thanks Marina. Do you think it’s a good idea to mention or set parameters for acceptable gig multiples on the gig page?
  14. Thanks, I may try that. The only problem is that there does not seem to be an upper limit on multiples. A buyer could still order 100 articles, that are due in 6 days. Yikes!
  15. Yes, I read that thread. Thank you. I was wondering if this has ever been fixed. It’s just not fair to my regular buyers. One buyer should not be able to monopolize the time of sellers.
  16. Source: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360010452397-Glossary-of-Terms Thanks for your reply. I’m also wondering what the ceiling/limit is. Can a buyer theoretically order 400 gigs, with no time extension??
  17. I have new buyer that purchased multiple orders all at once and it only counts as one order in the que. I did not even know this was an option. I have other orders in que already. The problem with this is that buyers can take advantage. On my 3 tiered gig I offer a smaller gig for five dollars, but the other tiers are more per word. Buyers can cut the order delivery time down and also the price per word by ordering multiples of the lower tier. For now all I can do is raise my prices. Please please, does anyone know how to turn this “multiples feature” off to buyers?
