  1. Here is a screenshot of my experience below 👇 I was lucky enough to get one person that had many orders for me and from finding me from the promoted gigs was able to get quite a bit of money from what I spent. I also got a few other orders from promoted gigs. My experience has been that promoting gigs to get a few extra sales when needed is great. Even though I am technically making less from the order since I had to spend a little to get it, I wouldn't have had that order in the first place if it wasn't for Fiverr Promoted Gigs. A few tips for anyone: 1. If you see that someone is clicking on your gigs because they don't like you, simply blocking them or contacting Fiverr support will most likely fix the issue. 2. Make sure you daily budget isn't too low. If your daily budget is only $1, understand that you can't get a ton of new people as you are paying CPC so if a few people click your gig in the morning and your budget is spent, there will be no more messages for the rest of the day. Fiverr "recommends" a certain amount, usually $3-5 however you can go a little lower if you want. 3. If you get a few repeat clients from Promoted Gigs, you can simply turn off Promoted Gigs and you keep those buyers without having to pay more. Overall, for me Fiverr Promoted Gigs has been a good experience.
  2. I’m hoping that Fiver will give your money back. I understand that $1,400 is a lot of money, take a deep breath and relax. Don’t get too stressed over it.
  3. Exactly. A cool thing to look at but nothing to totally influence your job. 100% agreed!
  4. Happy to help! That’s how people learn! 🙂
  5. Yes, but I would advise it. Look at my explanation above and you’ll see why.
  6. @looseink , most serious buyers that want an outstanding performance done will look at the FAQ’s. That being said, some people do not look at them. Yes! Saving time on Fiverr is key! This gives you time to focus on responding to orders and working on them. Time is key! Hope this helps! -Adrian Marin
  7. @bokitar4167 editing gig will not affect SEO or ranking of gig at all, except if you edit the title, and this will only affect it minimally because when you create a gig, it gives you a URL. If you change the title dramatically, the URL might not make sense because it will be from the last title you put. Again, this will barely if not at all affect the gig at all. Your Question and answer: no, editing a gig will not affect it in the least bit. Feel free to edit the gig to your heart’s consent! Hope this helps!
  8. Of course! You go to dashboard and click on your name. Then click on your gig and at the top of the page, click edit gig. This will take you to the edit page where you can edit the gig and add anything you want. Make sure you save after finishing! Hope this helps!
  9. While you do not HAVE to put FAQ’s in your gig, I would strongly recommend doing so. One reason why is that you can answer simple questions, and let’s say you’re a video editor like me. One of my FAQ’s and answers was, “What programs do you use to edit my videos?” My response is, “I use Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects for video production.” If the buyer knows what these programs are, (they probably do), they know that I am using top-notch programs and that raises their perception of me a little bit. Another one I put was, “Are you fluent in English?” I said yes because I am a native speaker. Anyways, the point is that these increase buyer trust in you and also answer questions they might have In summary, I would strongly suggest adding at LEAST 2 FAQ’s. More is better. No more than 7 or 8 Hope this helps! 😉
  10. @cre8iveartwork Well, yeah, once you get to that high number, you’ll probably keep getting orders from the same countries that are in that 81%. The other 19% probably don’t have access to internet or computers, or simply aren’t a developed country. The fact that you got to 81% though is amazing. Simply amazing. You must have had many hundreds or thousands of orders to get that level. Keep on growing! 😉 I agree 100%. The “world domination” thing is a nice thing that you can get, because it’s fun to look at and you can see what countries you get more sales, (I’m betting that you get most sales from the U.S. even if you don’t live there), and can sometimes even be pretty helpful because of the thing I just said about the U.S. “My goal here is to work steady and remain working steady.” That’s the right attitude! 🙂 Keep on growing, and good luck!
  11. My world domination is 1%. I’ve been on Fiverr for almost 2 months and have gotten one sale from each country of the following: United States of America, United Kingdom, and France. Need to increase that world domination! Can’t wait to get to 10%! Also, getting 100% is physically impossible in my opinion. There are some countries, such as North Korea, that never get buyers or sellers from there. I would be surprised if anyone has ever gotten a single sale from that country. Nevertheless, you could technically get 97 or 98% even though that would be beyond extremely difficult. Sellers that have been on Fiverr for more than Five years, (you see I sneaked in the Fiverr Five joke in there 😉 would probably have anywhere from 35% world domination to 98%. In summary, getting 100% is impossible, and getting a few percent less than that is extremely difficult. In my opinion, anyone that has gotten more than 60% is above and beyond, you must have many hundreds or even thousands of sales to get to that level. Congratulations. You also have to think that just getting more orders won’t always boost your world domination level, especially when you have a high domination rate. Those countries that already have bought from you will probably keep buying again. Since that country was already highlighted, your world domination percentage won’t thus increase. That is why it is hard to get more world domination percentage. Once you have had thousands of sales and you have let’s say 70%, (which is awesome), you will keep getting sales from those countries and getting new countries will be harder. Just like other users commented, some countries don’t have the technology such as computers or internet to be able to buy. Anyways, thank you for reading! I like this topic a lot! Good luck everyone on increasing your world domination!
