  1. Just rent The Batman and watched it on YouTube this weekend, but damn... this movie was too good! I was little skeptical about the whole film after new characters, but I gotta admit that Robert Pattinson did Batman very well than Christian Bale did from the last 3 Batman films in 2008.

I have to buy the movie and try it on Oculus Quest 2, and it will be worth a watch together with friends on Facebook; especially those who has Oculus Quest 2, so we can watch it on 3D in virtual movie cinema!

  2. Sadly, Adobe had end of technical support for Adobe Muse CC beginning March 26 2020. Even though Adobe Muse CC is still one of the greatest app, and can still been download from the Adobe website and use for web-design. Although the Adobe users can still able to download the 2020 version of Adobe Muse CC as well, unless the users are still on the monthly plan like myself with Adobe Creative Cloud started at $29.99/month.

I find Adobe Muse CC is more easier and comfortable to work with than designing a website on Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2022, because I don't have any experience with CSS coding in Adobe Dreamweaver CC.

However, with the Adobe Dreamweaver CC - you can still able to create a beautiful website, art portfolio, AND, re-design a mockup AOL retro website and playing around like you're pretending you still living those days in the '90s! But creating a retro website may take a lot of times because you have to designs a logo, web icons and symbols for using in the web-template design. Yes, I'm still learning to design a websites and use it for design a web for buyers on Fiverr. I'm sure you'll probably thinking I might going to make another comeback with Fiverr Online Marketplace AOL mockup! This isn't going to happen, but it sure fun to create those '90s website though!

Here are few Adobe apps the designers need to understand about designing a unique and beautiful website such restaurant web-journal, a personal website, company website, art portfolio, store website, online store etc. These tools will help keep you busy designing the artwork for a web site such contents, banner and ads.

    1. Adobe Photoshop CC 2022
      • Graphic design and also great for planning a web templates to create a website.
      • Digital Painting and sketching/drawing.
      • Easy to create a web banner.
      • Create your own animation.
      • Photo editing.
      • Book cover design.
      • Creating art for music album cover.

    2. Adobe Illustrator CC 2022
      • Great apps for designing a sharp and clean company logo.
      • Many great tools to design a web icons and symbols for a website, like designing a shopping cart for your online store for example.
      • You can create all different kind of logo with Adobe Illustrator. It's an amazing app for most graphic design and professional logo designers.

    3. Adobe Dreamweaver CC
      • This. Is a great Adobe app every web-designers use it for creating a professional web-sites for the clients all over the world.
      • Easy to work with HTML coding and CSS if you understand coding.
      • Easy to add a video content to your website.
      • Easy to design a web templates and layouts without coding. Although the Adobe Muse CC is still the top No.1 web design apps for every person never have a chance to learn HTML and CSS coding, because Adobe Muse allow users to design a web-site by dragging and drop the and adding your own art, photo or graphic artwork to the contents to the website without worry about typing a codes.
      • Allow users to preview their webpage to see what will the final looks like when publish a web to the internet for the world to see.
  3. Talking about gaming when I wanted to take a break from creating art. These are my top favorites  PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, including PC games I've played. I'm also looking forward to the new games coming on fall 2022 and 2023! However, I was not a big fan of online multiplayer, PvP game or whatever you called it. Because I felt that online game is a waste of time, and it take my hours away from my art.

I just couldn't spend more than 2 hours in online. I'm the guy who enjoy the single player games, so I hate that word to be honest. I'm more of the casual gamer. I don't like spending too much hours gaming, but single player (storyline) is my favorite games, feel like I'm watching movie!

Top favorite PlayStation 4 games I've played in 2020 so far.
Red Dead Redemption 2 (Story Mode). I never got the time for online anyway, and I hate the online version to be honest.
    • The Last Of Us: Remastered - My all time favorite survival horror game of all time!
    • The Last Of Us Part 2
    • Horizon Zero Dawn
    • Detroit: Become Human
    • Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
    • Uncharted: The Lost Legacy -
Oh, I almost forgot... This game and the A Thief's End will be coming to Steam and Epic Games this year.

Top upcoming PlayStation 5 games I'm looking forward to it!
The Last Of Us Part 1 (Remake) coming on September 2, 2022. Also Sony announced that the PC version is currently in development. So PC gamers are in luck, unlike the PlayStation 4 users who are not going to be able to put their hands on the new game since it only coming to PlayStation 5 and PC only.

Top favorites PC games on Steam and Epic Games.
Saint Row (2022) will release on August 23, 2022.
The Sims 4 series is my all time favorites PC game. I love designing architecture and house. It's a fun game, but I can't put too much times into the game. But I enjoy playing on free times!
    The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - I freakin' love this game. I enjoy playing this game while back in 2016, and it is such a beautiful game. Of course, I'm looking forward to the remake which is created in Unreal Engine!
Resident Evil 2 remake version released in 2019. And looking forward to the Resident Evil 4 remake version release on March 24, 2023.
Planet Coaster - Yes, this game is super fun! I also created my own version of Disney World! And yes, I have bought all of the DLC on Steam for this. Love ithe
The Last Of Us Part 1 - Didn't I mentioned this remake game is coming to PC? YES, I'm so excited for this game. I believe Naughty Dog will going to use the same combat mechanics from The Last Of Us Part 2 (PlayStation 4) for a remake which make the game more alive than the classic PlayStation 3 version which originally released in 2013. I guess I'll have to buy some issue box too, because this game going to make me cry!

  8. The internet age from 30 years ago may not be perfect for most freelancers, and it is impossible for them to send and/or receive files from clients. However, I guess I failed to make it clear about being freelancer in the 90's era. So, let imagine this... if Fiverr happened to existed 30 years ago, wasn't only just a freelancer. But the site probably created as the first test beta for social network for people all over the the world to come together. Maybe Fiverr probably has about 500,000 up to nearly a millions start joining. Then later it announced that the site now give children and adults to make money on the sites.

Think about this: Fiverr in the 90's created one room for children who are looking to become kidpreneur on the site, and children can make friend with other kids. Adult on another hand in different rooms can also sign up for an accounts to have their own business as a freelancers on the site. Of course, these seniors and college students are the parents of these kidpreneurs on the site as well, and that's why Fiverr created "Parents Control" which is mean they can manage their children's activity on Fiverr chatroom (in the 90's).

To be a freelancer on Fiverr in the 90's doesn't mean it force you to upload the artwork, the writing contents, graphic design over the internet to the buyers. The rules is simple. When a buyers want to order a writings content for their resume, or any other things to use for their business. They can just place an order on the seller's gig. Fill out a requirement what they need the seller to do the job for them. Once the seller finish the art, book writing contents, script writing, music instrument sounds with cassette tape recording, voice acting via cassette tape recording. They can take it to the UPS or the post office and make a delivery to the buyers from another different country.

When the buyers receive their project through mail, then they will leave a reviews on sellers' Fiverr Online Marketplace profile if they are happy with the project. Hope this make it sense now. And yes, internet is impossible for freelancers to make it quick delivery, but make a delivery through post office is the only option!

  9. The 90's is the weirdest year for most of us who growing up from those era, although I didn't care much about the internet back then. All I care about drawing and the SNES gaming! At least, you can see why the designed of the internet browser looks funny because most designers who created the AOL (America Online) think the graphic looks good enough to attractive the people to technology of the internet they have never experience with before. The designing of the internet browser is all about making money. lol Yep, they still had that kind of internet via AOL for those who can't afford cable or ethernet cable. That's why I used to buy an AOL CD and pop into my Windows 2000s XP and installing the internet from there at the time I started my first year in college. Create AOL account. Click OK, then sit back and wait for the computer to make a noise with phone dialing. Then boom, there is the internet with the male voice said "Welcome!" Or sometime it said "Welcome, you got mail!". That's exactly what I did in 2000s when I was high school. I enjoys creating art with watercolors and color pencils until I moved to digital art when my art teacher introduced me to the Adobe Photoshop 5.0 on a Mac G3. For now, I'm more focusing into creating character art for the comic and comic writers You should check out Wacom Intuos Pro if you're going for comic books. Adobe Illustrator CC also a great choice to create the comic template as well. 🙂
  10. Honestly, I don't think freelance would be possible in those days, if Fiverr was created in the 90's. I think it would create create a lot of stress for me if I ever did try uploading my drawing through a scanner machine. Internet and technology those days are just too painful and frustration for me. Same, at one time I forgot to save the test in computer art class 5 years ago at Sac City College. Then I gave up doing a test all over again.
  11. I am glad this give you a good laugh, imagination7413! I love coming up with something I was curious about what was the internet and technology today would like in those days 30 years ago. Like visualstudios mentioned it is impossible to freelance via internet in the 90's. I agreed with him on this one. Yeah, I remember the time in 2003, I had to sit through and waiting for 30 minutes for download to complete the image while reading a book but didn't realize my mother was on the phone. But honestly, I never tried uploading image or send to friend, so I can't tell how fast the upload speed on the AOL dial-up connection. I know what you mean, I mean, I thought it wouldn't make it feel the nostalgia for use any of my artwork or a logo from 2010 to 2022 on the Retro version of Fiverr profile pic (lo). So I didn't have a choice, so I should use my pic instead for the Fiverr 90's kids work as a freelancer. Lol yeah, I remembered those day when my 4th grade teacher told me that she got contacted by the Raley's Bel Air that they wanted to commission me to draw a dragon with a cookie jar for their product for $40. So I did take that commission from them. Haha. 🙂 Those days, I used to draw a lot of characters from the video game and Saturday Morning Cartoon shows for the neighbor kids who promised to pay $10 for it. Even though $10 seem sounds like a lot to me though. I wasn't a good writer or a reader as a kid back then, but I regretted for skipping reading class. 😞
  12. Here is the retro version of Fiverr I created this morning. Let's say if Fiverr was created those year between 1993 - 1994, but you all knew how terrible the internet dial-up connection was. Super damn slow as hell, even this may sounds not right for anyone who wanted to work from home as a freelancer, because the upload files or a very large JPEG image may take 40 minutes before the deadline end, and you have to sit through reading your magazine while the uploading still processing on the delivery process. Imagine, what would you do if someone in your home pick up the phone and it cause the internet disconnected. You can imagine how frustrated this can be working as a freelancer if those days really happen. Would you still be working at the workplace, or would you still want to continues your journey as a freelancer online? Share with us what you hates the most about living those days using the slow dial-up internet if Fiverr happen to be exist 30 years ago. I know uploading artwork take 10, 14 or sometime up to 20 minutes to complete when sending to a friend through online mail. But not sure how long it take to sending a writing contents to a buyer. Oh I almost forgot, the kid in the photo was me. It's my school yearbook photo taken in Spring 1994, but I'd like to use this if I go back to those year, and I would be 12 again.
  13. Ever wonder what would Fiverr would be like in the 90's when you're still a kid and working as a freelancer on a Windows 3.1x released in 1992? Well, those days were the golden age of these internet and it's now gone 30 years ago.

Well, I'm also looking forward to create one 1990's version of Facebook and the black and white version of Fiverr after finish some of my art for my DeviantArt store.

Oh yeah, and you might noticed vickieito and nomuffinsforyou appear on the buddies list on the Fiverr Chat Lol.

    3. dannykojima1

Hey there, @vickieito! Very good question. I used Adobe Photoshop CC 2022 and Adobe Illustration CC 2022 (latest updated version for the fun retro technology mockup). And I love creating stuff like that a lot!

I have been working on both programs since high school while back in early 2000s when my art teacher recommended me to learn new art medium with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator on the Mac G3 before I got a work experience at SacBee, it was my first job there. Since you brought that up, I will be creating mockup products step-by-step for my YouTube channel and teach beginners how to work with both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CC.

With the retro AOL mockup designed, believe it or not? I designed a CD from scratch from ground built up, since I couldn't find a CD on Google, because it is impossible for me to remove and replace my mockup design to replace AOL on the CD (lol). So I designed a CD in Adobe Illustrator CC, then copy and paste it in Adobe Photoshop CC. So that's how I design a CD with Photoshop to make the CD artwork looks real as possible.

With the retro AOL web mockup, I used Adobe Photoshop to designed the templates and the layouts by using many layers and Art Board a lot. Most AOL icons, I used Adobe Illustrator to designs without take it from Google since those image are too blurry! So I rather design it with my own internet icons and symbols graphic image for using in Adobe Photoshop.

Anyway, since you asked -- from now on, I will be using OBS (Opening Broadcast Studio) screen recording to record my process and will post them on YouTube and post the link on here for you and @nomuffinsforyou, so you both can learns how to work with Photoshop and Illustrator for your designs on Fiverr! 😉

@vickieito, sorry, I almost forgot to mentioned "The Da Vinci" portrait painting. I used Wacom Cintiq 13HD tablet to paint a portrait of Leonardo in Adobe Photoshop CC which took me a year to complete since I have been struggle to catch up with the portrait due to the concept art I have to designed video game characters for the small company claimed they are doing a demo for Bethesda (the creator of Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Fallout). I find it hard to believe the CEO owner claimed that he has some friends and connections at Microsoft, Ubisoft and EA Games. But his project of the game demo for Bethesda never complete! It's has been 4 years and never completed either.

It pissed me off that this guy using other artists from ArtStation to create art for him, but I'm glad one artist from ArtStation messaged me on Facebook warning that this guy is a bogus. That's why I left his so-called company. And some artist (who worked for Assassin's Creed and Friday the 13th: The Game) refused to join this guy's company because they knew he was a fraud and a fake. When I used to work with the guy at the time I was an art director, I have to called him to setup the meetings for artists, designers and including him which is important for me to discuss about the game project. And guess what? This guy, keep making an excuses that he was still driving and will call me back when he get home. But never call. Never at once. Then I saw him posting pictures of him with his buddies like he was on a road trip, enjoying the lifestyle right after he told me he was at the hospital!

It surprised me that he was banned from several Facebook art groups from different admins, because he was spamming the groups about his company is hiring artists. I'm glad I had put him on a blacklist so I can avoid working with people like him in the future.

  16. My response was to a seller if he refuse to offer me a 1 time revision as it said "unlimited" on his gig, but still charge us buyers. I mean, my respond would be like... "Honey, your gig isn't all that bad. However it said the revision is unlimited and your gig did also mentioned 'I will offer lifetime support 24/7'. Yet, you still charge us $50 extra for the revision?" No, I'm not trying sweet talk. I'm just being polite, but if you're just being a jerk or I'll ask Fiverr Customer Support for my money back. (Then do a girly wave with right hand) Oooh... buh-bye.

  17. Some of the seller are lucky that I'm not the type of a person would goes full Karen mode with all "Girl Talk", complaining about the gig I order if I ask for a revision and see how his reaction turn out, before I could contact Fiverr Customer Support.

  18. Reading the forum of some seller considering themselves "the best", "I am the best, "I deserved the badge or being top seller", then attack the buyers and blaming it was their fault. As the buyer -- this just break my heart. I would be ashamed of calling myself a professional seller and wouldn't want to treat my buyers like that. We are all humans. No one is perfect. There may be some buyers can be impatient too, but it's not their fault because the gigs lead them to believe that the seller offering life time. I mean it does really sounds like charity works, but charge the buyer for revision? That's not good.

I find this is just that some sellers seem to care more about badge them their buyers these days. This is just sad and it break my heart, to be honest. Because I didn't want to be treat badly as a buyer the way they treated their buyers. 🙁

  19. Here is another of my favorite "Art of the 90's Golden Girl" Greatest Hits, like a cassette tape case cover -- Portrait painting I did of another Facebook friend who is also a model and singer. I love painting this girl with a big hair like wild, just as she was from the 90's!

  21. I have been told many times by family member as being a skinny person, it does hurt, but it will take time for them to get used to it. Although my whole household are overweight, excepted 4 of my beautiful nieces are normal. Well, I was in fact skinny as my 8 years old niece. My sister-in-law once told me I needed to eat more even I doesn't eat much. And yes, I'm such a picky when come to food like junk, soft drink (like soda), barbeque, oily food -- especially pork meat I hate the most.

And no, I do not have eating disorder. I don't like being too skinny either, because it would make me looks like a walking skeleton. Being thin is not what I wanted to look this way. Yes, I did tried to eat as much as I could to gain some fat, but it will take 3 months for me to do it so. Why? Because I exercise a lot, every morning. And it does make me lost few pounds from 116lb, and now I weight 110lb. I exercise most likely morning and during break from art at noon 30 minutes after finish my lunch. Because I love doing exercise to keep me healthy and staying fitness. Yes, yoga and indoor are my favorite part of daily indoor exercise.

Oh yes, I almost forgot... even though my little white Pomeranian love watching me work out and she would always try to join me workout too! Ha! Well, I love staying fitness you know.

Diet and nutrition are the only healthy foods of my choice I can eat and workout. I have a brother who was overweight, and he tried hard to lose some fat, but couldn't do it. The problem is, he is a smoker and he would smoke many pack of cigarettes a days as he wanted. Drinking beers and soda is also becoming his health problem. This is why it hard him to do daily exercise and workout when he had a breathing problem.

Again, built a body from being skinny to athletic is not easy if some people have problem with eating with all type of junk foods that make them feel craving and wanted to eat more due to amount of calories which keep them continues overeating every hours. My mom even told me that I looks skinny, um... like a woman. You know, like those... fashion model. (LOL...) Hush...

    (Sigh)

  22. Currently working on a new game characters concept art of Ellie and Joe from "The Last Of Us Part 1" for my DeviantArt and ArtStation. Of course, it's a full body version character of Ellie in 3 different outfits: One she wear original clothes from The Last Of Us: Remastered (PlayStaton 4) and one of Ellie wearing astronaut outfit as she dreaming of her flying to the moon with Joel. As for Joel. I'm still working on trying to figure what to create Joel wearing new outfit.

I will be using the same style as I created my first character Tara from the sci-fi Night City 2070 comic. Creating the realistic artwork may take long, as nearly as 2 or 3 weeks is worth waiting for "The Last Of Us" fans. Of course, fans love good artwork that looks more realistic, and it's almost come to life.

To be honest, working as a characters artist in the gaming industry is a pain in the butt when you're on the tight schedules. I had few fellow artist friends used to worked with Ubisoft on the Assassin's Creed project. You can imagine the rush from impatient gamers, even if the company announce about the delaying of the game which triggered anger from many fans of the game, and creating total backlash.

Anyway, I can't wait to share Ellie and Joel character concept artwork from the latest "The Last Of Us Part 1" on DeviantArt, and on Fiverr here.

Of course, Sony not only release The Last Of Us Part 1 on PlayStation 5 coming September 2 this year, but they also planning for the PC version as well which is still in development after the PlayStation 5 release!

  23. Someone outside of Fiverr currently working at Amoeba Music (based in San Francisco) contacted me on DeviantArt via Gmail asking for a collaboration together to create an 80's music poster artwork for the concert with AC/DC on it. Yes, he wanted me to draw the whole band poster like an 80's style movie poster. This guy, of course is a legitimate graphic artist who still working with the Amoeba, and need someone like myself to collaborate with him on the 80's poster he wanted to create for AC/DC.

After showing the artist one of my latest 80's movie poster illustration project I did with Mad Max: Fury Road's legendary character Immortan Joe in his mask with shiny chrome colors. He wanted me to do the same with shining stuff. You know, every art in the 80's and the 90's like VHS cassette tape video cover has some artwork with chrome letters or movie titles, with different of shining fonts including artwork.

He was very impressive with this and wanted me to create the same 1980 style like I did with retro movie poster for AC/DC he was asked to create for the concert. Well, of course, I searched him up on Google by typing his name and Amoeba, and it turned out this guy actually work there and he wasn't fake as most I've came across those who sent me a proposal job like one asked me to create artwork for the Harley Davidson Motorcycle company.

Anyway, I'm super excited for the summer because I have been super busy planning on creating some of the 80's movie style movie artwork and planning on submit it to Netflix, and few other film company that are looking to hire artists for their show on Netflix.

I have been looking forward to work on the Jurassic Park: Dominion, and few other 2022 movies into the 80's poster illustration like it used be. Unfortunately, creating 80's artwork on Fiverr for buyers who are searching for artists to create something like that for their new movies, it won't happen. Since the 80's artwork take so many times if they wanted the realistic style details artwork in their upcoming new movies on Fiverr's marketplace.

Fiverr's timer system wasn't right for the artist like myself to be to create realistic art as possible for the movie and game project. This won't work for every indie filmmakers on market since Fiverr either, especially when the system's timer start is running before the artist could make the delivery on time.

If the film producers wanted to hire the artist like myself, they will have to contact me on Behance or DeviantArt. Yes, Adobe owned Behance. It's a social network for artists who show their work and get hired by the TV and movies company, including AAA Games. Sadly, Fiverr is not a place for indie film producer if they wanted good quality of art for their upcoming indie film.

And guess what? Netflix even found one of their artist on Behance to created artwork for "Stranger Things". To be honest, I have not seen or watched any of the shows on Netflix. I don't have a chance to watch Netflix since I was too busy creating art and hope I will one day create art for the tv show if I was hire, like my fellow artist on Twitter. She created a lot of art for the movies and TV shows. I didn't know until I noticed she have been my follower on Twitter for 10 years.

  24. The Artists and the Internet of the 2000s.
What life was like to the artists in the early 2000s compare to today artist in 2022?
Even without Fiverr and few other freelance sites, most artists (including myself) love to post our art on Myspace. And the fans love it. Myspace used to be the home to artists and their creative work of art compared it to social medias such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter today. Believe it or not, most art lovers usually had their favorite artists on their Myspace's top 5 friend list, and I was one of those on their top favorite too! Those was good time.

Where do artist get their art promote before YouTube in early 2000s?
It was crazy that DeviantArt existed in 2000s -- the early year of the internet such AOL (America Online) at the time YouTube didn't even come out in the early 2000s, when I was still a teenager in sophomore during high school year, especially in art class. We get our art exposed to the public by our teacher teachers. And today, with rise of the social medias, the artists turned to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter over DeviantArt and Artstation. Because these social medias were too good for their work to get a lot of attentions from the audiences, and these social medias are now become the biggest social media giants and is the home to every artists for showing off their work on Facebook business pages today in 2022.

How do artists get a commission work without Fiverr, Upwork and other freelance site in 2000s?
DeviantArt and in school, of course.

With the social medias today, Instagram finally become the biggest part of artist's life; showing off skills, the work of art. Not just artists, but photographers as well. You can see every contents and video fill with fashion model, clothing, art, selfie pictures and... maybe music? Not sure about music, but yes I have seen some musicians upload their cover art of their band as well.

Even though the 2000s isn't all that bad compared it to the 80's and the 90's. Those times are still the best decade to those artists who were born in the 1970 and the 1980, but grew up in the 90's.
