I sent some evidence of this to customer support and received this:

"Additionally, we are aware of the issue of cancellations rectified by Customer Support affecting success scores. We recognize this oversight and are actively working to resolve it before the transition period concludes on March 14. We will keep you informed of any updates."

So... perhaps they will fix this before March. Another mystery.

Yes, I have already seen that in the official topic. Hopefully, they'll fix that too since most people have this problem in common.

  2. Well, I'm also facing the same issues, and here is what I have observed so far.

1- The new system is taking data from the last 2 years. It's not good for old sellers since Fiver has a lot of data from our gigs. But most new sellers have a better seller score. In my point of view, the time period should be a maximum of 6 months because how can we fix the issues caused in the last two years within a month? Also don't know if Fiver is trying to encourage new sellers since old sellers are already generating good sales.

2- Order cancellations via seller support still affect our seller score. My question is why should we suffer if the buyer has placed an order without reading? Most of the time we reach out to seller support after cancellation because it's the buyer's fault and they assure us that this will not affect our statistics. Just wondering were they lying all the time?

3- Increase your price guys. I don't know about you but for me, most issues are caused by a low-budget gig which I kept as it is for experiment even though Fiverr is asking me to increase its pricing. But if I check the stats of this gig then it is the one that is generating a lot of impressions and sales are good too. The gig where I charge so much has a rating of 9 even though I have cancelled a couple of orders too. So yeah pricing matters in my opinion.

4- One more thing I'm not sure if it's correct or not but I noticed that the gig score is being calculated based on the sales amount while the gig weight is being calculated based on the number of orders. For seller score gig weight matters and If I calculate the average of all my gigs it's above 7 but in reality, I'm getting a seller score of 6.

Top Rated, Level 2 and now 0. The period of this evaluation is 2 years, it means that the profile and the Gigs are compromised. But I notice that the support wants to let you know that you can take 30 days to evaluate the new level system, and take the necessary precautions. How?

What can I say except this new rating system ***ks

    @Kesha

What could be a proper response when one of my existing customers notices that I'm not a top-rated seller anymore? Sorry but 2 years ago I canceled 2 orders.

Well there could be two scenarios

If you are offering low-cost gigs like for example 5$,10$, or 20$ then it should not be an issue since you might be getting tons of orders. But for sellers those are charging so much depending on the project and one project might take weeks to complete then it can definitely be an issue. Like for one of my gigs, most of the orders I got were related to custom development and sometimes a project can 2 to 3 weeks. So for me, it's not easy to recover since I may get 2 to 3 orders per month for this gig.

If it's 30 days, people will complain their historical performance isn't taken into account - if I did good work for 10 years, shouldn't that count?

If it's all time, people will complain that the system never forgets, that one mistake will haunt you forever, etc. Not to mention long time sellers would be at a massive advantage.

There's no perfect solution for this. In any case, 1 cancelation in 2 years isn't bad, and you also have all the successful orders you sold in those two years to compensate. Right?

All in all, I think 2 years is a pretty sensible middle ground.

In my point of view, it should be like 6 months. Because people can recover stats for their past 6 months easily or at least they can try. But for 2 years I don't think we might be able to recover easily since sales are not the same throughout the years.

But for new sellers it's a great opportunity

  6. Everyone should get briefs depending on the budget they have set. But I believe Fiverr is awarding most of briefs to TRS or Sellers those are performing well.

Previously I was getting like 2-3 briefs per week but got "Fiverr's Choice" badge a few days ago. Now the average count for briefs is 15-20 per day. But most of these are not related to my niche so I have to reject most of time.

  7. Honestly I don't like their idea of using AI to match people. New sellers might suffer because of that. I know there was a lot of spam in buyer requests but they should adopt the idea from other market places & where sellers need to pay to get extra tokens to reply to the requests. That way they can earn more I believe.

  8. I do understand your question and that is what I am concerned about. I am also requested to pay a security before started a project. So I am not sure if the company is ligit of not. Please have a look at the msg below and advise me if i should take the gig or not. thank you in advance.

    Red Alert!

You have violated a term connecting buyers or sellers outside of platform is not allowed. I do not understand what kind of security you are talking about. If you are a seller then buyer will pay the full amount before starting the order, Fiverr is managing all orders so if anything goes wrong they’ll help to sort out things.

  9. One of my order is auto completed without buyer review, he is a returning client. I have seen this feature first time because I have started selling recently & I’m Lvl1 seller. But strange thing is that is only showing on gig extra that I offered on an active order, small amount of 30$ is available for early payout but the big amount is not showing this option.

  10. Fiverr will only ask you to review the buyer if he/she has left a review. If the buyer has not left any review which is quite common then you can’t submit your review & it’ll not appear under your profile.

Honestly, most of the buyers give reviews but some of them don’t care about it. Only 60% of my completed orders got reviews 😦
