  3. Yes to both! Wow - blown away by all the entries. When I first heard Elsasollesvik samples, I could not have imagined the types of tracks you all came up with. Super unique takes across so many genres. The winner will be announced here within the next few days… plus it’s looking like we’ll add 2nd and 3rd place prizes too with all these great submissions! In the meantime, would love to hear any feedback on this. Should we do more contests? Different types of prizes? Different types of challenges? All opinions are welcome

  6. Thanks for getting us started - amazing entry and top notch explanation, giving us some production tips along the way. Granular synthesis is pretty versatile it seems!
  7. Not limited to one entry per user 😄 (just don’t abuse it please). Super excited to hear your take!
  8. You’re all good to get help with mixing, work with a seller, or collaborate with a friend! It will just have to be one persons submission.
  9. Attention Fiverr Music & Audio Community! Let’s try something new. I’m excited to kick off the first music & audio contest! Time to get your creative juices flowing. The task is simple. Download this sample, made by awesome fiverr seller Elsasollesvik, and make whatever you want with it! It’s that simple. You can create a beat with it, play it on your instrument, sing an a-capella cover of it, produce an orchestral score behind it, time stretch and flip it into something new… anything you can think of! The only rule is that you must use this sample (any part of it - doesn’t need to be all), and it has to be under 2 minutes. To submit your take, just fill out this form, and post your track in this thread (explanations of your work are highly encouraged) by March 15th. Once you do that, you’re in. Submissions be judged on creativity. Oh and one more thing… winner gets $100 in Fiverr credit! Excited to see what everyone comes up with! The sample is 100bpm and in the key of C#maj Let’s get to creating! Adam Terms and conditions can be found here

  14. Glad you got on! Thoughts on getting some Fiverr Freelancers together to chat on clubhouse? We can set up a time 🙌
  15. This is awesome, thanks for sharing. Lots of wisdom here for new and old sellers alike. My favorite has to be #1, confidence is key - and being confident in your strengths goes a long way in creating your image and brand. Does anyone else have key lessons learned from their experiences?
  16. Have you guys heard about the new audio-only social media app, Clubhouse? I recently joined - curious what everyone thinks. Audio is definitely “trending”… If some of you are on it, would love to start some convos there!
  17. Piggybacking on @mjensen415 question… what’s the best superbowl halftime show of all time? I’d have to go with Prince in 2007, or Springsteen in 2009. What do you guys think?

  21. Great question. I wish I had some hardware synths (Prophet 5 or Juno 106 would be amazing). Right now I’m 90% using Serum, which has a super easy interface and clean sound. But for that analog sound, I actually recently purchased Analog Lab from Arturia… some really good sounds in there taken from the analog synths. Btw - I’m thinking about opening a new subcategory for synth patches/sound design. What do you guys think?
  22. Let’s be real. Once in a while there are buyers that have no clue what they need when it comes to music & audio, and most definitely don’t have the vocabulary/knowledge to explain what they are looking for. I’m curious, what have been some of the most challenging projects you guys have worked on recently? Whether it’s someone asking for an impossible edit/tweak or something in a crazy out-there genre
  23. Hey! I think that makes a lot of sense. What subcategory is your gig in? Feel free to share the link here.
  24. Hey everyone. Adam from Fiverr Music & Audio here. 2020 is coming to an end 🙏 . While it’s been a weird year to say the least, I’m sure many of us have added some awesome projects to our portfolio. Let’s use this thread to show off a bit and talk about the projects we’re most proud of from 2020! Whether it’s something you did on Fiverr or off - a song you produced, VO you did, podcast you edited… something that was heard by millions or heard by a few close friends. Any project or story that you’re proud of. Looking forward to seeing all the talent and accomplishments this group has 💪 . (I’ll share mine in the thread below)
  25. Great having a RE20 in your arsenal. Such a classic sound
