  1. Is the gig receiving impressions in your Gigs page? If so, then it is active and available in the site algorithm. Minor gig edits may or may not temporarily knock a gig out of the algorithm. but the safest practice is to try to minimize the amount of edits and try to have all modifications done at one go.
  2. Welcome to the new forum Vickie! Everyone's still trying to figure the layout and features out.  😅

Even though I am on my computer and not my phone, I feel totally like I am in a deep ocean and I am not sure how to swim.

  3. Just a reminder, please don't message other sellers and ask if they are interested in purchasing your services! 🚫

  4. A new sign up thread! I guess the old thread got a bit long in the tooth and saturated with discussions/arguments about the actual program itself while details were still very limited.
  5. Ouch. What a ghastly experience. You went above and beyond the scope of what the gig should have included, yet the buyer was a contradicting dolt in terms of what he actually wanted. 😬 I’m not sure if you present to buyers a rough outline/sketch before committing fully to a finished illustration, but can see in this case why you wouldn’t since the buyer gave you the reference image and cover. It seems this was a case of, “No good deed goes unpunished.”
  6. Oops. I mistook third party ToS claim for a content/copyright claim. Still need to wake up. 😴 But a copyright claim can also result in gig removal (and probably whole account termination).
  7. Well, something triggered it. “Content” is not limited solely to text. It could be the gig images, sound, or video as well.
  8. Gigs can only contain content that the seller created or has the rights to use commercially. A third party ToS violation means something in your gig can or was claimed by someone else as being their content or intellectual property.
  9. No, it is not allowed. Under the Fiverr Community Standards Integrity and Authenticity page: image1197×238 16.4 KB Sorry, but that’s incorrect. It doesn’t matter if it a stock or royalty free image. It should be an authentic image of the seller himself/herself, or one created or owned by the seller.
  10. Suggestion for a niche? I don’t have a clue as to what you are skilled in, good at, interested in, or equipped enough to do. What might be a perfect niche of services for one person may be an absolute dead-end disaster for another. 🤨
  11. I guess I am feeling generous today and did the math. You will need 5 more five star reviews to bring up your current total review average above 4.5 stars and regain access to Buyer Requests. Sellers do not contact buyers, buyers contact sellers.
  12. That’s due to having a profile rating (I believe) of less than 4.5 stars average. You’ll have to rely on the strength of your gig pages to attract customers instead of the Buyer Requests page until your average rating improves enough.
  13. The person you are replying to is still on Fiverr, but has not been on the forum in over 3 years. And this entire thread is over 4 years old… To answer your question, you can’t change reviews. You move on and hope for more and better reviews from happy buyers, whose reviews will hopefully minimize the damage and visibility of any negative reviews.
  14. ⬆️ Freelancers work on Fiverr, not freelancers work for Fiverr. (Unless you happen to actually be directly employed by Fiverr and are a part of company staff, which is not the case for 99.9% of users.)
  15. Just report the guy already. He might counter and claim you never gave him all the required images to properly complete the order, but that still doesn’t excuse sending an empty delivery. -And once again, sellers do not mark an order as complete. Either Fiverr automatically does so after 72 hours after delivery has elapsed, or the buyer marks it as complete.
  16. Report the seller and open a dispute with Customer Support. Delivering absolutely nothing is a violation of Fiverr Terms of Service. It doesn’t matter if “it will look bad on their seller account” or will “mess up their account.” You’ve paid them to provide an item or service and they have not delivered anything. Orders automatically are marked complete after 72 hours time from delivery if the buyer does not dispute the order. Even if the order is “completed,” you can still dispute it with Customer Support, and should in this particular case.
  17. This thread is 4 years old… The teenager who started this thread is no longer even a teenager or active on Fiverr or the forum it seems.
  18. The starting $10 is a freebie from Fiverr to entice sellers to utilize the program. Once it’s used up, you either continue funding Promoted Gigs with earnings from your account or a separate payment method (credit card or Paypal account), or you just turn it off.
  19. Thank you kindly! The funny thing is that I am well aware I have an unconventional face that would “work for radio” as the old joke goes, but I still offer video spokesperson services but intentionally “niche” myself as an unconventional/weird/humorous spokesperson. 😅
  20. I think I remember reading an instance of the bug one or two months back, so I guess it’s still not fixed. As for your particular case, I’m pretty darn sure that revisions are irrelevant in regards to lateness. I cannot even remember the last time I saw that bold red LATE text, so I’m not the best to talk out of personal experience, but I’ve read of orders that have stayed in revision for MONTHS, eventually closed after a seemingly unending ping pong match between buyer and seller, and the order still not being considered late.
  21. I’m from Cali, the home of “dude” and the vacation home of “bro.” 😆 It’s fairly common in face to face speech here between younger males, but yeah, electronic messaging on a business platform is an entirely different situation.
  22. Hmm, did you request an extra for that order as well? There is a known bug that if an extra is accepted for a delivered order but is in revision, if not enough days are added to the delivery time, it erroneously is considered a real late order.
  23. Wait, whaaat? A “real” late delivery considers only the initial delivery time, not the delivery time for any revision requests. If a revision is requested, the timer does indeed continue to run down to zero, but it is not really a late delivery if the original delivery was submitted before the deadline. The bold red LATE text honestly should be changed to not pop up if in regards to revisions. There’ve been so many posts on the forum of people who’ve freaked out from seeing it over revisions when they are actually fine.
  24. Enthusiastic, I might give that to you. Attentive to details, a freelancer likely doesn’t remain in business for 5 years if they weren’t attentive to details…
