  1. I have reported 100s of fake profiles and they are still here. Apparently everyone on this marketplace is called James Henderson, John Ross and similar and is from the UK hahahahha. I feel bad for the buyers, they think they are working with some 25 year old British girl named Sofia. There was once and I am not joking😂 and this services was Fiverr's choice but this person presented itself as Eva with a profile picture of MISS INDIA 2019😂. Maybe miss india was fixing bugs on shopify websites, maybe 😂
  2. I can write a book about selling on Fiverr, however there is one and only one thing that everyone should master when it comes to selling here: project requirements!! Make the buyer do their part of the project. I have 15 to 20 questions in my brief and you need to answer all of them, if you answer "n/a", "I don't know", "not sure" I will message you asking kindly to answer those questions. If you are unresponsive, I will reach out to consumer support to contact you on my behalf. I extend delivery time if you fail to provide them in time. I hold clients responsible for the success of the project. Lucky me, 99% of my clients are great and they respect my professional bounders.
  3. Just I we speak... I had a paid call with a potential client. Not a consultation, just paid call to discuss their project requirements. Is a company, I spoke with the owner I got paid my consultation fee, no time spent in preparation. I get inquiries from a lot of "companies" with 2 page project requirements listed + the usual "Can you do a call"? My response is "Sure , you can book the option on my profile" and they go from 01 -> 100 absolutely angry that I dare to charge so they can speak with me. Serious..? If you don't have the budget for a 100$ call, you sure don't have the budget for the full project with costs starting from 1500$. (*these are the same clients who rate 4 the "value for money", I will call them "value for money" clients from now.
  4. The main issue with Fiverr is and will remain the quality of clients. I have an amazing service ( one of the many) offering strategies that I can price 2000$ or more and I work with a lot of B2B companies. Is amazing, clients have a real budget, they have marketing team ready to implement the strategy, I can get on a call and coach the team, help with recruitment etc.. They are very happy with the service, I get paid my hourly rate of around 100$/hour and enjoy working on their projects. That's just 0.0001% of clients, unfortunately. I am afraid however this new changes will push highly qualified freelancers out of the platform. I understand the reason why, and this is why after couple of not so good experiences as a buyer I decided to never buy on Fiverr. The rules are made for the sellers who: - cancelled orders to polish their ratings - offered cheap services so the buyer didn't felt like leaving a negative review in public and left one in private However the rules apply to all of us and is just too much. Fiverr has been trying to recruit Western European and American freelancers for years now to build credibility but the high-paying clients are just not there, this new system will not help with that. I am TRS and SS of 10, it doesn't matter honestly.
  5. I have noticed too, the quality of projects that people demand is higher. I got like 10+ messages from Meta, Google and other tech employees regarding resumes and LinkedIn profile in the past 3 days. I have started to get approx. 1 message every 1 hour/1.5 hours and is a little overwhelming trying to respond to everyone. I got targeted with insta ads regarding a campaign Fiverr has been running so maybe their doubling down on Pro was basically saying will be invest significant budget in campaigns that will acquire up-market audience.
  6. The same. I discovered Fiverr by chance and started immediately as a PRO. If one day the the badge disappear I will not be here as I have not intention to be regular seller. There are many people like me that started to work on this platform just because they go PRO verified and I think we are the one that despite not having 50000 reviews are making the revenue for Fiverr. The real revenue represented by building relationships with high paying client having the budget to invest in multiple projects and stay on the platform as a client for long terms. Most of my clients will never look at a non PRO gig because for them working with a non-PRO is taking a risk. Their business are making millions so why would they take the risk to save extra bucks?
  7. They are accepting more sellers yes. I saw a seller selling entire marketing strategy for 20$ getting the Pro vetted badge in one of my categories. The prices will go further down as more "professionals" are getting in.
  8. Hi, I would advice you to read terms and conditions before buying on the platform. Besides that there is no need to panic, you can always text the seller.
  9. Are we sure about this? I am digital nomad travelling in Europe all the time but my location is Italy because my ID is Italy and my residence is in Italy and I pay taxes in Italy and my company is registred there. My location has never ever changed since I have started travelling and staying sometimes months out of the country.
  10. I don't work in Fiverr so I not sure. As a Pro seller I have a limit of 100$ on basic package so I assume is the same logic that applies. Extras can cost lower than 80$ but the basic package must cost at least 80$.
  11. Well Fiverr finally start adding lower limit for prices. I can't be more happier. If your prices are higher than that nothing to worry about, means you can't input lower than 80$ in the price section of the gig.
  12. Honestly never undestood this behaviour. I guess I need to blame sellers that give 5* to absolutely horrible clients for some of my negative experience. I always check ratings before accepting a project and sometimes can't undestand how this person have all 5* but can't even fill in project requirments form correctly, communicate correctly or is rude or unprofessional. Giving the right rating is a way to help other sellers as well.
  13. I have rated lower star a client yesterday for keeping an order in revision just so he can have more time to review. At the end he didn't even ask for revision. I intended to rate any client with lower ranking if they extend the order beyond the 3 days without justifying it first with me (I am too busy is not a acceptable reason).
  14. In a perfect world yes. However take in consideration services such as SEO where is difficult to prove your have done the work you said you will. Some wordpress developers charge per hour (packages of 40h) because they develop custom feautures. Some market researcher charge per hours because it makes sense. Especially with market research you need to research everything before you can even send a custom offer to the client because data maybe not available online. Instagram growth expert charge per for the time spend not the n.of followers gained. What if the client says I have paid for 40h but I am not sure 40h have been spent on this.
  15. OMG..... so you can ask review extension multiple timee?? this is madness...absolute madness
