I had never heard of this type of video. I do not make videos perhaps I could hire @marinapomorac to make one for me. But those I found were very boring. Are you sure this “trick” will help me get sales?
O—K—A—Y  I will try that. Here is a tickle had video. But all of them I could find were rather long.
@vickiespencer I would prefer we do the “old” test your blood pressure test.
You stand next to the wall straight up and you push inside part of your palm as strong as you can from the wall but without moving your body. Do this for 40 seconds, then move aside. How high your hand raises all by itself is your blood pressure level… or it was just a circus trick I do not know, but it was fun watching hand go up on its own and can’t put it down…
I got 2 orders in 1 year from participating in the forum.

Congrats !
Would it be too much to ask for a yearly breakdown of these $100,000 ?
I am also seriously considering quitting my corporate job and go full time free-lancing. The hourly rate is just insane.
Hoping to be one those writing such success story someday !
Keep in mind he is doing full 3D animations, and one order is 1K to 2K level for 3-5 minutes video.
Comparing his income to other “smaller” categories skills is not relevant.
It is like pharmacist comparing his salary with brain surgeon.
Most of these “100K earned” sellers are in the niche that bring 1K per order or more.
So everyone should take a step back before jumping to conclusion this income on Fiverr is achievable in general.
It is only achievable in categories where work has high priced values that can not be crashed by overflow of new sellers.
3D animation is not something you can fake, as it is with design, proofreading, content writing, and similar. So you do not have many sellers (no point of scammers to even go there).
My suggestion would be to never set goal for Fiverr to be main and only source of income.
Goal should be stable freelancing and gathering income from multiple sources.

Google search results are based on luck, coincidence, keywords, relevancy, and metadata in images (JPG files) and SEO words in tags and description.

@pvitalsolutions you are free to do what you want and you can also disregard everything I said.
This is a lot more complicated than you think and I get the impression you think that following someone’s advice and doing one or two things will “fix” something.
That is not what this post was about.
If anything the take away should be how much more complex this whole “ranking” thing is and how many variables there are.
I just saw this in the description of Fiverr Level 2 seller (2014, last delivery 12 hours ago), never saw this before:
BONUS offer: For a limited time, 2x in every order.
Click on ❤️ symbol at top right corner to get bonus.
Now…
What is your opinion on Hearts and Fiverr 3.0?
Do you guys think i should edit or not?
I edited all my GIGs and now the funny thing is that for a certain keyword most of my GIGs come up as result, so basically, the entire first page is my gigs mixed with others but due to my branding of thumbnail, you can’t miss me 😃
Do not know will it convert to orders, it is a holiday so it is too early to tell.

I’d genuinely like to hear about your process @marinapomorac
I’d also like to know how much inspiration plays a factor into getting into the job.
Note: Or you can ask me to withdraw this post. We don’t have a required class “show & tell” that I know of.
I was raised by workaholic and I enjoy working.
Like if I had to pick between working and relaxing with friends and family I will always pick working.
I do not drink coffee or alcohol, never did, nor need for that.
I have skills in multiple areas and I also teach them which keeps my skills fresh.
Imagine teaching lectures and how to make PPT or video or similar every day for 15 years and also be surrounded with talented people that give you new ideas on how to approach your design and also zero talented people and because I am teacher I can not just say “you stup__ you quit” but I have to find what they are good at and by searching also expanding my knowledge.
I can improve your PPT or create something on the point much faster than most because I have seen people fails everyday.
You know when people come here and say “I have 5-10-15 years of experience”.
That is only you, working alone or with your team. Your 15 years.
As instructor I make thousands of designs and I see thousands of design and I know which one worked and which one did not. Times 12-20 times 6 every day (20 students in 6 classes).
So my mind works differently from classic “freelancer”.
When I see problem I do not only work on solution. I am also thinking about how can I teach this so it doesn’t happen again and put it in the next course lectures.
My biggest problem in progress is that my mind is working faster than I can deliver.
And I can’t stop it.
Your question is too broad for me.
Give me a specific example and I will tell you my process.

Does the new algorithm
Just as an aside, this makes me remember a comment by someone who said he was told by support that the algorithm does change to avoid people trying to “beat it”, and this not in the ‘algo 2.0 for 2 years’, ‘algo 3.0 for 1 year’ sense but in the ‘what is true this week may not be true next week’ way.
The entity algorithm 3.0 as a ‘major release’ surely will have “stickies” that remain the same, like “relevancy”, or “cancellations are bad, we don’t like cancellations”, but might play around with “lesser values” to keep things fresh and exciting for sellers who try to figure it out and adapt accordingly.
That could also function as kind of an alternative “gig rotation”, not caused by shuffling sellers just so with an “everyone gets a turn every once in a while” attitude, but in a “let’s make fast turnaround sellers the freelancers of the week”, “this month is lucky month for sellers who edited their gig within the last month”, and so on.
I just like the thought that they are having fun hanging out in their virtual conference room and debating whether to make a new change next week, or to reuse the change from calendar week 2 because no over-smart seller would see that coming, or to just let it run the same this whole month and work on 4.0.
Wait, people with a Business account pay for that?
$149 for an annual subscription, so not really a hurdle for actual businesses.
What’s more interesting though, is that you can add up to 50 co-workers to your business account to collaborate, etc. You can find the info in the help pages, there’s also an extra ToS version for Fiverr Business.
What’s more interesting though, is that you can add up to 50 co-workers to your business account
AAAAAA
THIS explains EVERYTHING.
It is same like Canva, one guy pays for account and then he “sells” spot in his team.
Same for most of the online design things.
This is why I’m holding out on making any major changes right now.
All my GIGs were going down and it went down further after I signed up to Seller plus, but now I made changes after one month of thinking…
The only way is up…

OK so here’s how FB works:
they have a dedicated SM of their own.
(spoiler alert: there is some overlap between their SMs and ours)
So while they are able to search on their own, it makes more sense for them to have their SM find the right match. (which is exactly why they pay for this service)
Their SM, picks from a large pool of high performing sellers. The same sellers who populate search results when a FB account searches on their own.
(once again, buyer satisfaction+performance+relevance are the criteria they rely on)
It is also completely up to the SM to suggest a seller that they have personally worked with and can vouch for. (again from the same high-performing pool)
which is exactly why they pay for this service
Wait, people with a Business account pay for that?
That is very strange because I had one “HESHE is a Fiverr Business client” recently and his first message was:
Can you take (link to @frank_d video from the portfolio) and remove/replace the logo in video with mine, in next 6 hours (I kid you not, this is the beautified/simplified version, names changed to protect privacy).
So he is business client?
I have a lot of profile names with blue thingy next to them in the inbox, all converted to orders but there is no significant change in order amount or income.
Though if you don’t update one set of things at a time and give enough time to see results you won’t really know which of the things might have improved things (got more orders). eg. whether having gigs with 0 tags that are in the title helped or made it worse.
Some of my gigs literally have no choice but to repeat in tags what is in the title so I did not change all of them drastically.
And when I read here stats that people are sharing all my GIGs are underperforming all the time this entire year because I never had more than 1-5 clicks per day.
My all-time best selling GIG peaks at 8-12 clicks.
But all my GIGs are in the most overcrowded categories.
Promoted, results first 24 hours

I get a few of those, but I also seem to be getting a lot of business buyers lately too.
Do business buyers have a specific tag that I’m unaware of?
Let me work on delivering an order, and I will post a lengthy reply.
Thank you to everyone who is contributing to this topic!
Given the sheer effort you put into each of these posts, I’m just thankful you’re taking the time out of your already busy day to help everyone out.
Each gig (5 gigs) now has double the impressions or more - one gig got more impressions yesterday than the other six days combined. Clicks have increased similarly and I have had more messages from people today than the past five days. Keep in mind that this is WITHOUT promoted gigs being on - so the increase is really substantial in comparison.
Fiverr decided to just randomly edit the subcategories in my category which has lead to more impressions and clicks but lower orders and messages for some reason. I’ll think about changing tags in a week or so depending on how things play out but for now, my regulars are helping me get by.
Hmm, that’s quite unfair for the sellers, if it’s true.
I’ve definitely felt that too. I had 4 messages from new users come my way and I only managed to covert one since the other 3 didn’t have anything to do with my service or were just asking for my availability for a later date. Things just suddenly got real quiet from the next day. Hopefully, @frank_d could chime in on this because right now this doesn’t really feel “fair”.
Do business buyers have a specific tag that I’m unaware of?
Next to the name on top of inbox and left too.
I changed/updated my metadata, tags and mandatory requirements, also twigged descriptions and pricing a little.
And now I activated promoted Gigs.
Will see in a month results.
Last month was 538$ profit. Goal: double that.

Hey gang!
I have been watching this conversation from the sidelines these past few days, as I am still trying to figure out what my new strategy needs to be, now that things are once again shifting.
(at the same time I am experiencing some mild burnout for the umpteenth time since Covid-19 first came into our lives)
I will try to reply to everyone who mentioned me, and I will also start sharing some updates of somethings that were off in my initial assessment and some new information I picked up along the way.
Let me work on delivering an order, and I will post a lengthy reply.
Thank you to everyone who is contributing to this topic!
Thank you for everyone who is contributing to this topic!
Thank you for starting all of this.
I edited gigs based on some of what has been said here, mainly tags and some of the metadata things.
I just did the same… we shall see.
On some GIGs, I could come up with logical tags that are not in the title, but for some gigs, I just had to be extra creative (aka put anything that is not in the title).

Yes I could have done that if fiverr didn’t change the system. Now I can’t do that 😕 I didn’t start hitting that point till recently. The majority of money has to go towards surgery anyway.
And anyway that dosen’t add up. Yes I would have technically made 100000 dollars in two years but that’s not taking into account that what I’d have to pay in bills and living expenses so it would take a little longer than two years…
It depends where you live. 1000$ a month covers food, utility bills and rent for a villa with swimming pool here.
And you have 4000$ to put in savings.
- 25
-
This translates to what income? If your income was over 700$ every penny above that should go into savings accounts or investment. If you had 6 sales a day you should invest them, convert that earnings into passive income.
About $5000 a month… And I have saved the majority of my money but that’s for important surgery.
You act like building passive income streams by investing your money is easy. Without an ENORMOUS upfront investment you don’t even stand a chance. Even if you avoid real estate and go on sites like flippa to buy online business you need like a good near hundred thousands to get anyhting you could live off.
I tried investing my money in tshirt designs, stock music and other sources of making passive income from content. But the market is insanley oversaturated, you barely stand a chance. Even with selling content not on a marketplace you need enormous amounts in ad spend to make even a dent.
$5000 a month
with 5000$ a month on average over a course of 2 years you can save up to 96000$ and buy a condo and rent it out - passive income.
The CEO of some companies in my country do not have that salary.
5000$ is close to the annual salary here.
Boy, if I got 5000$ in one month of Fiverr I would go on vacation for 11 months 😃

Because fiverr would become an unsastainable source of income for them due to the drop in income and they will need to find a new job.
I know I wont be able to survive with this income drop so will have to find a job.
Well… its only been like this for a few days. I’ve went from like 6 sales a day to like 0 - 1 which if it continues like this will be unsatainable.
drop in income and they will need to find a new job.
That is not Fiverr, that is life.
I started offering my services on Fiverr after working in the same place for over 14 years and stopped due to pandemic in April last year.
So by your logic, I should not be getting clients and orders, someone who was here before me should, because every order I get is an order the ancient Fiverrian lost.
6 sales a day
This translates to what income? If your income was over 700$ every penny above that should go into savings accounts or investment. If you had 6 sales a day you should invest them, convert that earnings into passive income.
Plus I though you are here from 2012-2016 around those years. You are here only from 2018. So practically there are 8 years of sellers here on Fiverr offering what you offer and you took their potential buyers.

This will effect everyones income as everyones impressions will go down. Like I said good sellers will be forced to quit fiverr and find jobs elswhere as they wont be able to sustain on the significantly lower income.
Sorry but at the moment you have +24 orders in queue. Most sellers here on forum never had that, ever. We get like 3-8 orders a month tops.
This will effect everyones income as everyones impressions will go down.
How? If the system keeps rotating and putting the best performers to certain buyers, it can only be a good thing.
The marketplace will just become full of low-quality low-earners.
That is Fiverr from day one, only now it is more pronounced due to pandemic.
Because the drop in income will make the good sellers leave.
Why would you leave? Plus Fiverr can stop being profitable at any given moment due to any given reason, working and depending on just Fiverr is a risky manouver.
You can start Youtube channel with tips and tricks on how to work on Fiverr. It seems to work now, people are getting views and subscribers like crazy.

I’m late to the party and I wasn’t sure if I should jump on it but fine, here are my 2 cents:
I did notice around November December that things changed a little bit and that algorithm was almost like predicting if I’m tired or if I have more resources to deliver more orders.
It seems to be very responsive nowadays to even slightest changes in your behaviour which I really like.
I noticed that if I deliver 2-3 orders even just a day earlier I immediately get a lot of impressions and a lot of new enquiries in my inbox or orders almost right away
If my orders got accepted without revisions then it has similar effect
However if I do have orders stuck in revisions then I start noticing that I don’t receive so many new inquiries anymore.
I didn’t see any difference with notifications “your buyer is awaiting your reply for x hours”. Because sometimes they are just the last ones to leave a message and it will be ridiculous if we will go “thank you, no thank you, ok prefect, sure great” until I’m the last one to leave the message
I do like that this algo seems a bit more flexible because if I’m overwhelmed something falls through cracks and messages are replied a bit later than usually or it takes a bit longer (but within the timeline) to deliver orders then algo reads it like “seller is busy don’t throw more work their way”. And if you do deliver early and reply fast it seems like “that person has enough resource and time to deliver everything, they are still outperforming, give them more work”.
With old algorithm it seemed that you make one mistake and everything goes to hell for a couple of months. Now it doesn’t seem to be so inflexible anymore.
Though I do think there is still “good old” gig rotation.
If my orders got accepted without revisions then it has similar effect
However if I do have orders stuck in revisions then I start noticing that I don’t receive so many new inquiries anymore.
I attached final drawings. I asked client to confirm all is OK on artwork. Like 10 times. I asked to take two hours to check everything and think about every detail. And come back when they are ready for delivery.
“Everything is great, please send delivery”
10 seconds after delivery - revision request.
To change the order of names.
SCREAMING INTERNALLY.
This AI better get emotionally intelligent otherwise it’ll screw people for procedures rather than actual mistakes.
I want to send her that revision is gazillion dollars.
I hope everyone is wrong and Fiverr account is not affected by revisions… ()
Order is over, I got review. If I respond now that will make it my 100th.
But I will wait it out.

First of all, contact the Fiverr support team before you create an account. They might help you with this, but I’m not 100% sure. I remember you cannot offer the same category services in the two accounts
Try to search forums. You can find threads related to this.

Inspired by me my sister created a Fiverr account
My brother or sister can learn the same thing from me that I do.
- We are using same network.
- We are using different pc and phone.
- In future we can’t sell any service to each other and can’t use same payment service. We do not do it in future.
- You can not sell the same or similar services on Fiverr if you are on the same internet.
You have to get each own internet.

can you send me the link ? i am facing the same problem
This is over 4 years long. She and you do not have same problem. Check the date before posting.
- 7

Just check the screenshots from everyone here, exact same sellers on First page.
Morning today, Europe. Searched for “backlinks”
Same thing happens no matter what you search.
If you search “whiteboard” you get same results for years, slightly shuffled around the first page.
I have been checking logo category and first page doesn’t change for years no matter where you log in. Incognito. Different computer. Different time zone.

When you are doing test you must do it only if you are on stable internet.
Also you had two times to attempt before the 90 days option.
Now you have no option but to wait 90 days.
- 12
-
Yes, I know.
What is the problem?
You open Illustrator or Inkscape and copy paste logo and place it in boxes presized to fit social media banners and profile images.
Then do the same in business cards and notebook template.- 10

Yes, I went to check your GIGs to see what is it under animated whiteboard to try to understand the mental perspective of this.

No, I did not say that, I just can’t grasp what to put under tags for one of my main services. Everything is covered in the title so there is nothing more to say about the service. For example
“I will remove background from your photo in Photoshop”
Tags: image modification, image tampering, pozadina removal, … back removal,
This will take some time to figure out.

This falls under “random words” to me. If you put just “medical” as tag does that mean F3 is going to combine buyer that typed whiteboard medical in search to that listing?
Wonder who is going to be the first to update their tags like this so we can see what that looks like.

So if your title is “I will make an animated explainer video” none of your tags should be “animated explainer video”.
So what should the tags be? Something random? or grammatically twisted? Animation explaining motion picture?
Oh, I have to get video link to that last webinar ASAP.

You are wrong.
I got the answer, cause fiverr already charged me.
thats 60% of your order amount.
for example
Order amount = 100$
Fiverr default = 20% of 100$ = 20$
Your Amount = 80$
Loan Percantage = 40% of 80$ = 32$
Your available balance = 80$ - 32$ = 42$
Thats the exact process
Thank you
??
Did you read the thread I linked?
It is explained there in the following posts.
What you wrote is the same as explanation there.
But glad you figure it out.
- 9
-
Yeah, this is simple enough for the explanation.
Interest is 13.6% that I am able to calculate. And from each order 40% will be deducted - 20% is their usual fees and 20% is used to repay the loan.

Not an angry post but :D.
I did not open Fiverr forum in two years I think 😄
Not sure why but today I wanted to see is there something happening and only to witness full blown Armageddon 😄
I did not get any email, any info, and I was on Fiverr every now and then and nothing was there indicating any change.
Checked my new score, All green except Success score 😄 😄
I see a lot of people from the past (the OG's) are still here so hope you are all doing great in life (besides the thing with Fiverr now).
All the best to all, and see you maybe in next 2-4 years 💝
