  1. Fiverr keeps 20% of tip simply because bad intentioned sellers started to charge just $5 per orders, and ask fat tips (which didn't had 20% feed in the past), so they could take more money out of fiverr.
  2. same here So, I have 529 orders in the last 90 days, and they say I dont have orders enough to have a score? I contacted many times fiverr support that there is something wrong/bugged with my gig and they say it's all good. Lets see if sending this image to them, now they do something. EDIT: In the past 14 days, my gig went from top of first page to the bottom of the last one, I wasn't allowed to promote my gigs anymore and I lost my "REPEAT BUYERS" badge in my gig, all the same time. Contacted support and they said there was nothing wrong. I got no warnings, accordingly with support, also no issues with my gig. They just don't accept my gig may be bugged.
  3. Top Rated Seller are manually picked. What you got was just the possibility to chosen by fiverr staff. It could take months, years or forever. Fiverr team now decides if you become a TRS or not.
  4. the good and old copy and paste. I see a lot of this in gigs too
  5. Fiverr platform is a place where you can offer your services. This isn’t a place where you wait they do this for you. If you wait someone doing your job, then you wont succeed, I’m sorry. Fiverr promotes the gig they believe will bring more profits for their company, like any other company does. If you believe you creating a gig, and then is fiverr responsibility to promote your services, I believe you are not in the right place.
  6. People come to fiverr thinking that just creating a gig, they will start selling and become successful. They don’t know that it’s more competitive than in “real” world. They don’t know that they need to promote their services if they want to be successful, like in any other place in the world. This is the most competitive online marketplace in the world for services. These sellers are not patient and will never be successful anywhere. People who think that sitting and waiting after crating a gig is the answer, I’m sorry but most of these will give up. Of course some sellers have lucky, they get some good placement, good impressions and start to do a lot of sales quickly, but it’s less than 1%. To be successful at fiverr there are only 3 tips? Promote your service.Work hard to deliver better than any other.Be patient. The results will come. It’s not only here at Fiverr, but at any other place in the world.
  7. First of all, fiverr is a place to work and earn. While sellers earn, fiverr earns too. Why would they allow people to give service for free, while they spend millions to maintain such marketplace? In other words, fiverr would be spending with you just to you give free works. Nonsense, right? Second. To get rated, you muse have an order. And there is no free orders, so you must charge. Fiverr is a place to work, not to a charity marketplace. My honest suggestion: You should worry on improve your gig, profile, skills, marketing and promotion, instead being worried to give works for free to get some rates. Buyers are worried on getting their orders worked properly, not in getting work for free.
  8. you can use the same WiFi connection (IP), but you can’t offer the same services. Or both accounts will be blocked. You can’t also order from each other, because it would be consider a rating system manipulation.
  9. This is really simple to answer: Fiverr fees aren’t only for their profits, but also external expenses like any other company which deal with money transactions. Fiverr pay taxes, employees, Energy, algorithm creation, Fiverr platform/site, Customer support, rent, etc etc etc. Nothing of this is free. These $2 fees, we must understand that there are also cancelled orders, refunded and charge back orders, etc etc etc. But you may think that they should get it from their 20%. Of course not! This is their profit. Even if you think it’s too much, seller just need to raise your prices 25%. So they will earn the same amount of the order price they have today. Even after this, if you think that fiverr is greedy, I believe the greedy eye is on the other side. Sellers do their money by working, fiverr do their money by offering the best platform for online/remote services. Me, as seller, I don’t think it’s greedy. I know that fiverr does a lot of money over their sellers, but if these sellers think that the are not earning enough, they should just raise their prices, like any other company has to do to make profit with their products. In resume, most of sellers doesn’t set their hourly wage. And the calculation should start from profit, not for the initial offer.
  10. its completely against TOS to use buyers request to promote your gigs. Buyers requests are for BUYERS to place their requests, not SELLERS promoting their gigs.
  11. For me, it makes no difference, because I seek for long term relationship with fiverr. Anyway, you can change if for 7 days by becoming a Top Rated Seller. It’s not easy but it’s possible
