Hmm. The i9 form is usually not sure for contractors, only for regular employees. Read the IRS regulations. It says nothing about independent contractors. But I’m not surprised Fiverr is doing this. If you follow the news you know that states like CA are forcing gig companies to make contractors regular employees and give them benefits. I’m betting Fiverr’s legal team is anticipating this is going to happen at some point in the future and they went to be ready for it
