  1. Fiverr suggests this: Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010949038-Tips-and-tricks-Before-creating-your-Gig Unrelated to that, did you make your gig video, or did someone else make it for you? (By the way, just as an FYI: you only get 10 posts per day on the forum, so try to make them count.)
  2. Getting attention is only half the battle as a freelancer. Sign spinners get attention, doesn't mean they get sales. People have to want what a business is selling, and you're competing with many native writers, and AI itself. I'm not saying you cannot be a Seller on Fiverr, but you should reconsider the service you are offering.
  3. I'm guessing you're using something like Grammarly or AI to fix your writing in your gigs to be error-free. While I'm grateful you haven't claimed to be native/bilingual, please also don't state you are fluent in English when you are not. The correct level, based on your three posts so far in the forum, would be 'conversational'. Error-free writing. "Please, what do buyers expect from professional grant writers?" "I based on grant writing write grants, and it hasn't been long since I created my gig. Please, can would anyone help check if my gig is alright?" "Recently started joined Fiverr newly, and hope I am welcomed, my fellow sellers. You can get your professional grants, grant proposals, and research done through my, I do write quality grants writing., I am always available when should you need one. Thanks guys. Alternatively: "Recently started on Fiverr newly, hope am welcomed, my fellow sellers. You I can get write your professional grants, grant proposals, and research,. I do write quality grants, am always available when if you need one help. Thanks guys."
  4. Sounds like an entitled, nit-picky, Bad Buyer, who's first message was just 'hi', and who thinks he or she is doing a Seller a favor by providing them more work, thanks to not having any clue what they actually want nor the actual amount of work/talent that actually does into whatever they're buying.
  5. Please cite this at the HEAD of any post you make that uses AI-generated text. https://community.fiverr.com/forum_rules/ #4
  6. These are not mutually exclusive. Fiverr NEVER shares information on, nor results of, investigations. Investigations also take time. How long ago did you first reach out to CS? It's not that Fiverr doesn't want to get rid of bad Sellers. It's contracts. I suspect the problem is that this order was from a year ago. You agreed (at the time) that the order was complete. In Fiverr's view, the contract was complete. Now you are claiming a breach of contract, while at the same time saying the order was fulfilled. Until now, you were a satisfied customer. Yes, Fiverr wants return Buyers. It's why the site is set up to minimize barriers to buy. Unfortunately there's the 'human element' to mess things up. Fiverr has no barrier to entry, on either the Seller nor Buyer side. Unless he was an amateur. That would explain the high cost, if the Seller didn't keep the project, as it would have to be rebuilt. That wouldn't explain why he's holding your site hostage, though... Could you elaborate on this? Do you mean that you cannot message the Seller though the Fiverr system? If so, is the Seller's profile still up? If not, then it's possible that the Seller was indeed banned, and the block is because the profile no longer exists.

  8. Welcome to the Fiverr forums. I would suggest starting here: https://community.fiverr.com/forum_rules/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/278683-new-to-the-forum-welcome-here-are-5-tips-for-efficient-forum-use-–-how-to-make-the-forum-work-better-for-yourself-and-for-everyone/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282146-how-to-be-successful-on-fiverr-common-questions-answered-and-a-collection-of-great-posts-that-helped-me-achieve-trs/
  9. Have you been following the News category here in the forums? There have been a LOT of new changes over the last month, and will be more over the next few. Reviews are not the only factor in Fiverr. Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs
  10. The rules are at the top of every forum page. I'm sorry to hear you're going through this, but Fiverr Staff are rarely on the forums. We on the forums only have your half of the story, which is why naming other users isn't permitted, as they have no way to defend themselves. On-topic: If 'database' wasn't a part of the original Order contract when you ordered from the Seller, then it's perfectly in the Seller's rights to request payment. (That said, if the Seller is requesting payment outside of the Fiverr platform, yes that is a ToS violation.) If the Seller is requesting an unusually high amount, then... yeah, there's a major problem. Fiverr cannot force the Seller to give what it doesn't have access to. The only other approach I can think of that you can take is that the Seller failed to deliver the original product, since they've rescinded your access. The problem is that the order was 'completed' a year ago, and might not be eligible for cancelation. (See the Terms of Service section 5.1, and Payment Terms section 6.) As for changing your review on the Seller... I'm not sure. the ToS section 5.3 and the linked Help Center page aren't much help, I'll agree, unless there is, quote, "a clear terms of service violation". About the only other thing I can caution in regards to Customer Support is to NOT open multiple tickets. They really don't like that. You could try to politely request they escalate the issue. --- I know you're out of posts for today, they should refresh in 24 hours.
  11. For sake of honesty (and saving time), it really doesn't matter. Your gig is your selling point, not your username, and if a potential Buyer is interested enough to click on your gig, they will (as you observed) see your display name. It's like a company and a brand name owned by that company. If someone wants Oreos, they're not going to look for the "Nabisco" on the package. (Well, unless they're worried about counterfeits, but if they're that conscientious, they'll know what to look for.) Buyers on the forums have almost never said that they look at a username as criteria when they are looking to buy. The one time I can recall it coming up, it was because the username was either profane or crass (been too long, can't remember which), and even then the complaint was that it was even allowed by Fiverr. Nothing about the services that user was offering.
  12. SWOT analysis, huh? But just the 'W'? Hard to define without the rest. So: Strengths: First mover advantage, back in 2010-ish (you can check Wikipedia for the basics). From what I've read, it's fairly easy to use as a Buyer. As a Seller, I think it's also gotten a bit easier to navigate, and I've read fewer posts about some bugs. Has a global talent base. Weaknesses: mediocre reputation. Granted, most mass-scale freelancer sites struggle to a degree, but Fiverr has no barrier to entry and thus attracts a LOT of less than reputable folk, both Buyers and Sellers. Language barriers are a problem, as are culture clashes. Opportunities: AI. Fiverr embraced this opportunity quickly last year (maybe too quickly). Both for sellers to offer as a service (prompt engineers and fixing what AI generates) and internally in the business. Has helped some with the communication issues. Threats: AI. As a business based on connecting wants with talent, the advent of AI is also a huge threat to the Sellers who provide the services Buyers purchase, especially the middle-talented. AI is still in VERY early stages, so it's unknown how it will develop.

  15. What kind of result are you looking for?
  16. From the many accounts I've read here on the forums, it's actually pretty rare to get an order right away. There's a wide range of 'first order' timeframes, from hours to months to years. Some people never get an order. I glanced at your gig. Not bad, though nothing outstanding. I do think your gig images are a bit too busy, so they don't look very good at the thumbnail scale, which is how buyers will first see your gig.
  17. That is not the purpose of the new Fiverr Agency. It's for businesses that already exist outside of Fiverr. Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/21099496893585-Fiverr-agencies
  18. That right there is one of the things to look out for. Her needs were already unclear, and when you asked for clarification and got no word back, you made an assumption. Never assume.
  19. You've been on the forums since Mar '22, which means (according to your screenshot) you have three more years before you'll hit the limit. I'd actually guess the limit is more of an anti-spam measure.
  20. Firstly, how long have you had Gigs up? Your profile states you've been on Fiverr since September of last year. If you've only been a Seller for a week or so, then getting an order already is good, and I would say 'keep doing what you're doing'. If you've been a Seller for those five+ months, and made no alterations to your Gigs, then you should probably change things up. Your linked gig is in a hyper-competitive category, so earning more orders means you must stand out more than your many, many competitors.
  21. False. External traffic is not shown in statistics. Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010750318-Viewing-Gig-statistics
  22. https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs At a guess, poor private review. There have been some major changes in the review system lately.
  23. Day job: I do tasks, so that my coworkers can focus on their (more specialized) tasks. Freelance job: I help people improve the story they show me, to better match the story that's in their head, in a way that other people will understand and enjoy.
