  1. Welcome to the forums. I would suggest starting here: https://community.fiverr.com/forum_rules/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/278683-new-to-the-forum-welcome-here-are-5-tips-for-efficient-forum-use-–-how-to-make-the-forum-work-better-for-yourself-and-for-everyone/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282146-how-to-be-successful-on-fiverr-common-questions-answered-and-a-collection-of-great-posts-that-helped-me-achieve-trs/ --- I glanced at your profile. You're in hyper-competitive categories, which is the biggest problem. Aside from that: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410883326481-Gig-image-guidelines-Making-the-most-of-your-Gig-image
  2. Nope. Fiverr's algorithm is different from Google's. Here's what Fiverr says on the topic: Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs Also, using copyrighted content in your samples is a Fiverr ToS violation and can get you banned. Fiverr gives newcomers a temporary boost. You're no longer new, so you no longer get the boost.
  3. I'm not quite sure what you're asking. If you're asking if that particular error has happened before, then that was the first time I'd seen it. If you're asking if the removal of clubs has happened before, then no, not since the migration of the forum in '21. If you're asking if the Fiverr staff has messed with the forum setting before, then yes, as that's the only way to tweak settings, since (from what I've read about Invision) there's no 'preview' option to test what things will look like before they are implemented. If you're asking something that's not covered by the previous guesses, then you will need to clarify.
  4. In order to be a seller, you must have one gig. As a new seller you can create a maximum of 4 gigs. Do NOT make gigs for skills you do not have. Please see also: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010451297-How-to-start-selling-on-Fiverr https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010451397-Creating-a-Gig https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011421218-Gig-policies https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410883326481-Gig-image-guidelines-Making-the-most-of-your-Gig-image (Honestly, your gig images are pretty bad. They're completely unreadable at thumbnail size, which is how people will first see them.)
  5. Deliberate? Put simply: find them yourself. Learn who your target market are and go to them, rather than wait for them to come to you.
  6. Please see: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/293011-what-lesson-did-you-learn-the-hard-way-secrets-for-success/ (You were already direct towards this section of the forums. I suggest you follow the advice you were already offered before you ask more questions.
  7. For your consideration: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/73962-impressions-arent-all-that-important-heres-why/
  8. You're very upset, I get it. The first time I fell for a deception that cost me the value of more than a paycheck, I was mad too. I was mad at the person who tricked me, I was mad at the middleman who made the duplicity possible, and I was mad at myself for falling for it. Thinking about it still makes me upset, years later. However: once burned twice shy. It was a very important life lesson for me. Expensive, but important. Do I wish I could have gotten my money back? YES. But it was my own fault for falling for the trick. That said, you're not the only person who thinks Fiverr needs to introduce some form of verification upon signup, and some barrier to entry.
  9. If you're submitting multiple tickets for the same issue, that's considered spamming. How long ago did you submit the tickets? From what I've read on the forums lately, Customer Support is dealing with a backlog.
  10. For your consideration: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282412-what-to-do-if-a-buyer-asks-for-endless-revisons/ (Not sure it fits your exact case, but it's a starting point.)
  11. I don't know how many impressions you're getting, but that sounds like a good conversion rate to me. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Click-through_rate
  12. First thing first: remove your email from your gig image before you get banned for breaking the Fiverr Terms of Service. If that isn't your email address, then you aren't much of a marketer to not know what are acceptable placeholders for mockups. That said, you've picked a sector with a LOT of competition and your samples aren't very good. You can't. Fiverr states: Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs
  13. You've... not really made a very good first impression. If you go to an in-person meet-n-greet conference, you generally would try to find out some information about it first, right? Like the dress-code, or who the attendees are, or the keynote speakers. You wouldn't wear a three-piece suit to business-casual, you wouldn't attend a panel on quilting when there's one on sales and marketing, you wouldn't take the stage yourself if you'd not been invited to do so, and you wouldn't inject yourself into a conversation without reading the room. In an online business forum: read the rules; read pinned posts; read and take note of people who seem to know what they're talking about and verify that they actually do; read source material so that you can cite said sources; read the room. The forum is NOT a blog. "You never get a second chance to make a good first impression." Uncited AI is like bringing a rented Ferrari to a car show and pretending it's yours. Saying 'this post uses AI' is vague, because you've never (as far as I can tell) made any posts that don't use AI, so there's nothing for us to compare. We can't know how much is original, and how much is the AI. You've brought a refurbished car to the show that you've worked on, but then you let a shop work on it, and weren't actually the one to make it run. These forums are full of non-native English speakers/writers. Unless a user is lying about their proficiency, or offers a Gig that requires fluency, no one really cares if their English isn't perfect as long as they show that they are willing to learn and making an effort to learn. Let your conversation skills be authentic. Please. Do a little homework: Spend a few days browsing and reading the forums before you post.
  14. That's the whole point of impersonation. Pretending to be something or someone, to have authority to trick people, for personal gain. So, yes, I can believe it. Deception is nothing new. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complaint_tablet_to_Ea-nāṣir
  15. Do you use a pop filter? I can hear the plosives in your Gig samples. And your inhales. And background noise in your last sample.
  16. This talk is both entertaining and educational (and not too jargon-filled for people who don't know computers). And here is one on user-interface (UX) that is also interesting and has a LOT of good advice. (Advice can apply to other industries.)
  17. Apparently this particular scam has been going on for at least three weeks. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/324503-fiverr-verification-are-they-real-support-team-member/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/324879-beware-for-this-new-scam/
  18. Try typing it in notepad and then copy/paste it into the box. Unless that's what you were trying in the last few seconds of the video. Can't tell, since you don't show the keyboard. Might be a unicode/character issue. The description ought to be in English. (Translation via. Google translate.)
  19. While I appreciate your honestly in stating 'Basic' as your English level, I highly doubt you'd be hired to write, since using AI does not make you a writer, nor artist.
  20. One gig that encapsulates all the specifics, like what you currently have, isn't a bad idea. As a new seller, though, you are permitted to make 4 total gigs, so if you want to make three more that focus on the individual services, go ahead. Using the quilt example, I could have additional gigs, such as one for scrap quilts, or for recycled material, or one specifically for quilt or quilting patterns. Which are individual parts of quilt making, that some buyer might be looking for, rather than a finished quilt.
  21. Again: Yes, and no. At it's most basic, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) works best when what you claim to offer in your gig matches what a Buyer types in the search bar. If I make quilts, and my gig were titled "I will make you the prettiest and most comfortable bed covers and blankets" while a Buyer types 'quilts' into the search bar, then my gig wouldn't be considered a match, even though what I make is exactly what they are looking for, and even if I already had numerous reviews. That all said: You are responsible for your own gig's success. Don't rely solely on Fiverr. Do market research. Know who your target market is. How do you define 'perfect'? If you take your own gig video for example, I for one would not call it 'perfect'. And I already pointed out the problem with your gig images.
  22. That is a super short description. Here, this is what Fiverr suggests: Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010452317-Best-practices-for-new-Fiverr-sellers-Gigs Your main sample is a tad repetitive. You had a build at ~ 13 seconds, with a tad of variance, but then the rest was more of the same. I don't have the best ear, but it sounded like there were only two cords. The gig image is also VERY squished in thumbnail form, which is how people will first see your gig. Here: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410883326481-Gig-image-guidelines-Making-the-most-of-your-Gig-image I was going to listen to your other samples, but the very next one contains profanity, so I'm skipping analysis for that one. (If you're okay with that kind of work, maybe put it in the FAQs, not the samples, unless that's your target market.)
  23. I follow and am subscribed to several 'educational' channels on YouTube (breakdowns and analyses, video essays, conference and convention panels and keynote talks, debunks and how-to, SCIENCE). Some of them are directly related to my niche, while some are a bit more on the for-fun side. Even so, even the 'for fun' ones frequently have applications outside their industry. It's something I leaned in college: No industry operates in isolation. It's all one big connected web, and what affects one WILL affect others, if in different ways on a different scale. To borrow a quote: "Those who don't know their history are doomed to repeat it." Since YouTube is on the 'permitted' list, here are a few channels in my list: https://www.youtube.com/@companyman114 (~10 minute videos essays on a WIDE variety of companies) https://www.youtube.com/@NDC (NDC Developers Conference (software & coding)) https://www.youtube.com/@Gdconf (Game Developer Conference) https://www.youtube.com/@audiodevcon (Audio Developer Conference) https://www.youtube.com/@PracticalEngineeringChannel (basics of everyday infrastructure design) https://www.youtube.com/@CharacterDesignForge (drawing, character designing) https://www.youtube.com/@HelloFutureMe (story writing) https://www.youtube.com/@8bitMusicTheory (videogame music study) https://www.youtube.com/@TechnologyConnections (everyday electronics) https://www.youtube.com/@HowToCookThat (kitchen and food science) https://www.youtube.com/@standupmaths (numbers comedian) (okay this one is almost strictly for-fun) This is not to say I watch everything they all put out, and they're not all strictly-educational, but I think it's a decent selection and most people might find at least one of the channels interesting to them.
  24. Welcome to the Fiverr forum. I'm not a VO, so I couldn't tell you any specifics of what could be improved. (The compression issue is already known and complained about.) Maybe some video of you recording in your booth? You're competing with AI now, so showing that you are a real person might help. --- Unrelated, but in reply to the question you posted in the other thread: We see a lot of that on the forums. Most people here are not native-English speakers/readers, and so ask a lot of the same questions. The main problem, though, is that they think posting on the forums will help them, because someone told them so. This leads to a lot of posting-for-the-sake-of-posting by people who don't actually care if their question is answered. (Sometimes they don't even care about the question they ask.)
  25. There is a great deal of discussion on this topic on the forums right now. No one knows the Fiverr algorithm, and it's currently and constantly being ajusted. That said, the answer is probably 'yes'. https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs
