  1. Yes, I do mark them "Buyer not credible/suspected spam" if they are not genuine buyers.
  2. Buyers used to post jobs on "Buyer Requests" but that was discontinued, and replaced by briefs that are supposed to be custom selected and sent to the sellers whose gigs are a match. However, I don't know if these are sent to new sellers, and most are not relevant anyway.
  3. As a seller, I find most briefs I receive totally unrelated to the services I offer. They are not well-personalised at all and many are just from new sellers trying to promote their own services. They don't seem to be screened at all.
  4. I never liked the buyer request feature but I am sure it was well-used by new sellers on the platform. The "briefs" feature was a good idea, but unfortunately, the seller isn't given enough ability to stipulate what type of work they provide. I rarely get a brief that matches my skills or what I provide. Most want translation services or things that are totally irrelevant to me. About half the briefs received are, wrongly, from new sellers trying to sell their services.
  5. I am getting two or three buyer briefs every day, but most either don't match the services I offer, and 3 out of every five are from sellers incorrectly using the service, not from buyers.
  6. You have to select a category of buyer requests that matches your niche otherwise nothing will show up. Have you done that?
  7. You may have to just tell this buyer you will not provide any more revisions. See what happens. If he cancels the order or says he isn't happy, you may just have to cut your losses and never accept his business again.
  8. If you offer unlimited revisions you just have to endure this and keep providing revised work until the buyer accepts it. I never offer more than two or three revisions because otherwise it eats into any money you make out of the sale and you will end up doing extra work for nothing. I have only ever had one buyer request more revisions than I offered in the gig. After that I added an extra to my gigs charging an extra $5.00 for each additional revision.
  9. I haven't been sent a suitable brief yet, but they seem to be getting closer to what I offer recently. Usually their budget is way off track, or the brief is too vague. Let's hope the feature is still being perfected.
