  1. Think I'm a bit late to the party here, but thought I'd drop a message. I'm Steve from the UK. Top Rated Seller in the Resume/CV writing space. Just getting to grips with this new forum. Hopefully I'll pick up some tips along the way, and find ways to make my freelance journey sustainable and rewarding.
  2. Sorry to hear that. I appreciate how stressful and/or frustrating it can be. This is why I'm trying to educate myself on reasons that may be underpinning the drop, and any potential strategies I can implement to elevate my profile once again (beyond generic advice). I hope things pick up for you shortly.
  3. Hey I hope you don't mind me piggybacking your comment. I'm in a very similar position to the one you describe in your post. Top Rated Seller, 1.3K+ positive reviews (5* overall across nearly 3K orders), and my clicks have dropped from hundreds daily to less than 10. I'm currently looking into my options for improvement, but I wonder whether you ever experienced an uplift in your sales following this lull? I understand there are 60 day and 90 day cycles in play, so I'd appreciate an insight from someone who has experienced a drop themselves.
  4. This is fantastic additional information, for which I am genuinely grateful. Based on your insights (and those of others), I suspect the key issue has been an unusually high cancellation rate (due to being fiverr's choice). I'm not aware of any issues or negative interactions with clients (I always bend over backwards to accommodate them where possible) that could have led to a significant decline in private feedback, but of course, I can't ultimately know. Anyway, the bi-cycle process makes absolute sense. It's been almost 90 days since my gig/visibility plummeted and the cancellation rate has been reduced significantly, while the work I have delivered has been well received, so my fingers are crossed for an improvement once the next 90 day review window opens.
  5. Thank you for taking the time to provide additional insights - it really is greatly appreciated. These 'secret' questions/feedback in particular are enlightening, as I wasn't clear on the specifics. I'm not aware of any issues with clients of late that would have translated into disappointing private feedback, but of course we ultimately can't know whether this is the case. Likewise, the 4.7 review was absolutely understandable, but I'd rather hope that 1 review isn't enough to tank a seller's profile to the degree mine has. Based on your insights and others who have kindly contributed to the conversation, I suspect this is likely due to a few additional cancellations (having been fiverr's choice) and potentially lower than usual private feedback (though this is speculative as I have no way of knowing). Thanks again for all your insights!
  6. I'm not sure whether I'm replying the correct wat, so please excuse my ignorance if not. Again, I just want to thank you for responding to my previous message. For obvious reasons, I have read extensively about ways in which to boost my profile and horror stories about gigs dying, but the majority are from new sellers. I'm finding scant information for more established sellers experiencing a dip. Owing to the, much of the information for boosting profiles is either generic or irrelevant (i.e. keep working on your craft etc). So, while I'm now at a total loss as to what to do to boost my visibility, I at least hope that things will correct themselves eventually. I wonder whether you would be kind enough to clarify (if you can) what you mean by buyer satisfaction rates. My ratings are 5* across thousands of projects and visible metrics all sitting at 100%, so the issue will likely emanate from some metrics I am unable to see. My best guess to date is that a few cancellations have caused an issue (as I was fiverr's choice I was receiving numerous orders daily which sat outside the scope of my gigs, or which requested immediate delivery, and which I had no means to satisfy). While I always endeavoured to avoid cancellations, these became unavoidable. My remaining hope is that once my cancellation ratio returns to 0, I will either experience a boost based on my continued good performance or at least become eligible for Seller Success/Gig Promotion. I've been accepted into the Fiverr Business pilot, so maybe that's the best avenue to explore.
  7. Thank you for your valuable insights. As a TRS whose gigs have plummeted to near zero for no discernible reason, I'm now on the steep learning curve towards finding out why, and more importantly determining what I can do to climb back up the ladder. With specific information regarding algorithms and metrics being wilfully opaque, I greatly appreciate your insights - they're a great starting point for my research.
  8. signature9, it's funny you mention this because my situation is identical to yours. I'm a Top Rated Seller with about 1.3K 5* reviews, and have consistently ranked on the 1st or 2nd page for my niche. I typically received 200 or so clicks daily and multiple inquiries. I was selected as fiverr's choice for a couple of weeks, then immediately I fell off the radar. Since then, my clicks are 4-20 per day with virtually no inquiries or orders. I can't find my gigs through standard searches (I think I'm below page 20 which is where the search ends). However, my gigs are active because I can search by seller level and I'm the very last listing in the TRS list of approximately 45. Anyway, I'm sorry I don't have anything meaningful to contribute here, other than things have been quiet for me since the 3rd March and show no signs of improvement. I have reached out to customer support, but as expected, there's no further insight they can provide (other than I haven't contravened any rules/guidelines). I'm now running low on orders for the first time in years, so weighing up my options. I think the Promoted Gigs option has promise, though this would be speculative, and of course has no guarantees. Failing that, I'm hoping I can purchase some services to increase my visibility, and hope that with a little boost, my previous record of quality will entice new clients to purchase.
