  1. Similar story, started 2017 got pro status in 2021 I believe or 2020. I have many colleagues that I was on par with years ago, I became TRS and PRO they are level 2, I make much more money per order they make more money overall. IMHO one of the big issues is the 100 USD starting price. I am a translator, my prices are high already, so for 105 USD I offer 1500 words (about 3 pages). But the majority of one-time buyers do not need 3 pages translated, and not all of them realize they can reach pout for a custom offer below 100 USD.
  2. I am a bit confused and disappointed. I have asked about this in recent years, as I realized my gig dropped in ranking even after a short time off. Sometimes taking weeks or months to recover, and all this time Fiverr employees assured me that "This does not affect your rating or visibility, that would not be fair". So now you admit that it did very much impact the gigs.
  3. Yeah that is the only thing I noticed in the one gig, likely some issues in the descriptions as well.
  4. Details on the gigs please, as in - what do you offer in the gig descriptions.
  5. Sorry, but this is not useful, can you share your profile or the gigs themselves? The devil Is in the details.

  7. Not quite correct that these are the only two. Add Argentina to the list.Ha, didn’t know that, thanks for the correction 🙂
  8. Most of us did not get any other notification other than this post. I agree, I got to go on stage and blow a kiss to @frank_d! Haha, I was there to witness that glorious moment 🙂
  9. Sorry, did not that is not how you apply, I just filled out the application form I got in the notification, my bad!.
  10. Apply for it, it is awesome and the kickoff event was a blast for everyone 🙂
  11. Not quite, this is geared towards the top performers on the website, and as such it is a very small fee to pay for a lot of service. I have been working with the customer success team before Seller Plus, and even though I was already an established seller at that point, it brought me a ton of benefits and insights. People were similarly sceptical with “promoted gigs” but they turned out to be a great tool.
  12. Rhode NT1 (kit) and a scarlett 2i2 Interface 🙂
  13. There are mechanisms to prevent double taxation from happening, you must report all the taxes you paid and your income to the US authorities if you are a US citizen abroad, that is true. You do not have to pay twice in most parts o f the world. For example in Germany there are special provisions for US personas, even in Serbia where I currently live, your bank asks you if you earn your money in the US to be able to take that into account. By the way the USA and Eritrea are the only two countries in the world that enforce income tax even on expats… So much for the “land of the free”.
