  1. Butit can suck if the client has to pay 500 USD on top of the 10.000 USD he pays for my services ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Especially when they planned for the budget to be exactly 10.000, not expecting such a fee.
  2. And I suggest that you read his question again. ๐Ÿ™‚ Fiverr has no exclusivity clause, you are absolutely allowed to sell where ever you want as long as you do not try to get existing fiverr customers to leave and do busines outside of fiverr.
  3. I see your point now, yet I highly doubt that, if you stay within the terms of service and do a decent job you will stay. There are also the success managers that try to keep us afloat at all times, and that constantly help us optimize.
  4. Yeah that is the only thing I noticed in the one gig, likely some issues in the descriptions as well.
  5. Details on the gigs please, as in - what do you offer in the gig descriptions.
  6. Sorry, but this is not useful, can you share your profile or the gigs themselves? The devil Is in the details.
  7. You should contact buyer support with this ๐Ÿ™‚
  8. If these are your real, organic results ( the orders were not placed by friends of yours) these results are amazing! Congratulations! ๐Ÿ™‚ Editing your gigs can drop their rank, so I would wait a little, since you have had 2 orders and are gaining momentum ๐Ÿ™‚ Good luck!
  9. Well I mean, you could surely offer him another solution if he does not want to join FIverr. I can only give you advice on Fiverr here tho ๐Ÿ™‚
  10. He has to register for fiverr, since he is not here yet, you might be applicable to invite him using a special link, that way you save the 20% fee when working with him. image1724ร—207 33.9 KB
  11. Be a professional at what you doBe polite and respectfulHave patienceKeep your word, never promise a customer something you can not guarantee 100%Make sure to communicate in proper English (try using Grammarly or a similar plugin)Treat every person you talk to here, as if you were face to face ๐Ÿ™‚Best of luck ๐Ÿ™‚
  12. That statement is true only in some very limited cases
  13. Oh dear these numbers are awful now that I see them hahahaha
  14. As a Fiverr shareholder and fanboy, I beg to differ. Fiverr is not only the largest freelance platform, I is running circles around all of its competitors in the field. You are more likely to see other platforms being acquired by Fiverr in the future ๐Ÿ™‚ That being said, yeah, diversification of income sources is always something you should keep in mind as a freelancer.
  15. Make another gig for the other thing. If you are trying to find a way to get customers out of fiverr- donโ€™t ๐Ÿ™‚
  16. It is off indeed now, there you go ๐Ÿ™‚
  17. image1701ร—847 84.9 KBHope this helps ๐Ÿ™‚
  18. 1st Congratulations! ๐Ÿ™‚ 2nd We all pay 20% on all orders, you can view it as the marketing fee 3rd please do not ever post Customer details on the forum like you did here, and especially do not highlight their name as you did here ๐Ÿ™‚
  19. As a translator working on contractsโ€ฆ you can imagine hahaha Love your cowboy gig BTW ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  20. Ha, now that could have saved me from signing quite a few NDAs hahaha Thank you @enunciator that is very useful information! @tamirsteinberg Well at least you are covered on that front! ๐Ÿ™‚
  21. Only your time really, and sure, someone else might have lost you as an potential customer, but that is a bit of a long shot. And in case you have had an exciting new idea for an app, I am sure you would have had the seller sign a Non Disclosure Agreement to protect yourself, otherwise you just gave him a great new ideaโ€ฆ - EDIT: not needed But since he has not delivered I would not be to concerned that he actually knows what he is doing ๐Ÿ™‚
  22. No. Fiverr is a marketplace, nothing else. Only the vendors are responsible for delivering the work, no one else. Fiverr can merely assist in settling disputes, and your refund is actually a remarkable result. You were at fault the moment you said โ€œyes the seller delivered the goods and I am accepting the deliveryโ€, - you could have requested any proof or partial delivery at least. At that point, you told Fiverr that you have received the service, Again sorry about the time you wasted and the bad experience, but this one was on you, you need to be more careful with whom you work with.
  23. Sorry friend but it is. The site is full of frauds, the confirmation mechanics are in place for a reason. Not to silence you, to compensate you. I get your frustration, I would be frustrated as well, but you got yourself in to the situation, try to make the best out of it nowโ€ฆ
  24. Now your approach I think is great, you know why you do it, you donโ€™t really expect anything, and you are paying for the experience, not for the outcome. I visited a handful of these Card readers, Gypsies, Shamans etc, but only if they can tell the future or talk to the dead, because they all use the same methods, and I love to lead them on and expose them, that way I actually get something for the money I spend ๐Ÿ™‚ PS Donโ€™t know where you are visiting the Carpathians, but Serbia is pretty open in terms of stuff to visit, and you can get a free COVID vaccine in case you still havenโ€™t gotten it (even as a foreign citizen) ๐Ÿ™‚ Enjoy
