  1. Hi, you’re in the top row for your keywords: top row1818×744 326 KBI’m not sure why you aren’t getting orders, unless most people aren’t searching for those keywords. (compose music for animated video) Wow, 😲 thank you, which keywords did you use? Still, I was doing really well before the update and now, my gigs are even better than before, but nothing. I am going to to be promoted to level 2 tomorrow, normally, so I hope things will be better after.
  2. Oh commercial rights, by far my favorite subject. I also did exactly the same, for music. I had my commercial Use License offered as extra, but now I’ve included it in my base price, whic I have increased, by ticking the field for commercial rights. I was also spending a lot of time arguing, explaining, because even those who need one, they usually don’t understand it well. Fiverr’s definition or lack of definition of the license played a big role in that. The only problem is that I did that together with a huge update of my gigs, so I have received only two orders ever since 😦 It was at the same time when all the problems arised with the algorythm update. I hope that will be fixed soon. @gwyneth_galvin I see that you have broadcast rights as an extra. Can you tell me if people buy this extra from you and if they understand it? Or only few do it? Btw I found it a bit strange to be able to define broadcast rights for voice over but not for music (I can define it on my own, so its not a big issue).
  3. That (2) is a bit too neutral of a response if and only if the buyer has the majority of the fault. I totally agree about this: But any situation can be turned to support your side of the story, phrased into a positive, polite one, but still, stating where the buyer went wrong. I would say “I am sorry that it didn’t work out for you. I have sent you several revisions after your remarks and the additional work you’ve requested, and I tried hard to do the best I can to meet your expectations. I wish you well in your future projects.” Then, blocking him and at the end, you can be more harsh on the review you post on his profile, if you need to be more harsh 🙂
  4. Just be careful, there were buyers who complained that they couldn’t open a zipped file. Thank you @catwriter
  5. Well, @imrul334 that was the answer I was looking for! I didn’t thought of a zipped file, it may work. see, a simple answer will do, thanks
  6. @imrul334 No, I’m new to the forum. It’s good to know that, thanks.
  7. OMG you are talking about ethics now?? 🙂 You don’t understand still. But I dont have all day to argue, so I I’m letting go… Those who want I think understand what I am trying to say Have a nice day my dear colleague
  8. Isn’t it possible to disable live portfolio for that one delivery, and enable it again for the next ones? Sorry, I don’t use live portfolio, so I’m not sure. No it isnt possible. Thats the whole point
  9. He can disable live portfolio for that delivery. @catwriter exactly! But that is my point: because of one project like that, he/she must hide the whole portfolio, and loses the right with that to show the other work which may be phenomenal and increase his chances to sell.
  10. I see that you havent enabled the live portfolio on every gig you have? How come? There are activities for which even though you did your best work ever, the context is like that, it will pass bad image anyway. e.g. you create arrangement for music, adding instruments, but the composition itself is horrible. So you dont want to show that because it sound terrible even though you did the best work possible. I would like to CHOSE not to show it. It is not my fault if it is bad. Or imagine a graphic designer that receives color palette he/she doesnt like and thinks its a disaster. He has right not to show that work in his portfolio. It is not his/her fault.
  11. @humanissocial just to avoid misunderstanding, i am talking IF the buyer lets you show the delivery in your live portfolio. I am talking about the portfolio made of accepted deliviries (accepted to be shown in the portfolio from the buyer) how can you say “biased” portfolio. Every person in the world creates custom portfolio consisted of his/hers BEST work, and not every little project he did. Why should fiverr be different? The way you are saying, turns out that every portfolio in the world is biased, only the fiverr ones are “bias free”. Incredible. Fiver’s portfolio is not “portfolio” it is “list of completed projects” I’m seller, you meant “buyer” I guess.
  12. I would love to have a possibility to chose which from my deliveries go to the live portfolio of the gig, instead of like it is now, EVERY delivery. It will be also good to be able to add a photo at least to our deliveries in the live portfolio (I am delivering audio files).
