  1. Yes - exactly, it all depends in the service. Also, unfortunately there are many "fake sellers" (I call them this way) who offer "everything" and profiles of really great professionals just can't be found among all of them. The brightest example was when a guy texted me - he needed to translate a book ASAP (I mean, come on, it's a book - it takes time, efforts) and he was ready to pay really funny money. When I opened his profile, he was a seller too, who offered "Manual high quality translation to all languages". I think it's clear what was going on - someone texted him, and he hysterically started looking for someone who would do the job for the minimum amount of money
  2. I would recommend: 1) Go to youtube - it's free, there are many really great materials - you can improve your listening skills, speaking skills, you can find there many high quality lessons 2) Read books - seriously! READ BOOKS! It will not only help you to improve your grammar skills, but also conversational speech, a lot of new words and new interesting turns of phrase will appear in the vocabulary. Speech will become more intelligent and will become richer 3) Open different websites like New York times, Financial times (or find something that you would like to read about) - it helps to learn modern conversational language
  3. For me December and January was the best months ever since I started to work here. But in fact - too many sellers register on Fiverr every single day. Of course, a lot of buyers register here as well and personally I don't worry about too many new sellers, but perhaps your field is overloaded with sellers and offers, and it's time to learn something new and try out a new field
  4. In this case you needed to report them (if they really told about it), you still can report them - attach screenshots with that messages for customer support
  5. What are you talking about? It's not clear at all. How exactly did they try to scam you?
  6. Basically, Fiverr takes 20% of your income. Let's look at it another way. You pay taxes on ALL of your income, including the income you didn't expect to receive. In the same way, Fiverr takes 20% of all income. And that's fair, and Fiverr warns you about it - you agreed to the rules of the website when you signed up By the way, other platforms takes much more from sellers, so thanks to Fiverr for the good cooperation conditions
  7. This is quite a common type of scam when they ask you to pay to get a job. Also many offer to rent your accounts on Fiverr, Upwork, Facebook and others. Unfortunately, a lot of people fall for this scam. Just remember, that you don't have to pay for the opportunity to work. And never give the access to any of your accounts to anyone.
  8. It's ok - it happens sometime, there is nothing to worry about. Sometimes buyers place an order without requirements, sometimes they place orders by mistake - and in all of these cases, you must cancel an order. But this is just a normal part of freelancing job. Don't worry about it - just move on
  9. It's NOT risky - it's ok. I use VPN sometimes, and also very often I really change location because I travel a lot. And it does not affect the statistics in any way What is against rules? Changing location? Seriously? It doesn't matter where are you when you open Fiverr, and VPN doesn't affect it
  10. Honestly, I don't think that you did it - most of your gigs starts from 5-10 dollars and the number of finished orders is not that huge. Please don't get me wrong - such inspirational stories are much needed, they are the best motivation, but at the very least without a screenshot, they are just empty words
  11. Don't agree - the world already has too many cryptocurrencies and all of them are not exactly stable. But that's not the point. Which cryptocurrency should they choose? It will incur additional costs, and the costs will not be on the Fiverr, but on the sellers and the buyers. Maybe over time they will add it, but you have to understand that this is a very complex process - it's not just a matter of adding a button to a website. It will take time and investment
  12. No - it only shows your level of knowledge\your experience, so the buyer can see your level. But it will never affect your gig rank

    Tipping

I travel a lot, and I can say - it's ok for almost all countries. More than that - in some countries tips are included in your check and even if you wasn't happy with the service, you have to pay. Honestly, I don't see anything negative in Tips - it's a compliment for a great service. I mean, why not? When I was a buyer on Fiverr, I paid tips few times, because I was more than 100% satisfied with the result, when I am a seller, I always happy to get tips and this is not only about the money - It's a kind of recognition of your skills
  14. What do you mean "What do I do"? Just finish it and deliver. But only deliver when you really finished the whole project
  15. Read this forum - here you will find hundreds of topics with tips and tricks
  16. According to hundreds of recomendations from this forum, it's possible you should stay awake at least 48 hours per day, no less
  17. This is only possible with a very good experience of waiting - you should be professional! If you really wait a long time and are already an expert at it, then you can stay awake even 48 hours per day
  18. You should wait more active, please stay awake 24/7 😆
  19. I was happy - I registered here and didn't even open Fiverr. But when I finally decided to work here, I opened website and got my first order the same day - it was a quick 5 dollar task, but my second order arrived the next day
  20. Give them time - customer support team gets hundreds of requests every minute, they are humans like you and I, not machines, they reply step by step. If you really didn't violated the ToS, they will help, just give them time
