    There was no response

It happens sometimes - CS Team receives probably thousands of requests daily, and sometimes we have to send requests twice, sometimes we have to wait several days - this is normal. The main thing is to clearly describe your problem with the location, and ask a question clearly and briefly

You and @newsmike are pretty proud of yourselves I see lol 🙂

Let me re-state it like this...

Yes, it's in their terms and I agreed to it. You're right. But it doesn't mean I have to LIKE it. I should of been more clear.

Then again, I do know it's the price we have to pay to use their platform. Their rules. Not mine.

It is what it is - whether I like it or not. 🤷‍♂️

But you pay tax on any income, including tips. Why does it bother you that Fiverr takes its portion of the income as well? After all, it's a business - that's what they exist for. And tips - it's income, too

  3. Question No.1 Do you want to keep working? Or you will be unavailable?

If you will be unavailable - I'm judging by my own experience. Nothing bad will happen. Yes, obviously while you are unavailable, your impressions will drop - they have to drop, because Fiverr doesn't show your profile, your gigs, since you are not working. BUT when you will be back to work, everything will be fixed in just 1-2 days.

I got trouble receiving my money from client (outside fiverr):

"We need some additional information from you to process the following payment:

"Please provide a document that shows email correspondence or a chat transcript with your client, in which the services provided are clearly stated."

I got the same email - basically, this is not because of some problem with them or something - later I got a reply, that they just need to check that you are not getting money for some illegal activity. I believe they are very careful and want to protect their reputation

  5. I don't know if you guys have ever had to deal with buyers like that. I've had one of my regular buyers do this lately.

I say a price and a deadline. For example, "the total price is $50", and he says, "Make it $40 and send the offer." That is, he doesn't even ask if I agree to do a discount .

How do you deal with something like this? I'm a bit confused, because I DO NOT want to make a discount 😁, and I have to repeat the same price again. And I don't want to be rude, but seriously, what should I say?

    Stay online maximum time🥰

Stay online 30 hours a day, lose your health, and get nothing - that's what staying online can give you.

Create a portfolio instead. Use your time wisely

Again... Stay online for what? It will never help you! Please, stop giving wrong advices. It hasn't helped anyone yet.

  7. It's always fun - I traveled a lot before the pandemic. BUT you should remember, that it's a lifestyle, not a vacation - you have to do your job, and it takes a lot of time. So you need to be very organized. It requires self-discipline. It was my number 1 problem.

At the same time - you can visit a new country every week (depending on where you are), meet new people, and find freelancers communities, and workshops - it's really fun. At the same time I was always concerned about safety of my laptop, of my phone, of my data, I tried to find "safe" connection - it's not safe to use public wifi, so it was another problem for me

  8. All kinds of courses, training, dance groups, workshops, even cooking classes - it's a great opportunity to make new friends.

In fact, since the pandemic began, the lack of communication has become a problem for so many people of all ages. And the way the world works today, it's getting harder and harder to go out in public, and it's easier to just sit at home.

I swear most of the time the people who ask for discounts are the ones that cause the most trouble. 🤣

I also find the ones that value your work the most are glad to pay full price and even generously tip! 😁

Couldn't agree more! According to my experience, those who ask for discounts, usually send the orders for the revision again and again, ask for extra services for free and so on - it's better to say no, because otherwise, you will lose your time and get nothing in return

  10. What about returning buyers? Portfolio? You can even try to promote your gigs on different platforms. I know, the competition is very tough nowadays. There are more and more sellers, new accounts are created every day, and it's really hard to get orders for newbies. But don't give up - if you've already had successful sales, have a couple of reviews, then you have a good chance of succeeding again
