  1. I’m interested in being invited.
  2. Yes, and I was merely stating that her delivery was not partial (and therefore could be delivered) and that I was not referring to delivering a partial delivery, which is what you accused me of stating.
  3. To you, preview may imply incompleteness, but that doesn’t mean that “preview” means incomplete for everyone, especially considering there isn’t anything in its definition that explicitly states it isn’t the product of someone being finished. It’s a matter of connotation. Note also how the seller herself stated that the order was “a preview” and “ready.” Clearly my use of the word was valid (even if not in your world, in the context of this thread).
  4. A preview of a completed order can be done… I know sellers who complete the design and then send it to me for a preview. Also, take the context of the fact that the seller even said she was done with the work. I was correct in what I stated.
  5. This is basically screaming to Fiverr “BAN ME”. You are not allowed to send incomplete deliveries, this can get you a warning or even a ban right away. She said that the work was complete. If something is done and needs client review, it can be delivered.
  6. You could also deliver the preview and just offer a revision to the buyer in case they’d like changes. I did something similar when a buyer didn’t provide adequate information, and the order went smoothly from there.
  7. You can search this in Fiverr’s Seller Center. Here’s the link: https://sellers.fiverr.com/en/article/helping-build-trust-on-fiverr
  8. If you don’t think your work is worth the money people would be paying for it, you might consider taking a Fiverr Learn course or two (if you have the money and something is offered that applies to you) and/or not setting up a gig until you’re confident you can deliver quality. Best wishes!
  9. Nearly 70% of my orders come from the US, and #2 & #3 are Saudi Arabia and Singapore, respectively.
  10. Mine is a mere 8%. Roughly 70% of my orders are from the U.S. with the 2nd and 3rd being from regular buyers in Latvia and Saudi Arabia, respectively. I have a buyer from Brunei in queue right now.
  11. None of these really apply to me. I’m not into commercial fiction. I like literary fiction as well as domestic fiction and psychological fiction. Poetry is pretty nice, and I love hybrid text and stream of consciousness. I’m in love with writing as an aesthetic over substance.
  12. Any seller too stupid to pass the test is too stupid to cheat properly. Fiverr doesn’t even let one leave the testing window.
  13. I believe the skills tests should say. If someone is going to claim to be a certain level speaker of a language, they should be able to back it up. Back when I had a Chinese translation gig, I revealed my 10/10 on all three of the English to Chinese tests. It gave me credibility so that buyers didn’t have to vet me as thoroughly to work on their manuscripts. The same goes for any other skill/knowledge that can be tested.
  14. You’d still have to deal with the 20% commission, though…
  15. …We all know this. There are tons of topics on it. At least put it in the ranting pot.
  16. Y’all need to realize that making a Fiverr account and creating some gigs doesn’t mean you’ll be an instant success and Top Rated Seller making a 6 figure salary within the first month. The seller pool in almost all the fields is heavily saturated with sellers. You’re not special. Knowing this, don’t ask inane questions like “how to get my first order” or “how to get level one in a month” or anything that has to do with “how to” get instant success. Success on this site is not guaranteed. There are tips that can heighten your chances of getting buyers, but nothing is surefire. Also know that all of these tips have already been exhausted and posted in the Tips section, and there’s no need to ask questions the answer to is on the Fiverr site or the Forum. Some things you could do are Familiarize yourself with the Fiverr site (TOS, Seller Support Center, etc.)Take a Learn course or two if you can afford itInvest in yourself and your businessRead before you write.Be patientRead over some of the top forum posts on success if you’re looking for some free professional development. You shouldn’t Ask a question that’s been asked and answered a million times over
