You could invest some time reading a few forum posts about buyer-seller issues to understand how to better handle such troublesome/tricky situations. I shall, thank you for your comments.
  2. I would not have proceeded to work on the order because, clearly, I did not have the additional information needed to fully understand my customer’s requirements/needs. This is a big mistake some seller do, imo. Never do that. As soon as I realize that my customer is not responding to my messages (and that the order deadline is drawing near), I would immediately contact CS and request an order cancellation/extension (if you have hopes that the buyer might contact you in the future). Many sellers, at some point or the other in their Fiverr journey, come across such buyers. Unfortunately, the only thing we can do is contact CS and get the order canceled. The only thing you can do after that is pray/hope 🙏 that the cancellation, somehow, miraculously, doesn’t affect your order completion rate. Irrespective of what your buyers demand of you, always keep the watermark turned on as that feature exists to protect sellers and their delivered products/services. wow, lesson learned. 😦

So I have heard a lot of bad stories about bad buyers on this platform and I would read them and think “Well crikey I hope that doesn’t happen to me” but after only 2 months of being here I am dealing with a pretty bad situation 😦 So I received an order from a customer who purchase 8 logo animations from me for $15 but what I thought was odd is when I went to the order details the customer had given absolutely no information. He had just sent me two different files. one of this logo in black and white and another in green. I immediately asked the customer for more information as to what he wanted and I had no reply. 2 days passed and I had messaged a couple more times. As the delivery time was close to finishing I began to create 8 animations that I thought looked great since I had no idea exactly what the customer wanted. I spent about 4 hours working on this and popped the final animations into a zip file and sent it to the customer. I mentioned on the delivery that since I had no information from him there may be revisions needed and that would be fine, he could simply let me know what he wanted and I would revise. Another couple days went by and then I had out of nowhere a dispute opened against me with the buyer asking to cancel the order 😦 So he did not contact me He did not ask for revisions He did not give me basically any info to work on he did not message me in any way He simply asked me to cancel the order after I already delivered to him in a zip file (Which now I think might have been silly as they are not watermarked) So what can I do? I feel like this customer is going to ruin my stats and reduce my chances of future business 😦 Any help guys?
  4. Actually having re-read your original post. You need to contact customer service. That sounds quite bad.

  6. There are quite a few problems with your gig and I can see why nobody is purchasing… let me run through a couple in my opinion. You have no salesYou have no reviewsYou have no gig videoYour Grammar is not great and it is clear English is not your native lounge.Example I will do any jQuery / Laravel PHP / Wordpress task in just $5. Should Be… I will do any jQuery / Laravel PHP / Wordpress task for only $5. You might think “OH COME ON THAT’S JUST ONE WORD” But buyers have a wide range of freelancers to choose from and if you can’t even get your gig right how will you get their project right? There are a couple other things but… Let’s talk about what you need to do. First you need to get the ball rolling… you need to make some sales… Go and find your target audience where they hang out on the web… forums, blogs, youtube channels etc and promote yourself and get some sales… sales brings sales… Also make a gig video explaining what you do and why people should buy from you.   8. Ohhhh I didn’t know this… sometimes I will update a customer by delivering a wire-frame or a draft so they can make amendments before I continue with the project. I didn’t know that I couldn’t click the deliver button, but sometimes the customer is happy with the first copy… so? Guess I am on a knifes edge here.

  10. Have you tried another browser, for me sometimes chrome doesn’t work so I used internet explorer and sometimes they both don’t work so I used firefox.

This has become a huge problem for me, I upload 1 or two videos per day and the videos can range from 30mb to 200mb and it seems like most of the time is taken not by me doing the work of creating the videos but the long long long time it takes to upload to fiverr. I Upload videos to YouTube often and I have started uploading the files to a secure external hosting website and then sending the customer a link to download the file because sometimes I watch the blue bar slooooooowly move up as it uploads and then it gets to maybe 90% and then starts again… back to 10% … Is it only me who is affected by the incredibly slow upload times?
  13. So I am quite new to Fiverr and I believe I will meet all the requirements for level 1 Except 60 days on fiverr… I will be at about 54 days on my evaluation period. I know the answer is probably a straight forward no but if you don’t ask you don’t get so here is my question. Will I have to wait another month to Evolve Into A level 1 Fiverr Pokemon.Can I ask fiverr to evaluate me on my 60th dayActually, you know as I am writing this I know the answer is going to be no haha I do have my fingers crossed that someone will tell me there is something I can do here lol

I know that my own gig jumps around daily, it’s normal for your gig to move around as other gigs get more sales and more view and their gig jumps and yours might slip until you get a couple sales and your conversion will be higher and then you will be boosted and they will drop below you and the world keeps turning. Ultimately I think we can work hard to get on the first page but you will always move up and down as things change. Same on all websites.
  15. Yes - they have been known to hold sellers to that promise months after the order was completed. Wow! I did not know this 😦

  17. I offer unlimited revisions but only until the order is complete. Does fiverr expect sellers to continue revising after the order is marked as complete?
