  1. I'm sorry 😞 I'm a voiceover artist and I'm currently sick and hoarse; I should pause my gig, right? NOPE, NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN. I made my delivery dates longer (or begged my poor clients for extensions) and removed the same day delivery thing. Now the orders are pilling up and I'm super stressed about it wondering if I will be 100% better by the time the deadlines end. Thanks Fiverr for looking up for us.
  2. I don’t know if this has been talked about, but yesterday I searched my subcategory in incognito mode and all my competitors had dropped from 5. I clicked on some of them and there were a lot of visible new metrics like the value of delivery, etc. Today I did it again and it’s back to normal, but I’m sure what I saw was a glimpse of what’s coming on the 15th…
  3. Let me just offer a different perspective: I do offer free samples IF it’s 2 or 3 sentences. And 99% of the times they end up ordering. however, I’m a voiceover artist. It’s not that hard to record 2 or 3 sentences just to make them happy; but I think that doesn’t make sense with art or design gigs, because it takes a lot more work to come up with a custom sample.
  4. Just to update on my ever-changing SS. Saturday, after 3 5-star reviews, I went from 8 to 7. Since then I had 8 orders and 4 5-star reviews and I'm back to 8. I don't know what to make of it, but at least it's nice to know that, just like it can randomly go down, it can also go up as easily.
  5. Yesterday I went from 8 SS to 7. It still just tells me Communication is having a “negative impact” (not even “strong”). I received 3 5-star reviews since I was an 8. Like, 5 stars on all criteria. Even if they left a negative private review, I’m 100% sure they didn’t complain about communication, wtf. So NO, this does not help me AT ALL, Fiverr. I guarantee you there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with my communication, other than… I mostly communicate in Portuguese. Stupid AI can’t figure it out and I’m paying the price. This new system is bull****.

  7. I would love to know why buyers can close and open new accounts and sellers are banned for life if they attempt to do it. it should be the same for both. Period. Also, I was away all evening and I got a new order 2 hours ago, opened it on the app and now it’s almost midnight, I just came home and I have to turn on my laptop so I can open the new order on desktop as well because if I wait until tomorrow I will get that stupid REVIEW THE REQUIREMENTS NOW email that has apparently been messing with my SS. end of rant

  9. Honestly, we should be very careful when chosing these platforms as our livelihoods. Fiverr is my main source of income, but what if their servers explode or something? I'm exagerating obviously, but it's pretty dangerous to do what I do (and many others do). That thing about putting all our eggs in one basket or however the saying goes...
  10. Somewhere in another post some of us reached the conclusion that YES, that’s another of many bugs that is probably affecting our communication score. Be sure to open the new order not only on the app but on desktop as well. I also get those freaking emails and my communication score is also low. in conclusion, yes, we are paying for bugs that should have been fixed years ago.
  11. There’s nothing wrong with saying that but I would avoid the word “kindly”, as it’s usually used by scammers. Just say “please”.
  12. I see. Yeah, I agree. Their whole REVIEWS ARE UNTOUCHABLE!!! thing doesn’t make sense when we are talking about people’s livelihoods. I think even Google Reviews can be removed when deemed unfair.
  13. I mean, what’s your solution? We can refuse the cancellation forever until they give up but then we have to deal with a bad review. But that’s impossible to avoid, or are you suggesting getting rid of all reviews? That’s impossible, that’s their whole business model. if you’re talking about those orders that are cancelled by CS when the buyers complain to them, I completely agree with you. Orders should NEVER be cancelled, no matter what, without our agreement. But in terms of how the system is designed, I don’t think there’s much to be done
  14. Honestly, now I will and I advise you to the same because at this point I’m suspicious of everything. This new thing is going to turn us into psychotic people pleasers. “Hello yes please thank you you’re welcome let me know if you need anything else thank you you too no problem” 😂
  15. Judging by all the comments I’ve seen here, it’s mostly India and Pakistan sellers, but I’ve also seen US and South American sellers. edit: and a German seller as well
  16. Omg, are you serious? I keep getting that annoying email and I never understood why! My SS is 8 because of Communication! I can’t believe that is why 🤦🏻‍♀️
  17. This is really weird. I keep thinking this is all connected with people using VPN but if what you are saying is true, this doesn't make sense. I use Fiverr like you do and I wasn't flagged. It HAS to be a bug and that's why they haven't announced anything oficially.
  18. Even a day. Imagine everyone that has complained these last 3 days going out of office for 24 hours. Wouldn't that send a message? Edit: or not. I mean, there are only like a hundred people here and there are abour 4 millions sellers. They probably wouldn't even notice it lol
  19. How rating in private is transparent? How I can learn from feedback that I cannot see? This right here is what is wrong with this WHOLE thing. First of all, telling buyers to leave a secret feedback is just wrong, but if they MUST do it and use it to destroy our stats then at the very least we should know WHICH orders were problematic. so we can LEARN and improve. it’s not rocket science.
  20. What is more insane is that they are playing with their income as well. The less we make, the less they make. I. Do. Not. Get it.
