I'm kinda conflicted on this case.
after discussing the scope of the project I correct and reduce the price of my offer. She didn't accept the offer and rightly after, she ask me for update. Told her I won't start the project until the offer is accepted, the scope of the project is way too small to worth a ''sample''(it just a single sprite in iso perpective) and gently told her I won't do the job until I'm garanteed to be paid. Then she start to pester me.
After telling her I won't work for free she tell me that 3 seller already did it wrong; first red flag

3 day later she come back and ask if I can do it for 10$, if she continue to pester should I block her? Hence she doesn't seem to understand that I simply don't work for free and she show too many red flag

Stay away from buyers like this. This will not end well 99% of the time.

90% of buyers who ask for discounts will either revision you to no end, demand free work with threat of your rating, or will simply give you a low rating because they can never be satisfied. The only ratings I've gotten below 4.7 star all came from discounted orders.

That's my opinion on the matter.

This is exactly what I was questioning the folks at Fiverr in a support ticket: how am I supposed to boost my score if my gig has vanished? Their response was quite literal: I should bring in outside traffic to my gig...

This is not ever a valid option. The direct client you have outside of this platform are YOUR CLIENTS ONLY, NOT FIVERR, UPWORK, etc...  Fiverr already takes 20% + fees to bring the customers to you + promote their platform, etc...

If you bring your clients here, you are opening them up to your competition as some may be tempted to browse around your category and find someone cheaper. Also, bringing them here negates any off-platform backup plan you attempt in the case that your account goes south. You should be building your direct clientele and keeping them separate from your freelance site buyers. It's the only way to build a truly sustainable business. Do not put everything into one site, platform, etc... Do not make the mistake of being 100% reliant on a third party.

Thank you I have already did it. Marina

Sharing your gigs on social media directly affects the impressions you see. These are not organic impressions for the most part as anyone who sees your post will be included in the data for your gig as an impression. Most of the time these don't convert into clicks as many of the people seeing your post are not looking for someone to hire.

    I hope this makes sense

Thank you do you approve the thumbnails of my two gig?

They both appear to get cut off at the description text in the thumbnail view in the search. Try resizing them to 1280 x 769

    • Minimum: 712 x 430 px

    • Maximum 4000 x 2416 px

Yours appear to be below the minimum size

Hello, again. I waited for almost a week made some changes to my gig such as the color of my thumbnails to orange. I also created another gig for brochure and magazine design and still have 5 clicks. Do you have any suggestions?

    Greetings

    Marina

    Hey Marina,

Just give it time. I wouldn't change anything else for at least 2 more weeks. You are a new seller and it takes time to get noticed. Once you break out of level 0 things will start to pick up. Level 0 is the hardest level to overcome.

Hang in there, it will come.

    Cheers,

  6. "Your performance is no longer just your own, but is compared to other sellers"

My business model and client base are not the same as any other seller in my category. We may sell the same type of service, but that is where the similarities begin to fall away.

This will be abused. Guaranteed, it already is

As I understood, there is still a chance that the Flagged Account was marked by mistake?

No such mistake should ever occur. This is unacceptable.

To be fair the people in chat at the beginning were unhinged just spamming, makes sense they disabled it.
But yep I agree, not answering much and well the whole "AI is always right" thing really annoys me

Unhinged or not, there were good questions in the chat that they completely ignored. Not a single one has been answered thus far.

Every question they are answering almost sounds exactly the same as the ones from the webinar 2 days ago

  9. They aren't clearly answering anything. They continuously talk out of both sides of their mouths [doublespeak}

Every single question is answered with "No, it doesn't directly affect your score, so don't worry, but it is included in the algorithm that compares you with other sellers in your category from which your score is derived" (not verbatim)

    Also this>>>image.png.5ee380da15115c24c73b1c3898ff6a68.png

They sound like they don't know what they're even talking about, just covering the talking points they were given for the webinar.

This is not transparency - This is a bad joke

    Hi,

I am making a video for my Fiverr Gig but I need to know the perfect size for a Fiverr gig video.
If I made a video about 1920X1080, then it would be perfect for Fiverr gig?
Please guide me how to make a perfect Fiverr gig?

    Thanks
    Kamrul Hasan Noor

1920x1080 will work just fine. Just remember that you will need to cut down on the bitrate quite a bit to meet the 50mb file size limit.

Hi everyone I want to ask that I created an account on fiverr in 2021 but i got sick and couldn't sell my services. Now two weeks ago I published my two gigs and they have very few impressions and no orders. is it because of my old account or some other problem?

I checked out your gigs and there are a few issues. First and foremost is the price of your "I will create seo backlinks dofollow high authority with white hat link building" gig. Since you are a level 0 "New Seller" with no ratings, everyone who would be interested is waiting for others to buy from you and leave a rating before taking the risk. At your current level, you want to compete with others in the same rank which would require you to price your gigs at $5 for the basic package. At $20 you are competing with level 2-TRS who have 500-1000+ 5-star ratings.

The second issue is again with your pricing. It makes little sense to buy anything other than multiples of your basic package. For example: I can purchase 4x your $20 basic package and receive 20 additional High DA and High DR Dofollow White Hat Backlinks For Top Google Rankings over your Premium package and save $50.

Your other gig starting at $5 has the same pricing issue with the packages. I can just buy 6 multiples of your $5 Basic and save $10 over the cost of the same amount of service I would get from your Premium package.

The above package issues are a very likely reason you aren't making a sale.

3rd is your description. Most of the people who would require your service aren't tech-savvy enough to understand the jargon used. It comes across as confusing and appears scammy as similar terminology is commonplace in spam emails promising similar to your gig. I'm not saying you are a scammer, just letting you know how it may be interpreted. Make it simple enough that a 10-year-old can understand.

This is all I have for you at the moment.

  12. You are quite welcome. I've been active here for 5 years though my account is 6 years old, so I understand. The hardest part is getting past level 0, from there, things can move quite quickly.

I'm a voiceover artist so I'm not acquainted with all the different niches within the visual arts/communication categories. I suggest using search terms that fit the type of work you can offer to see what the competition looks like. Spend a few hours doing the research and taking notes while you're doing it. You may even find gigs within your wheelhouse that you would have otherwise never thought of.

I did the changes yesterday I just would like to know if they look all right and wait a week for results.

Everything looks good to me. I have some thoughts about the description, but nothing that would cause you problems [we can talk about that later].

Definitely, wait to make any more adjustments or changes to that gig. Feel free to private message me in a week to let me know how things are going, and I will help you more if I can.

In the meantime make some more gigs. Find some less saturated niche categories within your skillset and set up shop.

I look forward to hearing about you progress in the coming week(s)

Those stats are quite normal for level 0 accounts. It is also clear that your Impression score has increased significantly over the last 7 days vs the prior 23 days.

I would just add more gigs [you have 4 gig slots I believe] and give it some time. I know the waiting is the hardest part, but it will pick up.

  15. One thing I would suggest is breaking Poster Design and Flyer Design into two separate gigs for more exposure in the search. Being a new seller, you will do better with multiple gigs, as it will give you more chances to be featured in the search results of your gigs category.

  16. Hey Marina,

Did you happen to make all these changes in a short time, like in one day or over the course of a single week?

If so, your impressions may go down quite a bit as the algorithm ranks and propagates the new data on your gigs. I suggest small changes over time and give it a week or so and then analyze the new stats vs the old.

Right now with the new Update, there has been more than a lot of changes made to the algorithm and system as a whole, so we are all seeing lower performance from what we had a month or so ago. With that said, there is little information that would be helpful to you at this moment, as none of us is certain how things work anymore.

I will take a look at your gig later and if something sticks out that I feel may be hurting your click rate, I will let you know.

    Cheers,

    Ken
