  1. Well to be honest, you pay for knowledge to help you get the badge. So you are buying, at least some of it 🙂 It’s like any kind of professional or self improvement… you pay a good school to get a degree but it’s up to you if you graduate and go on to a great career. Same thing here.
  2. You are NOT paying for a Fiverr’s Choice badge or promotion. You are paying a coach who will guide you to best practices and therefore your gig can become worthy of the prestigious badge… you still earn it…NOT Buy IT and this is a clear distinction.
  3. Fiverr would not promote anyone who doesn’t meet the high standards just because they are paying a monthly coach. I think what they mean is that because you are developing your gigs with the advice from a Fiverr coach, hopefully you will be elevating the quality of your gigs, therefore the idea that you would be promoted more just works out as a natural evolution and consequence of your hard work. Thank you for sharing this. Success Coach Survey Thank you @imagination7413
  4. Ok peeps…this is an amazing opportunity! It’s affordable coaching! Cant you see that?! Coaching is so expensive and stops many people from learning and growing! Don’t get stuck! Take advantage of this coaching opportunity! Yes! Yes! Yes! I’m tired of learning the hard way!
  5. First… outstanding job on the income! After all it’s why we are all here! Did CS explain why your rank was taken away? We’re you at that time a Top Rated Seller or Level two? Have you reached all the technical milestones to be a TRS? It seems you have worked very hard and making that income on Fiverr is a reason to celebrate for sure but something is going on if you haven’t been promoted to TRS. Lol!! I LOVE to learn the hard way! Otherwise how can we move forward if we fear making mistakes? Trips, falls or duhhhhh should be my middle name! Thanks for sharing that nugget of wisdom. 🌻 @br65nz it took me from about March until about September to get orders. As a new seller you should be getting a little help from Fiverr as they give new sellers a bit of exposure first. Just like @andrewcarpen756 we all started the same way. Perhaps have another Fiverr seller who reviews gigs to review your profile and gigs to make sure it’s just right. Making $100k takes an amazing amount of focus, drive and outstanding people skills.
  6. Yes and I also think unless your organic impressions are good and your gigs are top notch, it won’t matter. It’s not a magic wand to give you orders. It’s like Fiverr’s Choice… you better be ready to fulfill the orders!
  7. Here is a screenshot of my promoted earnings so far. I had to edit the screenshot before I posted…that’s why I quickly deleted my last post oops! No personal info! I hope this is helpful. My Promoted Earnings so far2576×769 98 KB
  8. I think it’s just a matter of time. It took about a month for them to get around to me for promoted gigs. I am now promoting 2 gigs. My gigs are a bit more pricey so my clicks are ok but I feel buyers who order from a promoted gig order from convenience and price. I have noticed the orders are smaller. That’s probably just a coincidence but it’s a trend I see. Buyers with higher budgets take their time and research the best sellers and then place orders.
  9. So after about 5 days of being on the promoted gigs, I got a message that I could promote an additional gig. So I added another gig. After starting the promoted gigs I have about 65 impressions, 15 clicks and no orders from the promotions. However, the promotions can be on the same page as your organic impression so I think it gives the orders an increase just by your gigs appearing twice as much. Some gigs literally 4-5 on the first page. I have never scene the AD badge anywhere on any gig though that is still a mystery. Does anyone have a screenshot of that? It makes me wonder who are the people clicking on the Ads? They must be new buyers who don’t want to take the time to search properly for what they need. Just wondering what other seller feedback is.
  10. Have you checked your impressions and clicks? Fiverr has so many search algorithms that it’s impossible to know exactly where you show up. Just because you search doesn’t mean it’s not appearing for someone else.
  11. Hi Melissa, I think what I said has been misinterpreted a little. I never questioned the importance, or officiality of Fiverr Customer Support. But I’ve had many personal experiences over the years, of different Customer Support agents interpreting the same rule in very different ways. I’ve literally had different answers, within the space of a few hours, from different agents, and that’s happened on numerous occasions, and regarding well established practices. My comment was in reference to a CS agent promising a new seller that Promoted Gigs would be available to everyone soon. This seems to go against Fiverr’s methodology in rolling out Promoted Gigs, and certainly wouldn’t make much business sense (giving a brand new, un-vetted seller the ability to promote their gigs to page one is a recipe for disaster). All I was saying was that, until I hear that from an official channel (like a press release, an update on the relevant support page etc) that I wouldn’t guarantee on this being 100% accurate. Thank you for clarifying that. I know it takes time to sort out your thoughts and I appreciate the professional manner in which you did so.
  12. I just started the Promoted Gigs yesterday after being invited. A message showed up in my notifications and I also got an email. To be honest, I wasn’t sure about this new launch but the best I can do is try it so I can give it a legitimate and honest review. I attached screen shots of the notification and email so you can see what it looks like. I was also invited to create a Fiverr Studio which I am creating now. Some things are a mystery in Fiverr like who gets invited to these programs and why some people don’t. All I know is your professional communications are watched and so are your - not so professional- communications. It’s like I always believed that my mom had eyes in the back of her head because somehow she always knew what I was doing lol! Well Fiverr is the same. If you keep everything squeaky clean and professional including all communications, your gigs, your portfolio and the way you reach out to inquiries and customer service then hopefully it is just a matter of time and patience. If you have met the requirements for any of these special Fantastic Fiverr Favors (I call them) just continue to do good work and don’t worry about it. They are Fantastic Fiverr Favors because they are helping you and holding the door open as a favor. But who wants to extend a favor and open the door for someone who complains all the time. You would rather help people who are nice and appreciate the help. Just my thoughts. image718×214 24.7 KB image731×221 41.6 KB image750×1132 144 KB image733×475 65.8 KB image750×928 58.7 KB
  13. Just to let you know, customer service is about as official as you can get. If I were you, I would except CS as very high on the Fiverr importance scale. Just saying.
  14. I am in the US and for the first time in my life ever day is a circus and not in a good way. Getting out in nature is the best medicine for (for me) a lockdown and a bad day.
  15. That is a regular show in our house too!!!
  16. I used to have 5 to 15 in my queue and always rushing since I had to deliver in 3 days or less. Then 4 or 5 days later, I would get revision requests. Sometimes I was so impatient I would simply refund an order, or refuse to revise, get a bad review, then write an insulting response. It was a different Fiverr, the Wild West era. Now when you create brand names, unless you get those buyers to order your other gigs. You should feel lucky at having the opportunity to participate in this program, it’s not available to me. True, it’s the ultimate meritocracy, and it’s so easy to work here. Companies like Walmart demand we pass an employer assessment tests, and those aren’t always easy to pass, at least not for me. That’s pretty funny. You learn quickly that honey attracts better than bitters. @mateusbl thank you for sharing your experience. It helps others! I actually got an invitation for the ads but at the time I scoffed at it because I am so cheap and never have paid for an ad anywhere! I didn’t realize at the time that it would be such a hot forum topic lol!
  17. Fiverr isn’t like a traditional company where profitable employees are protected. Fiverr has inflexible standards, you could be a TRS, you could be making $10,000 a month, but if your Order Completion Rate falls to 89%, you’ll be demoted to level 2. It took me a long time to understand that. I had to give up my churn and burn philosophy. Had to start working harder on each order, taking my time, rejecting potential clients, never clicking “deliver now” until the client has seen the work and is satisfied, telling people to message me before ordering, etc. Also, Fiverr has taught me they don’t believe in tradition, they’re willing to change anything and everything at any time for any reason. You said it perfectly! My order requirements are a bit more strong because it forces buyers to think about what they are giving me. It’s a total team effort and buyers have to take some responsibility for the outcome of the project too. I would rather have fewer buyers who I can really pay attention too, than 20 orders in my queue. The quality of your work and your buyers who love your work, will in time, be a repeat-business machine! That is what all business owners want… 80% of your sales come from 20% of your buyers. Ads will only get you poised in the right spot but you better be ready to serve as a professional. I have changed my mind on the ads. At first it seemed like things were changing on the first two pages. But like always, I was just patient and used my down time to improve my portfolio, gigs and demo. I am actually grateful for those few weeks. I see an increase in new and great buyers. So somehow they are still finding me. I already know sellers who are opting out of the Ad program after paying for ads because the results are not as organic. I am sure it’s paying off for others. I am just going to stay positive and hope the ads are successful. My TRS is golden and I appreciate Fiverr in so many ways. I was the type of child who actually had to do chores to get allowance money. Nothing is given to you on Fiverr, you have to earn it… not just by numbers and stats but there is a magical mix of buyer love and appreciation, respect for the customer service team, an inward look at yourself and answering your inquiries in the middle of the night. You build it and they will find you.
  18. Stay positive! We all need to see this new approach as helpful. Only time and results will really tell Fiverr if it’s working. It’s still in Beta now so not even old freelancers and top sellers are invited. Even if you meet all the requirements in a category, it doesn’t mean you will be invited. You simply have to wait until you get the email.
  19. Yes it’s a bit discouraging. I really don’t work on other platforms because Fiverr is superior in every way. So to have a scare like this is unfortunate. Literally the entire world has so much to worry about, this was one place I felt a little bit secure. Hopefully, time will work out the kinks. I have put so much effort into my gigs and portfolio and it would be a shame for new buyers to not have many choices on the first pages. As of now the same people are showing up day after day in the front pages. Great for them! Not so great for the rest. I just wonder how much more the revenue is from ads rather than TRS bringing in their normal revenue. Well let’s try to stay positive. This too shall pass. I have been on Fiverr long enough to realize there are ups and downs. When I have a down turn it gives me a much needed chance to catch my breath and relax. The ads may or may not affect your business but only you can control where your mind wonders with it. It’s not really a feature because you have to be invited to participate. Just like getting to a TRS, you are chosen, it doesn’t automatically happen.
  20. Well I am at the bottom, my entire account, all my gigs are at the bottom. And I qualify for the program. Not saying it’s intentional or anything, but it’s certain some popular gigs are at the bottom and they are obviously encouraged to pay for exposure since they are not getting new messages or customers. I am a TRS and for the past two weeks new buyer inquiries have dropped to almost zero. Thank goodness for my regular buyers otherwise I would be in trouble. Yes it’s forced me to look at ads. I am seeing some sellers that have 2-3 spots on the first page. How can this be right? Some sellers have vanished from the first 3-4 pages. I also checked my email and junk files there are no invites as yet. New business for me has almost dropped completely.
