how can i am sure, for money. it is a pre paid job or after the result i get paid?
The buyer has already paid for the job, but you will only get the money (80% of the value) after the order has been delivered and marked as complete either by the buyer or the system (auto-complete).

It does to Fiverr though.
It only means you have spent money. Nothing else. It doesn't speak about your behaviour or professionalism as a buyer.

Sellers interact with you as if you are just another spammer/ a peasant. Not everyone but 1 in 2 I'd say.
Sellers should always be polite and behave appropriately regardless of the buyers' badges. Badges really mean nothing. As @visualstudios posted, we have seen scammers and abusers wearing the Fiverr Select and Fiverr Business badges. Having a crown or whatever other symbol doesn't mean that buyer is better than any other buyer who doesn't have it.

Thanks but I still can't find where I hide the @rogzwt bit of my profile
You're welcome.
No, you can't hide your username. Why would you want to do that?

If i delete my old account with my phone number can i still use the same phone number to verify a new account?
Basically it seems easier to do that than try to edit my old one as every time i try to change something eg:
the @rogzwt under my username my profile pic I'm told i can't do it!
I'm even told my new profile pic of me/myself/I is not original.
Hi there!
Yes, the username cannot be changed once it's created, but you don't need to open a new account just because of it. You have the option to display your name and I see you're already using it.
As for being told your profile pic is not original, upload a new picture of yourself. That's all you need to do. Go to your profile, click on your pic and select a new image.- 6

First of all, and most importantly, change the credentials to the hosting account. Make sure they have no access.
Whatever you do next is up to you, honestly. After all, there was no order placed.

I offer proofreading services for romance novels. I have a buyer who has submitted an order for her book that takes place during the Civil War.
It’s my own opinion that if a writer is going to include characters such as enslaved people, they need to approach those characters, storylines, dialogue, etc. with sensitivity and historical accuracy. As I get further into this book, that doesn’t seem to be the case here.
Would I be out of line by canceling the order and recommending the author work with a content editor who specializes in historical fiction.
Why cancel? Your job is for proofreading, so stick to it. Proofreading has nothing to do with the rest. Editing, fact-checking, etc., are all different things and involve different services.
You can always recommend your buyer to get in touch with a content editor who specializes in historical fiction, yes, but work on your order. There's no need to cancel.- 10

You may want to reach out to some of the buyers with whom you had a great working relationship and see if they need your help (obviously not to sound like a spam message though). Since you have already worked with them and both know each other, it could be fairly easy for you to get some quick orders & set the ball rolling again.
Don’t ever do this. This can lead to a warning or a suspension. It counts as spam. And as a buyer, it annoys me so much when I get messages like this. I will contact you if I need you. The only time I want you contacting me when we don’t have an order going is if I explicitly tell you to (for example, if you’re going to be on vacation and I ask you to please tell me when you’re back.)
And not only that. Besides getting a warning or even banned, it will also be useless! Only messages from users who have never messaged you before count towards the Response Rate stats.

We both are in the same boat (i.e. same Rated Order: 74%)
I'm jealous. Mine is only 62%, but at least all of them are 5* reviews. 😂

Same here. I never ask my buyers to leave reviews, whether public or private.

Why are you copying and posting what I wrote? 🤨

Same i also facing this issue , my order was 50$ and 7$ tip so i just 46$ in my account 🤐 , its very strange , its mean ur order is 100$ and fiver fee 40$ so 60$ left 😏 not good
Stop moaning... If you earned $46, as you say, then you got more than you should've been given. 80% of $57 is $45.6 ($40 for the order + $5.6 for the tip).

@charlsmcfarlane, as long as you send the download link attached to the order (could be a .txt file) and don't share personal information, it's fine.

Why can't a Seller leave a Buyer a review if they haven't reviewed the seller first?
1 hour ago, samcaff said:Does anyone know the answer to this as it seems a bit odd?
Because those are the rules. Simple as that. That's the answer. You should read Fiverr's ToS.

Hi, welcome to Fiverr and to the forum!
Please click on the following link: https://fiverr.com/support_tickets/new?source=help_center
Once there, select: Selling on Fiverr > Gigs > Gig status
Select your gig and check what it says. Your gig might be under review. Wait a few days and check again. If the status of your gig hasn't changed to "Active" by then, contact CS and ask them to kindly look into it.
Hope this helps.

@arlengrossman, I found your book and may I say that I really liked the very small sample that can be read. 😊 Very clever and out of the box! 😉 Kids can't resist the word toilet and everything related to it. It's a magnet for them. 😂
I truly wish you the best of success. 😊

I understand what it should say, but since Fiverr has gray text explaining the stat, then it is not a problem for me.
Yes, I know it's not a problem for you. 😉 But Fiverr should fix that error, though. You know, there are many people out there who don't understand the difference and get confused.

But they're showing it wrong by saying "Inbox response time 100%" on the analytics page.
2 hours ago, vickiespencer said:On the analytics page, a grey explanation clarifies what the response time percentage is. The wording makes sense to me.
Yes, @uk1000, the analytics page has a typo. It should say response rate, not response time.
@vickiespencer, the response rate, which is the one shown on the analytics page, is measured in percentage. Response time is measured in hours.

English is not my first language either. If you open your mail box, every mail you receive starts with "Dear". Does that mean everyone wants to kiss you? 😀
Lol, no.
In English, when you want to address someone in a formal way, you address them as dear sir/ma.
The salutation/greeting of a formal letter is not the same as calling a complete stranger "dear". 🤦♀️
"Dear Miss Robertson," is not the same as "Please bring me the bill, dear." Do you see the difference, or is it too hard?

So you want us to continue posting screenshots of AI content generators with forum posts where we know for fact that they are inaccurate, and to continue posting them as though they are accurate, which can falsely accuse some of using AI content without citing?
Two can play this game, UK...
So you want to continue letting people who we know for a fact are not even able to spell Fiverr correctly to post AI content as if it had been written by them, although WE ALL KNOW they're not able to do so, and falsely lead others to think that content is theirs? This is a very sad joke you're defending.

So we shouldn't be using those inaccurate tests as though they are totally accurate then. We should at least put a disclaimer with them (eg. under the screenshot) because of their inaccuracy, since they aren't valid, accurate proof.
Wrong! And please, just stop it UK!
What no one should be using is AI content. Period!
And regarding the disclaimers, it's them, those who use AI, who should put the disclaimer, not us! Period!
I'm so fed up with this [fill in the blank]...

Why are my earnings still showing "Coming soon"?
in Starter Questions
Posted
You keep repeating your earnings taking 21 days to clear. Where do you get that from?
Earnings take 14 days to clear. So, if your order was completed on the 16th, your funds will be available on the 30th (14 days after completion). And if the order auto-completed, they'll be available on Dec 3rd (14 days after completion, which was on the 19th).
