  1. First of all, and most importantly, change the credentials to the hosting account. Make sure they have no access. Whatever you do next is up to you, honestly. After all, there was no order placed.
  2. Why cancel? Your job is for proofreading, so stick to it. Proofreading has nothing to do with the rest. Editing, fact-checking, etc., are all different things and involve different services. You can always recommend your buyer to get in touch with a content editor who specializes in historical fiction, yes, but work on your order. There's no need to cancel.
  3. And we all missed you, Alpha! Happy to see you back. 😊
  4. Don’t ever do this. This can lead to a warning or a suspension. It counts as spam. And as a buyer, it annoys me so much when I get messages like this. I will contact you if I need you. The only time I want you contacting me when we don’t have an order going is if I explicitly tell you to (for example, if you’re going to be on vacation and I ask you to please tell me when you’re back.) And not only that. Besides getting a warning or even banned, it will also be useless! Only messages from users who have never messaged you before count towards the Response Rate stats.
  5. I'm jealous. Mine is only 62%, but at least all of them are 5* reviews. 😂 Same here. I never ask my buyers to leave reviews, whether public or private.
  6. Why are you copying and posting what I wrote? 🤨
  7. Oh well, it's Fiverr. 🤷‍♀️ You'll get used to it. 😂 And you're most welcome! 🙂
  8. Stop moaning... If you earned $46, as you say, then you got more than you should've been given. 80% of $57 is $45.6 ($40 for the order + $5.6 for the tip).
  9. @charlsmcfarlane, as long as you send the download link attached to the order (could be a .txt file) and don't share personal information, it's fine.
  10. Because those are the rules. Simple as that. That's the answer. You should read Fiverr's ToS.
  11. Hi, welcome to Fiverr and to the forum! Please click on the following link: https://fiverr.com/support_tickets/new?source=help_center Once there, select: Selling on Fiverr > Gigs > Gig status Select your gig and check what it says. Your gig might be under review. Wait a few days and check again. If the status of your gig hasn't changed to "Active" by then, contact CS and ask them to kindly look into it. Hope this helps.
  12. @arlengrossman, I found your book and may I say that I really liked the very small sample that can be read. 😊 Very clever and out of the box! 😉 Kids can't resist the word toilet and everything related to it. It's a magnet for them. 😂 I truly wish you the best of success. 😊
  13. Yes, I know it's not a problem for you. 😉 But Fiverr should fix that error, though. You know, there are many people out there who don't understand the difference and get confused.
  14. Yes, @uk1000, the analytics page has a typo. It should say response rate, not response time. @vickiespencer, the response rate, which is the one shown on the analytics page, is measured in percentage. Response time is measured in hours.
  15. Lol, no. In English, when you want to address someone in a formal way, you address them as dear sir/ma. The salutation/greeting of a formal letter is not the same as calling a complete stranger "dear". 🤦‍♀️ "Dear Miss Robertson," is not the same as "Please bring me the bill, dear." Do you see the difference, or is it too hard?
  16. Two can play this game, UK... So you want to continue letting people who we know for a fact are not even able to spell Fiverr correctly to post AI content as if it had been written by them, although WE ALL KNOW they're not able to do so, and falsely lead others to think that content is theirs? This is a very sad joke you're defending.
  17. Wrong! And please, just stop it UK! What no one should be using is AI content. Period! And regarding the disclaimers, it's them, those who use AI, who should put the disclaimer, not us! Period! I'm so fed up with this [fill in the blank]...
  18. Who would've thought that using the photo of an American lawyer as @nadir03000's profile picture would get him banned... Oh Fiverr, why are you so mean? 🙄
  19. Yes, you can use Google Drive and deliver the link as a .txt file. Just make sure you select "Anyone with the link" when getting the link to share the file. Please see the screenshot.
  20. I can see all levels.
  21. Sorry, but no. It still means what I said, and you could get in trouble if Fiverr one day decides to look into any of your orders and read your delivery message. Your buyer(s) may still not be happy even after requesting revisions and completing (or not) their order(s), and you're asking them not to review you or answer Fiverr's survey if that were the case. Anyway, it's none of my business whether or not you decide to accept my advice. In the end, it's not my account that is at risk. 🤷‍♀️
  22. And if they aren't happy? By default, it would mean " I'd greatly appreciate not to leave a review nor answer Fiverr's surveys once the order is completed". 🙈😂 You better reword that message or you could get in deep trouble. 😉
  23. Buyers that are also sellers have always been able to leave reviews even if they hired sellers from the same category/subcategory. I don't see why that would need to be different now. It hasn't bothered you before, it should not bother you now.
