  1. Thanks for your comment. It’s the same behavior but the script is always the same (a few months ago the 4 buyers who asked me a quotation sent me the same script). Today a few different buyers with a exactly the same script (not the same that at the past situation from a few months ago, but the same script shared by all of them today. I never thought about competition doing this on purpose because those buyers sometimes are associated to the same country and some other times no. So, I have no clue about what people could benefit from doing this. In my analysis they are just buyers with almost no skills to do project management. Most of them ask me a quotation without even knowing the total amount of words to record (they just send me a text demo) and once I ask a few details about the project they just keep repeating the same speech without bringing anything new and demanding a quotation. But maybe they are the same users with different accounts. I refuse to work with anybody who can’t communicate properly. I suggest you do the same.
  2. I would refuse cancelation in all those cases. They are not entitled to cancel just because they found a cheaper seller. CS would side with you on that easily. Then if they tried to pull any shenanigans with revisions or review, you would have a pretty strong case to get rid of them with CS, since the client was unreasonable from the beginning.
  3. I’m not sure. I can’t see that option on my earnings. On the other hand, TRS and Pro sellers have a 7 day clearance instead of 14, and the values are much larger on average, so it’s not as worth it to pay 1% for early release.
  4. Here’s ours. A bit spread, but over 50% of all orders are from the US alone, and about 75% from english speaking countries. And for some reason it seems to think Portugal is in the middle of the atlantic ocean lol Screenshot 2020-04-25 at 18.51.082718×1396 319 KB
  5. Increase your prices. Mention that in the text. It’s the only way that works, and it’s not perfect.
  6. Thanks! It’s a bit hidden, they should make it available straight from right clicking a user on the forum.
  7. There’s a feature to block/silence messages from users accessible on their profile. However, some users have “hidden profile” (for some reason, this shouldn’t even be allowed). How can one block such a user?
  8. Never call people dear or sir. There, already improved it massively.
  9. Just to add some other choices - Purple - associated with royalty, premium, luxury. High end, exclusive services and products work well with purple. Black - associated with authority, power, stability - there’s a reason all the Pro branding is using black, instead Fiverr’s green. Brown - it’s the color of the earth, so it is approachable, “real”, concrete, solid.
  10. Yeah, that’s the thing - I prefer to have a low world domination % and a lot of orders than a 100% world domination score. For one, I speak english, so if I only have to deal with native english speakers I’m happy.
  11. If it rounds up, yes. But even then, there are probably other countries where it will be very hard to get a sale. I don’t think North Korea would be the single exception. Fiverr must know, though. Interesting idea - who will be the first to sell a gig to space, like for the international space station? That’s another level of domination.
  12. I think the real question is if Fiverr itself has 100% world domination. I don’t think anyone has bought a gig in North Korea, for example.
  13. 18% here, video production. Top 3 are USA, UK and Canada.
  14. You can’t refund him even if you wanted. Once an order is completed and rated (or even just completed), the money starts clearing. Sellers have no option to refund the buyer once that happens, there’s nothing you can click on that will return their money to them.
  15. Don’t be affronted, Miss C. 😐 The OP could mean anyone of us who appears regularly on the Fiverr Forum. 😆 Although, I do not get the calling these posters scammers? I would not call those who just respond with, “Good Tips” or “You are right” or the like to be spammers. I would call them spammers, however. 😉 No, i’m not talking about them, they are just spam posters, which is different. I won’t go into further details, but it should be pretty obvious. In any case, my problem is solved and I guess the info will also be helpful to others 🙂
  16. Yep, there should be a permanent option. In any case I already blocked who I wanted to, so everything’s good!
  17. I won’t go into further details, it’s pretty obvious, and it has nothing to do with what they post here.
  18. Screenshot_9.jpg773×469 52 KBDone! Thank you so much, this will definitely improve my stress levels while browsing the forum 😃
  19. I don’t play like that. I’m not going to flag posts, that’s censorship (which is very common here). I just don’t want to have to read or even be aware of their existence. An ability to hide everything from a user is essential.
  20. Because Fiverr doesn’t consider them scammers. Which doesn’t mean that they are not.
  21. You must be new, then. Flagging doesn’t do anything, as they are not breaking any rules, it’s just that I have 0 respect for them and their opinions, since they are basically scammers.
  22. No, you are not. But that being the case I think I’ll just stop coming here, certain hypocrisies and attitudes of certain users make my blood boil. The ability to silence a user is a basic function of any forum.
