Extension after deadline "Late" order
mariashtelle1 replied to sheepkiller07's question in Starter Questions
Most likely you will. If you sent an extension when the order was already late then no matter when buyer accepts is your stats will take a hit as I remember. and percentage depends on how many completed orders you have in the period of the last 60 days and only you yourself can calculate that. -
It’s 2 days. 48 hours. after 24 hours orders is marked as late, after 48 as very late and the option to cancel the order.

How much gig can publish as a new seller?
mariashtelle1 replied to habib_g_uiux_d's topic in Gig Advice
That’s not how fiverr works. you set up your individual page and you work on your orders.- 11 replies

I think we did have a discussion and I don’t remember how we came to that but it seems that fiverr basically ignores PayPal disputes and if one of the sides doesn’t reply then at some point dispute is automatically accepted. Long time ago before we could ask for compensation I would send screenshots, proofs etc but fiverr wouldn’t even resend them to a PayPal dispute. It’s too much for them to deal with.

Finding Mockup for design project 🙄
mariashtelle1 replied to dynamicgraf's question in Starter Questions
You can make it yourself if you are a designer. -
There is no relation between those. But there is a relation of your bad English and you stating on your profile that you are fluent in English. There is nothing bad in learning, we all make mistakes but stating that you are fluent in English just makes you look worse to potential clients if they reach out to you and realise that you are not fluent in English

You can’t deposit money in fiverr account if you are planning to buy something, it comes directly from your payment provider
-
One of the reasons. Fiverr is placing your gig based on your performance relative to other sellers. If other sellers had better stats, satisfaction rates etc then they are placed higher than you and have higher chances of getting orders

Promoted Gigs Destroy my gig ranking and I not getting orders!
mariashtelle1 replied to proshanto777's topic in Gig Advice
No you can’t. Fiverr has a list of approved websites where you can host your portfolio and share it as a link to your buyers but unfortunately those are not part of the list- 11 replies

The number one tip that will take you far in life: take accountability and do your research. This forum has a lot of amazing advice and articles from established successful sellers on how to grow, how to manage clients, tips etc ah and another one: don’t steal pictures from the internet and don’t use AI to write your descriptions

So are you saying that I will not have a penthouse just because I want it? 😁 I thought you were keeping my trust fund or gofundme fund running and growing. I have quite a few questions now

Can I use someone else’ picture on my GIG?
mariashtelle1 replied to yeasinnewaj's question in Starter Questions
It will be at some point. Fiverr can ask you at any point in time to verify your identity. And there is a rule in fiverr TOS that you shoul don’t misrepresent your identity- 11 replies

What it means is that fiverr is showing your gig in search but people are not interested enough to click on your gig to find out more.

Mentor to chew information for you and tell you what to do so you don’t have to do any work and not pay “mentor” for their time because it’s mentorship? just read the forum and ask questions, all info is already out there that you might need

If you opened a few tickets as I entiende before will slow down the response and they will clise all tickets to merge to one at the end. How many tickets do you have open?

Then that’s your reason, when you set prices in gif editor it sets prices in US dollars but when you view your ready gif it shows prices in your browser setting which is Australian dollars
-
Unfortunately it is normal. In busy periods it might take even days. try not to add messages to your ticket because it will push your ticket back to the top of the pile. but a few things: buyer wouldn’t be able to cancel if the order is due in 12 hours. Buyers can cancel from their side only if the order is late for 48 hours. and secondly, I don’t think support will be of any help here because they will tell you to try to talk with your buyer and resolve it, give them a list of things you completed etc. or they will tell you to cancel the order if you want to and then come back to them to see if it’s eligible to remove from your stats Im afraid that’s all fiverr support will be able to do in your situation

How to sell long-term programming services

Not always. It’s like coming to a burger place that also offers seafood, Japanese sushi, steaks and Mediterranean food all at the same time. -
How to sell long-term programming services
mariashtelle1 replied to olivier_matrot's topic in New Member Introductions
Absolutely freaking no. I love fiverr precisely because they don’t have that option and no one can even think about that option. Just because I do calligraphy in 5 min it doesn’t mean I should be paid for 5 min. Some amateur will spend 2 hours on the same thing and will be paid for 2 hours just because they are incompetent or learning in the process? Mmmm no. and I see the same for many other industries including coding: yes there can be unpredictable things in coding and running into problems but why someone who’s good and can finish their work fast should be paid less than someone who is in general slower? Freelancing is not a payroll to sit and do daily jobs.- 7 replies
