  1. Fiverr killed other freelancers with this pro program. I applied years ago, and regardless of my stellar work, no response yet. I m starting to think this is not for African-based freelancers? This is sad for me because I am now getting no traffic at all after years of success on Fiver and other years of waiting to be top-rated. What does it really take? Disappointed!

  3. Yes, looking for targeted customers All the numbers matter because the more they see, the more the odds of making a sale increase.
  4. But you said promoting elsewhere does not result in increased metrics?
  5. But how does one promote gigs on Fiverr when they always lock gigs for promotion? Sometimes it's hard to understand this algorithm. It has become so confusing recently.
  6. This is a good question. I will follow to see responses.
  7. This is rather confusing. I will wait until this comes out. Anyway, I have been having a bad experience with buyer requests because of a lot of spams.
  8. I had many orders at once, so I decided to go on vacation mode and complete the projects I had. When I switched back to taking orders, my gigs are suddenly having no impressions and I can no longer promote any. So, my question is; Should freelancers be punished for applying some work management strategies so that we continue producing quality work without too much rushing it? If there is someone who works at Fiverr who is reading this, kindly assist because this platform seems to be getting harder and harder for freelancers to make it. I need some clarity if I should go on vacation mode at all - and if not, then why out the option when you know that once we do that, we are pushed back to the last pages on search results?
  9. Even good sellers are struggling here. The system has changed a lot and it's getting hard to keep up. The ups are now very limited compared to the downs.
  10. I stopped sending buyer requests because they just yield nothing (time and effort versus payout is nothing). It's just a time waster. Most buyers that put in requests just want freebies from new sellers and some are scammers. Serious buyers know what they want. They select buyers from the list of services and contact them directly.
  11. Yes, you can promote as many as you want. They just have to be meeting the qualifying criterion.
  12. Thank you. I have also decided not to use the feature anymore. I also suspect it confuses the buyers, especially those new to the platform. It's better to discuss with the buyer and send as many smaller orders until the project is complete.
  13. Hi, I did a milestone order with my client. We completed the first one, and the client accepted it and approved the second one. But the order page still shows no progress on the second milestone and I can't even see the delivery button. Is anyone experiencing this?
  14. This will be difficult to ascertain. Perhaps users can share their best selling categories.
  15. Great suggestion. Personally, I have evolved so much since joining Fiverr, I would like to also change the username to match the new services I now offer.
  16. It all depends. If you are getting few impressions, you better keep it low. But if you are getting many impressions, increase the price because you have higher chances of getting a client.
  17. Never respond to those messages. They are from scammers who can steal your personal information or lure you to work outside Fiverr and never pay you for the work. Once you receive a message with any contact details outside Fiverr, simply report the account. They targeted you because you are a new seller who can easily be manipulated because you are looking for that first sale.
  18. I don't like this issue because some people like myself are very talented on writing and data services on excel because of my work background. So, I can still write perfectly but can also do great stuff with data in excel. In that case, I will need to leverage both my skills.
  19. Don't create multiple accounts, they will disable all of them. Simply create the multiple gigs on your single account. Buyers will still buy and review your gigs independently.
  20. I really feel for you. I am also still trying to figure out the new Algorithm because certainly, something has changed. This platform is not the same anymore, and if you are not aggressive enough as a seller, you will eventually lose business and return to being broke. I will advise you the same way I did to myself because our issues are almost similar. I told myself I would start working hard and being aggressive on the site - bidding on buyer requests as much as possible. And when I get the chance to work, I produce high-quality work and get 5-star reviews only. I am happy that I was able to promote my gig again a few days ago, and I even got another of my gigs to qualify for promotions. Finally, always try to talk kindly to customers no matter how wrong they are. I suspect the protection we get as sellers is far less. I have been burned by rogue clients before, and now I pray I don't come across one like that in the future. But the good thing is not many of the clients are rogue. It's just that the only one who messes an order for you can get you badly punished by the algorithm.
  21. Hi guys. I am happy today to let you know that after months of trying, I finally managed to promote my gigs and the impressions increased dramatically. I can finally use my skills to help many people who want to bring their stories to life. If you have been experiencing this issue (low impressions), I recommend promoting your gigs if they qualify and also increase your revenue. Don't hesitate.
  22. Thank you, Maria. It's a technical request that has been referred to the technical team.
  23. Hi guys, I hope you are doing well. I have a Fiverr support ticket that is now in its 3 weeks without being solved. The last time I requested this same thing to be solved on my profile it also took three weeks, I had to close it thinking it was the reason behind my drop in impressions. Right now it's taking longer again, and my impressions are dropping, affecting my earnings. Has anyone had this issue before?
  24. Personally, I think it affects your profile somehow. It may affect your rank and cause the algorithm to place your gigs on bottom pages. This can affect your earnings. I personally think it is better to stay consistent and just update your original gigs without entirely deleting them.
  25. Congrats. This is the time to use the positive feedback and lessons you got from these orders to give your next customer the best experience.
