Promoting 1 of my gig for more than 1 month- got 49 clicks but no orders.

You are getting clicks but they are not converting into orders. So look into the gig carefully but this time as a buyer. Think what you would have been looking for in the gig to make an order after visiting it if you were a buyer. I hope you find the answer and fix your gig accordingly.

    Best wishes.

  2. Sometimes it is told by genuine buyers who are searching for people they can trust with their businesses and sometimes, it is told by genuine scammers who try to con freelancers/sellers to provide them with free works/samples. It is upto you, the seller, to differentiate between these two types of people. And I guess, experience helps a lot in this regard. The more you deal with people, the less you fall for cheap tricks. Period.

  3. Happens every once in a while. The buyer just makes an order without reading the gig description, FAQ and packages and then asks to do something that is not offered in the gig. Then you can either do it or risk getting a hit on your metrics by canceling the order. It would be better if there was an option to accept or reject an order after the requirements form has been filled up.

No one knows that. fiverr doesn't disclose how their algorithm works.

Exactly! Everyone is just guessing. Also the search result is unique to each user. So if you are seeing a gig at top of the search result for a keyword, another user may not see that for the exact same keyword.

And anyone telling you "follow this 10 bullet points" or "follow these 3 tips and tricks" are lying to you. and I would really question any of those advices. So I'll just leave it with you.

I could not agree more. What a seller can do is to create an eye-catching gig that intrigues a potential buyer to click on the gig when shown in the search result, then use all the details of the gig in the gig description and FAQ section, delivery exactly the advertised service when an order is made. Remember, the search result can only bring a potential buyer to you but it is you who turn the potential buyer into a buyer and retain him/her.

    Good luck.

    Check the reviews
Some of the reviews are just boop 5 stars and a tiny generic description. If you’re not entirely sure, see what they say. If they are all the same generic ones then maybe want to dig further before you hire them.

Also check the bad reviews. It might reveal the nature of the person.
